Hi everybody, for a while now i've been meaning to get myself the I.E. DX Shawn Michaels/ Triple H pack. I just wanted to know what everyone thinks about the HBK figure. I compared it to the CSDA4 figure and they both have different logos and different boots designs and i want to know if one is more accurate than the other. Also can i have your thoughts about if the following things were either a good or bad decision by Jakks: - Skintone - Torso choice - Small kickpad mold for lower legs
Thanks for reading. Rated R NinJa

As you probably saw in my pics in the other thread, I put the IE DX HBK gear onto the CSDA4 figure, which I find works well for me. It was an odd choice for them to use the short kick-pad mould for his boots, but Jakks have cheaped out like that with Jericho and Undertaker figs too. The entrance gear covers up that unfortunate mistake though and I really like the way it looks when it's pimped.

I own both and side by side they're like siblings.. Anyways, I think the design on the I.E. DX HBK is more accurate than CSDA4.. Also, if scale would be a factor, CSDA HBK and DA Underttaker seems to be of the same size, which is far from reality... So overall, I would pick IE DX over CSDA...

Thanks Inaggasson, Kanefan99 and kidbukid_customs, +1 for you guys. I prefer the RA scale as i only by DA figures for taller wrestlers so i'll end up buying the I.E. DX figure instead of CSDA4 HBK. Does anyone else think that the I.E. DX figure would look better with the CW torso and tall kickpad mold? Rated R NinJa

I never knew it had the short kickers however with your skills, you can easily change it to some tall kickers as they are probably a better fit because obviously with the short ones, he is too short.

I.E. HBK would look too tall with tall kickers, so he's possibly best off with the ones he has. With regards the torso, he would look better with a standard cruiser torso as he was never quite as ripped as the figure, but finding one with the right skintone might be a pain.

Thanks very much for the help Inaggasson, if i do end up buying it, i hope to add a CW torso. Otherwise, i could easily make a custom. +1 Rated R NinJa

Personally, I feel the Ripped CW torso is the perfect choice, as Michaels was actually ripped at one time, shortly before breaking his back and being forced into an early retirement.
The skintone is a little too dark and the stubble is painted too thick, similar to the CSDA4 figure, but the designs on the wristbands and tights are much more accurate. Also, the boots have exceptional detail and short kickers are better to scale with Michaels' actual height.
Overall, including the removable entrance gear, the CS I.E. DX is the best Shawn Michaels figure in that particular attire, and most accurate, too.

Do you think Michaels would look better with the lighter skintone and possibly the DA20 head? +1 Rated R NinJa

I don't know if you could go too much lighter, as he was tanned at the time, so it might just be best to keep the skintone as is. You could use the DA20 head if you wanted, but I still prefer the original despite its orange-ish tone. Also, the skintones wouldn't match up, that's for sure, but I suppose it might be worth a try.

I think the IE DX HBK is pretty much spot on.the CSDA4 HBK could really have done with some DX kneepads.because you gotta put pads on there to disguise those lanky DA legs and when you do you obscure some detail on the tights.
as for the IE
torso choice and skintone-A+ from me. choice of boots and headsculpts-also A+
the short kickers suit HBK better IMO and I like the head with the unshaven look too.the DA20 HBK head would look better on the WM14 HBK though.
