Two businessmen. One based in New York and heiling from a legendary family in professional wrestling. Vincent Kennedy McMahon, born August 24th, 1945. He had wrestling in his blood, his father, Vincent James McMahon was a promoter for professional wrestling, back in its early days, when the United States of America were severed into five different regions. Capitol Wrestling Corporation was formed in the early 1950s, as Vince J. McMahon promoted CWC in the north-eastern region, where wrestling was most popular in the States. Vincent James put on wrestling which used good talent alongside alot of entertainment, in which made the audience literally go nuts for the action inside of a four-sided ring. McMahon Sr was the first promoter ever to put wrestling on television, also, as CWC aired from Washington, DC every Wednesday night, as the shows were taped inside an old barn. McMahon Sr eventually turned CWC into the World Wide Wrestling Federation in 1963, utilizing alot of talent.
Vince McMahon Jr worked as a primary part of the booking stage in the World Wide Wrestling Federation, and worked as an interviewer in backstage areas, but also was the mastermind behind the infamous Muhammad Ali vs Antonio Inoki 'Wrestler versus Boxer' match in 1975. McMahon Sr eventually retired in 1980, and handed Titan Sports Inc [James' company] and the World Wide Wrestling Federation down to his son. Vince brought alot of fame to his run, as he turned his father's company from a promotion packed to the rafters with talent into more of a family orientated promotion, using drama and entertainment as his strong key point. Vince immediately became unpopular among the other promoters throughout the United States of America, as McMahon Jr sliced superstars from other promotions out, and brought them exclusively into the WWWF [now turned WWF], under written contracts. Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat. The number of personalities increased, as the WWF grew larger. But on the kayfabe side of things, the WWF created a boom in professional wrestling, as he built up a grand audience, using a project in which he called the 'Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection'. Vince managed to get television time on closed-circuit television, to further other promoters' frustration.
An important part came into play when he chose to have Hulk Hogan win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship from the Iron Sheik on January 24th 1984. The crowd tore the roof off of Madison Square Garden, as Hogan became the ideal role model for young fans everywhere.
Another important role happened to promote WWF occured when McMahon came up with WrestleMania. The inaugaral event was held on closed-circuit television on March 31st, 1985, as it featured many stars like Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper mix it up with celebrities like Mr T, and even involved Cindi Lauper in the show. WrestleMania III made a massive impact, as it featured one of the greatest rivalries in professional wrestling take place, as Hulk Hogan took on Andre the Giant.
By the coming of the 90s, Vince McMahon seemed to have professional owned the other promotions, as the regional system for wrestling promotions seemed to of collapsed, as the American Wrestling Association [one of the victims of McMahon's wipeout of talent] folded from lack of funds and popularity. Except one promotion.
World Championship Wrestling.
In 1991, a forty year old Eric Bischoff was scheduled to have a test run in the World Wrestling Federation as an interviewer. Bischoff had previously worked in AWA under a similar role, but AWA had collapsed. Bischoff did not get the job. He did, however sign with WCW, as Bischoff would become one of the main interviewers.
World Championship Wrestling had formed from the ashes of Jim Crockett Promotions, the promotion was bought by billionaire, Ted Turner in 1988. WCW formed in 1991, but had had a mixed history, having its tradition previously ripped by bookers like Jim Herd and Kip Frey. Those two had no previous knowledge to wrestling and booked it mindlessly. Ole Anderson and Bill Watts also were head bookers of WCW in the early 90s, but neither could stretch the audience of WCW due to their old-school sense. Bischoff was given the job in 1992, as he began to build it up from the ashes. He handled the job pretty badly at first, as he was forced to place all WCW programming from Orlando, Florida in Disneyland. He managed to cope alright eventually though, managing to bring in Hulk Hogan, and eventually grow on to steal such big stars, like Randy Savage and mix them with sports athletes, like Paul Wight [who would become 'The Giant] and even Dennis Rodman.
Bischoff attracted more viewers, as he managed to get World Championship Wrestling to compete with the World Wrestling Federation, in 1995, as he grabbed WCW a primetime Monday night show on TNT. Monday Nitro fought Monday Night RAW in a weekly battle from September 4th, 1995 onwards.
The WWF had worn down a bit, momentum wise, as in 1993, Vince McMahon realised stars like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were winding down, and had little time left in active wrestling. This led to the start of a push for other, younger stars, like Bret Hart; Shawn Michaels, as well as Diesel [the man Shawn had brought in as a bodyguard; Diesel would end up holding the WWF Championship for a year]. The audience had since switched to Nitro, and the tides turned more in an edition of Nitro in 1995, as WWF superstar, Alundra Blayze traded promotions for WCW, with the WWF World Womens Championship in her possession, and dumped it in a rubbish bin. Nitro would end up dominating RAW in the ratings, as 1996 pulled on.
Monday Nitro began to demolish Monday Night RAW, and the WWF, as it got to the point of two of WWF's bigger stars' contracts expiring. Razor Ramon and Diesel. They ended up signing with Bischoff, starting a rebellious gimmick in WCW, under real names, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. The nWo formed on July 6th 1996, at Bash at the Beach, as Scott Hall and Kevin Nash defeated Lex Luger, Randy Savage and Sting, with Hall and Nash's accomplish being Hulk Hogan.
The almighty Hulk Hogan had turned on WCW and his fans, as the New World Order dominated Nitro. The roster grew, so did the nWo.
This continued, as Bret Hart was on the verge of going for WCW, but Vince anchored him down with a six million per annum contract. This frustrated Shawn Michaels, as Michaels and Hart ended up brawling for real in the backstage area of a RAW in 1997. Hart eventually signed for WCW, and he was scheduled to leave in December 1997.
Bret was the WWF Champion going into a match with Shawn Michaels, a longtime rival of his, in which both men were going to battle at Survivor Series, a pay-per-view which would be held in Montreal, Canada. Bret's home country. He had made it clear to Vince McMahon that he would not lose the title cleanly on his turf. Vince had a meeting with Hunter Hearst Helmsley [one of Shawn Michaels' best friends], and Shawn Michaels in a phone call, the Wednesday before Survivor Series, as the three decided that the best thing to do was screw Bret over in front of his own friends and family.
The deal was done, Bret arranged for Shawn Michaels to apply him in his own submission move, the Sharpshooter, as Bret would then flip it around, and D-Generation X [Shawn's faction] would interfere, causing a disqualification finish. Official, Earl Hebner rang the bell under orders from Vince, as Bret would go off on one, whilst Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon got away with the WWF Championship.
Meanwhile, in WCW, it was beginning to be the climax of one of their biggest rivalries, as in September 1996, Sting quit World Championship Wrestling, because of Hollywood Hogan [formerly known as Hulk Hogan] and the New World Order. Fake Stings appeared, vignettes aired, swerves happened, before it was clear that Sting wanted Hogan at Starrcade 1997. Starrcade was the biggest WCW pay-per-view of the year, and after fourteen months build-up, it was time for it to climax. It was more of a dissappointment than anything, unfortunately, as Sting and Hogan were sluggish, and the finish called to be a fast count from Nick Patrick, which would trigger new signee Bret Hart to arrive and reset the match. Sting would be pinned by Hogan, but instead, Patrick counted at normal pace, causing the whole thing to be a victim of cluster. Hogan had really been pinned cleanly and then screwed out of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
After the Montreal Screwjob, many superstars left the WWF, disgusted by McMahon and Shawn Michaels' actions. Mick Foley, who worked as Mankind, would dissappear for a few weeks, as British Bulldog and Crush would walk out. Jim Neidhart joined them, but not before being buried by D-Generation X on a RAW in December 1997.
WWF had changed once again in the span of two years, as the World Wrestling Federation had began to become a more racy product than before, more dirtier and violent aswell as mature than it was before. Steve Austin, who was previously fired from WCW by Bischoff, was pushed as the rebel of the company, reaching his peak by beating Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV to win the WWF Championship. Austin and Vince McMahon had a feud, and RAW is WAR [renamed in 1997] gained a massive rating for the final quarter-hour of RAW in April 1998, featuring Austin and McMahon fight. Also, longtime worker, the Undertaker had began a gripping rivalry with Kane, as the two even brought in an angle featuring Kane set a cameraman on fire, and even chokeslam 'Taker through his parent's casket.
WCW became more repetitive, as the same flurry of faces appeared. WWF eventually began to catch up with World Championship Wrestling, as Ted Turner's executives in the company WCW was based in got involved, telling Bischoff to calm down with the action story lines, making WCW programming a PG13 rating. By this point, WCW Thursday Thunder had also debuted on TBS Superstation. WCW ran five shows a week. WWF ran three, as Sunday Night HeAT joined RAW is WAR and Shotgun Saturday Night in August 1998.
WCW buried themselves accidentally during another edition of the Monday Night Wars, as RAW is WAR had been taped on Monday 28th December 1998, featuring Mankind win the WWF Championship from The Rock. WCW had knowledge of this, as on that RAW would of been aired on January 4th, 1999. Nitro play-by-play announcer sarcastically released this information, saying it would 'put butts in seats'. Many viewers switched from TNT to USA Network at this point, and the January 4th 1999 edition of Nitro was tarnished further, by a swerve screwing viewers out of Hollywood Hogan vs Kevin Nash, as it ended in a fingerpoke.
WWF would dominate WCW, as they debuted a show to rival with WCW's Thursday night show, Thunder, by debuting SmackDown on April 28th, 1999. But the show premiered officially on Thursday 26th August, 1999. WCW were given hope, as in September 1999, two of WWF's head bookers, Vince Russo and Ed Ferrera left WWF for WCW, as the two promised big things for the failing company. Eric Bischoff was fired in early September 1999, as he went on a sabbatical from wrestling. Russo and Ferrera really worsened WCW, booking pointless 'Pinata on a Pole' matches, degrading stars, with their also over-the-top booked shows.
WWF seemed to of conquered WCW, as another hint of success would almost hit WCW. Jeff Jarrett's contract was expiring on Sunday 17th October 1999 at midnight. Jarrett was the WWF Intercontinental Champion, and could of left for WCW with the title and gone with the Alundra Blayze fiasco all over again. Vince McMahon managed to bribe Jarrett however, as Jeff stayed to job to Chyna in a 'Good Housekeeping' match at WWF's No Mercy pay-per-view.
Eric Bischoff returned to co-operate with Vince Russo in 2000, but the two ended up ruining their partnership, as both men became frustrated with one another.
As 2001 nears, Russo has laid off of booking in WCW and taken a leave of absense from professional wrestling and WCW, as the company seems to be near being sold from Ted Turner. The World Wrestling Federation seem to be dominating, and won the battle with WCW. But only the future can tell us what happens...And so we begin...
2001.

Backstory wasn't necessary at all to be that detailed, but it was a nice blast from the past. This should be good once you get the ball rolling.

The backstory was one of the best I have ever seen. I am very excited for this diary.

A good backstory makes for a good diary But sometimes, too much is a bad thing. I agree with Charisma that it was too detailed for my liking. I agree, too. The long, but pretty good, backstory is just unnecessary. I can't wait to see what you do with this, though. Should be good.

Monday 1st January, 2001 Austin, Texas; Frank Erwin Arena Taped on Friday 29th December, 2000 - The opening signature to all WWF programming airs, showing numerous clips of the RAW stage with pyrotechnics going off, before cutting to the WWF logo. - A video package aired, as it showed how evil and sadistic Stephanie McMahon is as the authority figure in her father's absense. It highlights her slapping of Chris Jericho, and putting him in a handicap match last week on SmackDown. We are reminded of her new year's resolution, where she wanted respect from all WWF superstars, only one Stone Cold Steve Austin refused to give her it. Austin talked about how much he wanted a shot at the WWF Championship, but Stephanie denied him of a chance, saying she didn't think he deserved it. And then, last Thursday night on SmackDown, Stephanie assisted WWF European Champion, William Regal defeat Steve Austin. (C, B) - The opening video package aired to kick off WWF RAW is WAR this week, as we go to the live arena, as pyrotechnics go off throughout the arena, and Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the New Year's Day edition of RAW is WAR, as the World Wrestling Federation enters 2001! JR and King put over the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin WILL be here tonight! Also, The Rock will battle Rikishi, in a match where the winner will meet the winner of Kane vs The Undertaker tonight on SmackDown, the winner of that going to the Royal Rumble to challenge for the WWF Championship! (A*, A, A) - Chris Jericho defeated Eddie Guerrero at 6:45 This was a solid way to kick off the New Year's Day edition of RAW is WAR, as it featured 'Y2J' Chris Jericho battle 'Latino Heat' himself, Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero came out to the ring alone for this one, as he was pretty prepared to do battle with Jericho, as the two started off with some quick brawling, before Jericho took charge, taking Guerrero down with a flying forearm, following up with some fast-paced moves, using a unique monkey flip, aswell as attempting the Lionsault early on, only for Eddie to get his knees up. Guerrero managed to regain momentum here, as he went to work on Y2J. Jericho eventually fought back, catching Eddie coming off of the top rope with a missile dropkick, as Jericho caught him, applying the Walls of Jericho! Chris Benoit, the WWF Intercontinental Champion rushed to the ring, as he went to nail Jericho, but Eddie by this point had broken out of the Walls! Eddie got in Benoit's face, asking the champ why he was out here, he shoved Benoit out of the ring, as Jericho then rolled Guerrero up for the win! (A) - Chris Jericho begins to celebrate his victory, as Eddie Guerrero quickly returns to his feet, looking around before glaring at Chris Benoit, standing from ringside. Guerrero shoved the air and left the ring, heading up the rampway, as Benoit proceeded in trading blows with Jericho, nailing the German suplex on Jericho! Benoit looked dominant! (B) - We see Stone Cold Steve Austin wandering through the hallways, as he gets an outrageous response from the audience! Austin walks into Stephanie McMahon's office, as Stephanie asks Austin why the hell he's in here, andwhy he didn't knock first. Austin cut straight to the point, demanding a shot at the WWF Championship tonight. Stephanie tells Austin that the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle already has a match signed for hm tonight, but not only that, but like she said last week; Stone Cold doesn't deserve one in her eyes. Steph threatens Austin, saying that if he gets in her again tonight, she will do something her father didn't even have the guts to do, and that is fire Austin! Austin laughs, saying that he sorta did that before. Austin cuts Steph off again, saying that he's in a good mood, so he's just gonna have to follow Stephanie until he gets what he wants. Austin sits down, takes out a beer and sits comfortably as Steph seems angered! (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 1 ]- We go to the parking lot as Team ECK has arrived in Austin, Texas! Christian and Edge collect their bags from the back of Kurt Angle's car, as the WWF Champion himself steps out, his arms wide open! He hugs both Edge and Christian, as he says he senses a good night ahead! The trio poke fun at Texas to gain extra cheap heat, before Jonathan Coachman cuts them off! Angle seems defensive, asking why he's here. Coach says that a six-man tag team match has been made for tonight, featuring Team ECK! Christian brags, saying he totally already knew, but then Coach says that they will be facing the Hardy Boyz and a man of their choosing! Team ECK don't seem pleased now, as Coach leaves! (B) - Billy Gunn and The Dudley Boyz defeated Right to Censor by disqualification in 4:39 This was a fairly decent six-man tag team match featuring the two dudes from Dudleyville, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley team up with "The One" Billy Gunn, as Gunn was seeking revenge on the faction that severely injured his girlfriend, Chyna; the Right to Censor. RTC tonight consisted of Val, Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather competing, but Steven Richards still stuck around to buzz about the ringside area. Gunn and Val started, as both men exchanged some rights and lefts, Gunn then battling more with offense, tagging in Bubba Ray Dudley, as he then went after Val, but Goodfather and Buchanan began to double-team Bubba. Gunn eventually got the tag back in, but Steven Richards ran in, nailing Gunn with a steel chair! (C+) - Steven Richards began to stomp away at Billy Gunn, as Val joined in on the beatdown. Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather meanwhile set up a table, sliding it into the ring. That's when the Dudley Boyz took charge, taking Val, Buchanan and Goodfather out! Richards was unable to escape, however, as D-Von set the table up and Bubba put Steven through the wood! The Dudley Boyz and a semi-conscious Billy Gunn celebrated. (C-) - We go to the backstage area, as Chris Benoit is shown standing around, his hands on his hips and the WWF Intercontinental Championship drenched over his shoulder, as Eddie Guerrero came out of a doorway, having changed into casual gear. Benoit asks Guerrero what happened out there earlier, Eddie saying that he didn't need any help from Benoit. Chris says that he did what was right for him. Eddie shoves Chris, as he gets hot, Benoit telling Eddie to chill, as Eddie's too good a friend to fall out with. The two hug, as Benoit's face faces the camera, a cheeky grin on his face! (B) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 2 ] - We go to the ring, as Jerry "King" Lawler is stood in the ring, a big smirk on his face, as he begins to brag about hosting the 2000 Babe of the Year Bikini Contest! The crowd pop, as Lawler says that this Austin, Texas audience is lucky to be here in attendance! Lita makes her way out first to a good reaction, as she wears a red robe over the top of her bikini. Trish Stratus soon follows out, as she gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, and finally, Jacqueline comes out to a solid ovation from her home state crowd! Lita goes first, as she removes her bikini to reveal a green thong and strapless top bikini combination, as she gets a loud reaction. Trish Stratus removes her robe, revealing a blue and white swimsuit, covering her boobs but also stretched down like a thong. That got a loud pop, equal to Lita's reaction. Jacqueline finally unrobes, showing off some dark chocolate love, in a brown bikini, leather boots and cowgirl hat! Lawler goes to announce the winner, but the Right to Censor theme plays! The crowd boo, as the WWF Womens Champion, Ivory arrives! She says it's awful that these three women have to take part in this match, she rants how women have no respect these days, before being cut off by Lita! Lita tells Ivory to come and get in the ring for a fatal-four-way match right now then! Ivory looks reluctant, but removes her belt and climbs into the ring! (B-) - Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory and Jacqueline fought to a draw in 1:03 This was a nothing match, as it featured three of the participants of the 2001 Babe of the Year bikini contest divas in the ring with the proud WWF Womens Champion, Ivory. The three divas were still in their seductive bikinis, as Trish Stratus didn't get involved much, due to fear of showing flesh live on TNN. Lita and Jacqueline simply dived at Ivory and pounded away at Ivory. Eventually, Jackie and Lita grabbed Ivory's arms, as it was Trish's time to go in for the kill, so to speak. Trish tore Ivory's shirt and skirt off, stripping her to her bra and panties! Ivory high-tailed it out of the ring, as Lita, Jacqueline and Trish Stratus celebrated in the ring. (D) - We go to the backstage area, as Kevin Kelly is standing by with Jeff and Matt, the Hardy Boyz, as Kelly asks Jeff and Matt about how they feel about their upcoming six man tag team match against Team ECK - Edge, Christian and Kurt Angle. Matt did the talking, saying that they felt good about tonight, as tonight they will prove that they deserve to become WWF Tag Team Champions once again. Kelly asks Jeff who they could possibly choose to be their partner tonight, as Jeff says that he will find out later, everybody will! (B-) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 3 ]- We go to the live arena, as the WWF Hardcore Champion, Raven has already made his way down to the ring, as Raven stood in the middle of the ring, starting off by grabbing some cheap heat, dissing the fans from Austin, Texas in attendance tonight. Raven says that 2001 will be the year of the Raven. He says that he will always be master of the WWF Hardcore Championship and dares anybody to come out right now and challenge for the title! Steve Blackman's theme played, as he ran down the rampway! (C+) - Raven outlasted Steve Blackman for the WWF Hardcore Championship in 2:28 Steve Blackman rushed down the rampway, as the WWF Hardcore Champion, Raven met him on the rampway. Steve Blackman got in alot of chest and upper body shots, then slamming Raven into the barricade. Raven was thrown over the barricade and into the audience, as the two traded shots through to the consession stand! Raven turned the tide of momentum, delivering a wise drop-toe-hold into a set-up chair. Raven used a trash can to nail Blackman with, as he continued his offence, a Raven Effect on the floor, but Hardcore Holly appeared! Holly sandwiched Raven's head between two trash can lids and almost got the win, but Blackman broke it up! Raven got up in the time those two ended up brawling, running away with the WWF Hardcore Championship! (C) - We see Team ECK, Edge, Christian and Kurt Angle walk down one hallway, the WWF Tag Team Championships and the WWF Championship in their possession, as we see the two Hardy Boyz down another corridor, they collide up next! (C) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 4 ]- Team ECK defeated The Hardy Boyz and British Bulldog in 7:39 after Kurt Angle pinned Jeff Hardy This was a great match-up here, as it featured the in-ring return of the British Bulldog to the World Wrestling Federation. He came out with his short haircut, but wearing the Union Jack colors, as here he started off with one-half of the WWF Tag Team Champions, Edge. Edge got in some shots, but the power of the Bulldog reminded us of how good he was back in his prime, shoving Edge away and delivering a gorilla press slam. Christian got the tag, as him and the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle began to double-team Bulldog, pounding away at the returning Davey Boy Smith. Angle got the tag, as he began to work over Bulldog's well-documented back, nailing a sweet belly-to-belly overhead suplex, aswell as a German suplex. Bulldog eventually regained momentum, nailing a desperation lariat which looked like it could of knocked Angle's head off, as he tagged in Jeff Hardy. All hell broke loose here, as Christian and Edge began to beat down Matt Hardy and Bulldog at ringside, as Angle ducked a clothesline from Jeff, nailing the Angle Slam for the win! (B+) - Kurt Angle celebrated his victory, as the WWF Champion rolled out of the ring, from harm's way, as a pissed off British Bulldog climbed into the ring. Team ECK celebrated from the rampway with their respective titles in hand! - We go to the office of Stephanie McMahon once again, as Stone Cold Steve Austin glares at her face, as McMahon goes to call somebody via telephone, but Austin glares at her, Stephanie putting the phone down and starting to leave. Austin follows McMahon out to the corridor, as Stephanie eventually turns around, demanding what Austin is doing. McMahon says that on Thursday night on SmackDown, Austin better bring his gear, because he's facing the biggest duo in the WWF today! Austin says to Steph he won't show up for the show if it isn't something that sweetens the deal. McMahon sighs, finally telling Austin that if he beats the two on SmackDown, he will qualify for the triple threat match on SmackDown with the winner of Kane/Taker and Rock/Rikishi from tonight! Austin claps his hands in sarcasm, as Stephanie continues her venture along the corridor, Austin STILL following her! (A) - An advertisement appears, showing two different groups of farmers brawling with many weapons in the ring, which is placed in the middle of a cornfield. The Royal Rumble is live on pay-per-view from New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday 21st January, 2001! (C+) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 5 ]- We go to the locker room of T&A, as Test is standing around as Trish Stratus appears, wearing her swimsuit. Test says that he doesn't want Trish around ringside tonight because he's afraid she will get hurt. Trish acts sensitive to Test, saying that he should focus on the WWF Intercontinental Championship, not her. Test tells Trish to just wait back here. (C) - Chris Benoit defeated Test to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship in 6:44 This was a solid match-up here, as it featured the 'Rabid Wolverine' take on Test for the Wolverine's WWF Intercontinental Championship. Test started off with numerous stiff shots, as he got a good reaction from the crowd in this match. Chris Benoit eventually got into Test, taking him down after numerous chops and using the hit-and-run strategy to good usage. Benoit began to work over the shoulders of Test, pulling apart and picking apart at the arm of Test. The challenger managed to power out of one of Benoit's submissions, however, as Test got set up for the Big Boot! Benoit ducked it, though, Mike Sparks receiving the Big Boot instead! Test then nailed a pumphandle slam on Benoit and attempted to cover, but there was no referee! Albert then came to the ring, as he delivered a Baldo Bomb to Test! The crowd booed as Albert left, Benoit climbing up top and coming off with a Diving Headbutt for the win! (B) - Chris Benoit celebrated his victory, as he backed up the rampway, still the WWF Intercontinental Champion! - We go to the backstage area, as Jonathan Coachman was standing by with the WWF European Champion, William Regal, as Coach asked Regal why he conducted for this interview to take place. Regal simply said that he's just happy that he's living and healthy, representing Europe as their champion! Regal says that prestige has been given to his WWF European Championship, and his continent, when last Thursday night, the British William Regal defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin! Regal grinned, as Coach seemed confused. (B) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 6 ]- We go to the ring, as the APA were already stood awaiting the arrival of their opponents tonight, as Kaientai came out, wearing the blue and white colors, their Japanese flags in hand. They use the voice anime-style dubs, as they pronounced this 'Kaientime'! They declared victory over big, stupid Bradshaw and Faarooq! (D) - The APA defeated Kaientai in 1:55 after Bradshaw pinned Funaki This was a mere squash match for the APA, as it seemed pretty obvious that Kaientai weren't going to win when TAKA Michinoku and Funaki both attempted to body slam Bradshaw and Faarooq [respectively], and then got the hell knocked out of them. There was no tags made or anything, all four guys battled in the ring, well tried to battle. Another comedic moment occured when Michinoku and Funaki both stood on opposite turnbuckles, going to dive onto Bradshaw and Faarooq [respectively, again] with diving crossbodys, but the APA members caught them, slammed them and continued offense. Faarooq delivered a Dominator to Michinoku, as Bradshaw knocked Funaki's head off with the Clothesline From Hell, leading to victory! (C) - A graphic hypes up The Rock vs Rikishi being up next! (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 7 ]- The Rock defeated Rikishi to advance to SmackDown in 5:54 This was a fantastic match-up here, as it featured two cousins of the Anoi'a wrestling family battling for a shot at the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble. The Rock started of trying to cut down the Bad Man, Rikishi, but to really no avail, as Rikishi refused to go down, poundingaway at The Rock. Rock got stomped away at, as the big man targeted the ribs of Rock. The crowd were super behind Rock against Rikishi, as Rikishi sandwiched Rock in the corner, delivered the bad stinkface and even taunted to get himself more hated from this capacity crowd! Rock eventually found the power to nail a desperation move, like the spinebuster, beginning to rediscover his momentum, even trying something different and coming off of the top rope with a diving elbow drop! Rock finished it off with an amazing show of strength with the Rock Bottom, pinning Rikishi for the final count! (A*) - The Rock celebrated his victory to a huge response from the audience, as the main event between The Undertaker and Kane is up next! (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 8 ]- The Undertaker defeated Kane by disqualification in 9:54 This was a great way to close down RAW is WAR this week, as the main event of the evening contested The Undertaker battling the 'Big Red Machine', Kane in a match that had been three years in the making, as the two had feuded on-and-off since Kane's debut in October 1997. The Undertaker and Kane started like two gladiators as the match began, trading blows, Kane clotheslining Taker out of the ring, showing strength. The Undertaker would then re-enter the ring and come back at Kane, eliminating the 'Big Red Machine' from the ring! 'Taker and Kane brawled into the crowd, everywhere, as the two fought back into the ring, Kane busting 'Taker open with a face-first slam into the steel steps! Undertaker nailed a Chokeslam on Kane, but Kane managed to kick out at two! 'Taker seemed shocked, as he couldn't possibly try the Last Ride on him! Kane then broke free of 'Taker's momentum, nailing a Chokeslam of his own! Kane covered, but for a near fall! Kane went nuts, as Undertaker traded blows with him. Kane then brought the fist fight outside of the ring, to ringside, as Kane grabbed the steel steps and rammed them into 'Taker's cranium! (B+) - Kane set off his pyrotechnics, despite being at ringside, as the 'Big Red Machine' stood tall, despite it being The Undertaker versus The Rock and possible Steve Austin on SmackDown, Thursday! RAW goes off the air with Kane stood over 'Taker's unconscious body! Quick Results JAKKED: Al Snow defeated Just Joe (C-) JAKKED: Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay defeated Aaron Aguilera and Donavan Morgan (C-) JAKKED: William Regal defeated Essa Rios (C+) Singles Match: Chris Jericho defeated Eddie Guerrero (A) Six-Man Tag Team Match: D-Von Dudley, Bubba Ray Dudley and Billy Gunn defeated The Goodfather, Val and Bull Buchanan (C+) Four-Way Dance: Trish Stratus, Ivory, Lita and Jacqueline fought to a no contest (D) WWF Hardcore Championship: Raven outlasted Steve Blackman as Hardcore Holly was also involved (C) Six-Man Tag Team Match: Kurt Angle, Edge and Christian defeated British Bulldog, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy (B+) WWF Intercontinental Championship: Chris Benoit defeated Test (B) Tag Team Match: The APA defeated Kaientai (C) Singles Match: The Rock defeated Rikishi (A*) Singles Match: The Undertaker defeated Kane (B+)

I feel like this diary could be cluttered with both WWF and WCW in it. Jericho over Eddie was fine, could have gone either way. Good Austin/Steph segment, should be fun. Fine six-man tag there with RTC, wonder what can come out of that. Women's thing was fine, it was all realistic. Stuff with hardcore title I could see going down as well. Glad Team ECK won, they were awesome. Heh, Austin thing is funny. Rock over Rikishi was good. Main event was fine as nobody looked weak. Pretty good show, very realistic as well.

Holy ****. That is one huge show. I like details, but not that much. It was still a decent show, though. A great way to the open up the show, man. Guerrero/Jericho matches are great, and this one was no different. Great back and forth action, and the finish was well done. Jericho picking up the win makes me happy, but I would be just as happy if Guerrero won. The Steve Austin/Stephanie segment was decent. Hopefully Austin gets a title shot soon. Good six-man tag team match. I wonder where the feud between Gunn and RTC will go. Should be interesting. The divas match was kind of dumb, imo, but it seems like something WWE would do. The rest of the lower card matches were decent, there is just way too much to comment on. The main event was great. A lot of good back and forth action. Overall, a good show, it was just too long for my liking. Way too many segments. However, it's your show, you can do what you want. Keep it up.

This show was monstrous and I hope all shows are not like this. Amazing opening contest. I love Beniot dominating at the end. I like the Stephanie/Austin segment. Team ECK was amazing, I miss them. Okay six man tag, but nothing special. I hate how short the divas match was, it could have been a lot longer. The Hardcore match was great and captured the feel of the title. ECK versus Hardys and Bulldog sounded great. Beniot retaining is good. The action that took place between commercial 6 and 7 was way to short compared to everything else. Rock versus Rikishi getting an A+ was shocking. Undertaker winning by DQ was decent and I like Kane looking dominate. Overall, I am unsure about the show. It was well written but I feel it was lacking something.

Thursday 4th January, 2001 Freedom Coliseum; San Antonio, Texas Taped on Thursday 28th December, 2000 - The opening signature to all WWF programming airs, showing numerous clips of the RAW stage with pyrotechnics going off, before cutting to the WWF logo. - A video package aired, as it reviewed Stephanie McMahon's dominant power over the World Wrestling Federation as of late. We are reminded of the two contenders match in which took place on RAW is WAR, as The Undertaker defeated Kane by disqualification, and The Rock beat Rikishi. But also now, Steve Austin will have an opportunity to get in on The Rock and The Undertaker's match tonight on SmackDown! The winner of tonight's match will go to Royal Rumble to face Kurt Angle for the WWF Championship! (A*) - The opening video package aired to kick off WWF SmackDown this week, as we go to the live arena, as pyrotechnics go off throughout the arena, and Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler introduce us to the first edition of SmackDown, here in 2001! Cole and King discuss the matches for tonight, scheduled to feature Stone Cold Steve Austin in a championship chase qualifying match, and culd possibly join The Rock and The Undertaker in their main event bout, tonight! Also, Rikishi will battle Chris Jericho, and WWF Champion, Kurt Angle is anticipated to be in the arena! (A*) - The theme of Stone Cold Steve Austin played throughout the arena, as the audience began to pop loudly, as the 'Texas Rattlesnake' began to march down the rampway in ring attire and climb into the ring, taking a microphone from Tony Chimel, and raising his fists in the air at the capacity crowd in San Antonio! Austin stalls a little, as the audience chant his name over and over, as Steve says it has been an extremely long period of time, and he thinks on behalf of everybody that tonight is where old Stone Cold gets on the road to the World Wrestling Federation Championship! The crowd pop, as Austin rants, saying that if he doesn't get a shot at the WWF Championship, he will just have to terrorize Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, if people want that then they should give him a 'Hell Yeah'! Stephanie McMahon then walked out to the entrance ramp to boos, as McMahon began to talk about how she will give Austin ONE chance, but his opposition will be tough. And if Austin qualifies into the match, then she will put somebody else in there to even things up...She is adding Kane to the main event! Austin nods, saying that he doesn't give a crap about Kane, telling Steph to bring out his opponent for tonight! McMahon smiles evilly, saying it won't be an opponent...more like two... (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 1 ]- Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Mideon and Viscera in a handicap match in 5:34 after Austin pinned Mideon This was a solid opening contest, as it pitted Stone Cold Steve Austin in a last minute opportunity, facing two of the baddest and biggest men in the WWF today, Mideon and Viscera. This was their in-ring return to the World Wrestling Federation, as Viscera started off with Austin. Austin tried to bite into Viscera quickly, trying to kick and punch away at the large torso of Viscera. Viscera maaged to battle back, however, as Austin was worked over by both Viscera and Mideon, both men going after the ribs, Viscera landing a Big Splash on Austin for a near fall! Austin eventually fought back, took Viscera out, through the ropes and delivered a Stunner to Mideon for the win! (B+) - Stone Cold Steve Austin celebrated his victory, as the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle was shown, watching a television monitor in the backstage area! Angle acts smugly, saying that he won't be going to face him for the title, no chance in hell. Angle walks away at this point! (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 2 ]- Too Cool defeated Right to Censor in 5:49 after Bull Buchanan was disqualified fighting Grandmaster Sexay This was a fair match-up here, as it contested the two members of Too Cool, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay against Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather. Scotty 2 Hotty and Goodfather started things off, as Goodfather pounded away at the abdomen of Scotty, but the smaller Too Cool member with the bleached spikey hair managed to run away at Goodfather, using the hit-and-run strategy before tagging in Grandmaster Sexay. He then came in and used a similar method against Goodfather, before Buchanan got the tag. Bull tried to go for a powerbomb, but Scotty assisted his partner, as both Too Cool took Buchanan down. Buchanan eventually pulled out a steel chair, as he slammed a steel chair over the skull of Sexay in front of the referee! (C) - Steven Richards and Val joined Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather in the ring, as Buchanan and Goodfather tossed Scotty 2 Hotty to the outside! Val nailed an inverted powerbomb on Grandmaster Sexay, as Buchanan and Goodfather collected a table! That's when the Dudley Boyz ran down the rampway, climbing into the ring and taking down Val and Steven Richards in similar happenings as RAW is WAR, Monday! Buchanan then took Bubba Ray down with a bicycle kick! The crowd booed, as D-Von was tossed out of the ring, Val getting to the top rope! Val put Bubba Ray through the table with the Money Shot! (C-) - We go to the backstage area, as Jonathan Coachman is standing by with Rikishi, Rikishi is asked about his match on RAW is WAR, as Rikishi says that he could of won that match, but The Rock is so egomaniacal that he just had to be a showman and push his cousin back. Rikishi tells us that he will get his anger out of Chris Jericho tonight on SmackDown! (B) - We go to the parking lot, as Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are shown walking along the tarmac. They discuss last Monday, vowing to forget about what happened and move on. Guerrero agrees, as they begin to prepare for their contest tonight against the Hardy Boyz. (B+) - We go to the office of Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, as she is in the middle of a call when the British Bulldog walks in! Stephanie puts the phone down midcall, as she says it has been a long time. Bulldog agrees, a grin on his face. McMahon asks what Bulldog wants, as Bulldog demands a match-up with the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle tonight! The crowd pop, as Stephanie says that she's reluctant to give him the match, but Bulldog picks up a nearby trash can and says that he can make deja vu happen . Stephanie gets up in fear, saying he's got the match! Bulldog drops the can, smiling and saying he wasn't really going to hit her. (C) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 3 ]- The Hardy Boyz defeated Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero in 10:46 after Jeff Hardy pinned Eddie Guerrero This was a great back-and-forth match here, between two teams in the World Wrestling Federation. The winning team of these two would go to the Royal Rumble to face Edge and Christian, as Chris Benoit, the WWF Intercontinental Champion started things off in the ring against Matt Hardy. Matt and Benoit grappled for a little while, as Benoit chops away at Matt. Hardy got worked over, Benoit tagging in Eddie Guerrero and the duo double-teaming Matt, targeting the neck area of Matt. Lita watched on from ringside, as Jeff Hardy kept reaching out for a tag. He finally got it, as he came into the ring, taking both Benoit and Guerrero out with dropkicks! Matt nailed the Twist of Fate on Guerrero, as Jeff Hardy removed his shirt and went to the top rope! Benoit stood in the ring and looked like he was going to attack Jeff midpoint, but just stood there! He shrugged as Jeff nailed the Swanton Bomb before covering Guerrero for the win! (B) - The Hardy Boyz began to celebrate, as Jeff and Matt taunted, beginning to make their way up the rampway in celebration! Chris Benoit collected his WWF Intercontinental Championship, leaving the ringand going to the timekeeper's table. That's when Eddie Guerrero dived over the top rope with a suicide dive! He brawled with Benoit, delivering numerous shots to Benoit, as the audience cheered Eddie on! (B) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 4 ]- Kurt Angle defeated The British Bulldog in a non-title match in 7:56 This was a fairly decent first-hour main event for SmackDown this week, as it featured the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle battle the man that returned to the World Wrestling Federation last Monday night on RAW, British Bulldog. Angle seemed to be trying a wise and sneaky from-behind tactic on Bulldog, but the British powerhouse wouldn't have any of it, overpowering the WWF Champion and throwing him around with a picture-perfect gorilla press slam among other moves! Bulldog nailed the Running Powerslam, but Angle did indeed manage to get his foot on the bottom rope at the last second! Angle went to work at the ankle of Bulldog following an attempted run reversed into a Belly-to-belly overhead suplex, stomping away at the ankle of the Bulldog. Bulldog got in one last gasp of momentum, but Angle eventually ducked a clothesline attempt by Bulldog, as the Angle Slam got the win for the WWF Champion! (B) - Kurt Angle rolled out of the ring in celebration, grabbing his WWF Championship and comically getting a piggy back ride from official, Mike Sparks, heading up the rampway! Angle says that nobody in tonight's fatal-four-way match has anything on the WWF Champion, before leaving. (A) - We go to the backstage area, as Kevin Kelly is standing outside of The Rock's locker room, as Rock walks out to an outrageous response from the capacity crowd! 'Rocky' chants are heard, as Rock says 'Finally...The Rock has come back to San Antonio'! Rock says that tonight, he has advanced into a one-way ticket to a shot for Kurt "the pencil-necked geek" Angle's WWF Championship. He goes through each member of tonight's fatal-four-way contenders match, disrespecting The Undertaker for being a red-headed hick that has gone through a spontaneous personality change in the last eight months. Rock calls Kane a big, angry crip who only wants to burn people, before saying that Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the more worthy adversaries of his, but Austin will not get in his way, or his bald head will be splattered throughout his home state. "If You Smell what The Rock is cookin'"! (A*) - Raven outlasted Al Snow to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship in 2:51 This was a fairly decent match here, for the WWF Hardcore Championship in another open challenge match set by the WWF Hardcore Champion, Raven against Al Snow. Snow battled with a stop sign and a trash can, as he slammed both over Raven's cranium in an effort to attempt to win the title, but was unable to on every attempt. Raven fired back, pulling out a singapore cane and repeatedly striking Al Snow in the spine and forehead region. Hardcore Holly eventually ran out, as he took Raven down with a shot to the head with a trash can lid, before beating away at Al Snow. Steve Blackman joined in with the match, as he ran down the ring also, trading blows with Holly! Raven meanwhile rushed through the crowd, escaping! (C+) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 4 ]- The theme of the Right to Censor plays throughout the arena, as the audience immediately boo the annoying entrance theme of the RTC. Steven Richards and the WWF Womens Champion, Ivory walk out, as they climb into the ring, Richards doing all of the talking in there. He says that there are disgusting scum out there that will do anything and try and deface the positive society in the world today, and the Right to Censor formed to fix these problems. A controversial happening took place recently, however, as three weeks ago on RAW is WAR, the RTC eliminated Chyna from in-ring competition, injuring her neck severely. Ivory takes the mic, saying that she will NOT apologize for what happened. She says that Chyna would never change her personality no matter what happened, and something drastic had to be done to finally fix this issue. Ivory dares Chyna to come out of her semi-paralyzed state and meet her in the ring on January 21st at the Royal Rumble, as she's willling to put the WWF Womens Championship on the line! (C) - We go to a dark part of the backstage area, as Jonathan Coachman goes to interview Kane before his contendership four-way match tonight. Kane just breathes heavily, gently pushing Coach away. He seems focused for tonight. (B+) - We see The Undertaker sat on his motorcycle, as he seems ready to go for action in the fatal-four way contenders match later on tonight! Kevin Kelly catches up with 'Taker, asking him on his thoughts about the match for tonight, Taker saying that he has not forgotten what Kane did to him last Monday night on RAW, and he refuses to forget until he gets retribution tonight! (A*) - We cut to the medical room, as the trainer, Chris is seated, as Stone Cold Steve Austin is seated on the bed, in ring attire, but with bandaged ribs. He still seems focused for tonight's four-way match though! (A*) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 5 ]- Chris Jericho defeated Rikishi in 7:55 This was a fairly interesting match here, as it featured the 'Bad Man', Rikishi take on the smaller yet more gifted and talented 'Y2J', Chris Jericho. Jericho and Rikishi traded blows in the opening moments of the bout, but Jericho managed to get in some effective moves to slightly harm the larger Rikishi. Rikishi wore tights for this match, suprisingly enough. Jericho nailed a step-up enziguri, however, as he also managed to give him some harsh kicks and chops. Rikishi then started to gain momentum, nailing a big Samoan Drop! Rikishi went after the ribs of Jericho, hitting the Rikishi Driver, but Jericho didn't get put away that easily! Rikishi set up for the Banzai Drop, but Jericho got back to his feet, dragged Rikishi from the second turnbuckle and hooked both legs for the win! (C+) - Chris Jericho fleed from the ring quickly, as Rikishi sat up, having kicked Jericho away after being counted down! Chris Jericho, Y2J celebrated his victory on the rampway, as Rikishi got to his feet, arguing with the referee. That's when Rikishi grabbed Mike Chioda by the head and knocked him out with a big right hand! (B) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 6 ]- Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kane, The Undertaker and The Rock in a fatal-4-way match in 9:46 after Austin pinned Kane This was a phenomenal main event here, as it featured fur of the biggest stars today in the World Wrestling Federation, all four battling it out for a shot at the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle come the Royal Rumble on Sunday 21st January, 2001. Numerous times during this match, we cut to the backstage area, as Kurt Angle was shown spectating this match from a television monitor. Kane and The Undertaker seemingly wanted to kill each other, but Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock always cut them off, Autin and Rock going after Kane and Undertaker in some variation. The Rock was given a clothesline to the outside, as 'Taker followed him out! Both of those two men battling around ringside, Rock clocking Taker with the ring bell, as their brawl escalated into the crowd, as they ended up fighting through to the backstage area! Kane meanwhile had some trouble keeping Austin down, going after the ribs, but Austin kept getting in shots back in on the 'Big Red Machine'! Austin delivered a Stunner to Kane, as Stephanie McMahon climbed into the ring, pulling Austin away from Kane! Austin didn't hesitate, as he delivered the Billion Dollar Princess with a Stunner! Kane sat up, going after Austin, but Austin delivered another Stunner to Kane! Austin hooked the leg for the win! (A*) - Stone Cold Steve Austin celebrated his spectacular victory over Kane, as Kurt Angle, the WWF Champion came to ringside, helping the semi-conscious Stephanie McMahon to her feet following the Stunner. Austin stood on the turnbuckle and stared Austin down as SmackDown went off the air! (A*) Quick Results - Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Mideon and Viscera (B+) - Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay defeated The Goodfather and Bull Buchanan (C) - Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy defeated Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero (B) - Kurt Angle defeated The British Bulldog (B) - Raven outlasted Al Snow to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship; Hardcore Holly and Steve Blackman got involved (C+) - Chris Jericho defeated Rikishi (C+) - Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kane, The Rock and The Undetaker (A*)

The opening segment with Austin and Stephanie was great and realistic. I was surprised to see Austin taking on Mideon and Viscera get a B+ rating as that seems a little high. Austin qualifying makes sense and was a good choice. Decent tag match to settle down the crowd from Steve Austin. I hope RTC disbands soon as they really just don’t do to much. I like RTC regrouping after the match and beating up Too Cool. The Dudley Boyz making the save was cool, but nothing great. Decent Rikishi segment and it made him seem pretty serious which is nice. Chris Beniot and Eddie Guerrero taking on Matt and Jeff Hardy should be a great contest. I like The British Bulldog getting a match against Kurt Angle and I love how you referred to the past. I hope you push Bulldog as a serious competitor and I think he could make a great WWF Federation champion down the road. I was surprised to see the tag match of Jeff and Matt Hardy versus Chris Beniot and Eddie Guerrero only get a B rating, but it must be because they are not super over. The match itself sounded great and the ending was terrific. I wonder why Chris Beniot is being an arrogant punk and ditching his friend Eddie Guerrero, I hope that gets explained. I loved Eddie attacking Chris Beniot after the match, which was a good call. Kurt Angle versus British Bulldog sounded like another great match and I think that is a great way to end the first hour of Smackdown. Kurt Angle winning makes sense as he can not lose his momentum, but I hope this isn’t the end for The bulldog either. Terrific Rock promo! Well written and got a good point across. Raven retaining his title is nice, but I hope that eventually the hardcore title becomes a tad more serious. I like Ivory challenging the injured Chyna to a match at the Royal Rumble, but I hope you play out her injury storyline a little bit longer. Kane’s promo was decent, him saying nothing in actuality says so much. The Undertaker promo was terrific, so simple and effective. Chris Jericho versus Rikishi was a decent match, but nothing special. Jericho winning was the right decision as Jericho has so much potential. I thought the main event would go a little longer, but I can deal with it being less than 10 minutes. I like Austin winning, but I hope Kurt Angle holds on to the title. Austin doesn’t need the title and I think Angle makes a great champion. “Austin stood on the turnbuckle and stared Austin down as SmackDown went off the air!” That was an interesting way to close off the show haha. Overall, an amazing show man.

The shows honestly still feel way too long. Opening segment there was fine. Pretty good opening match, Austin winning was the right call. But not an ideal way to bring back two guys to have them job off the bat like that. Wonder what's up with RTC using chairs as of late. Liked the Bulldog/Steph segment a lot, and Bulldog/Angle is a nice match. Eddie/Benoit feud should be interesting, not sure how long it can drag out for though. Angle winning was the obvious call there. Realistic again for the hardcore title there. Jericho/Rikishi was another solid match. Surprised Austin won the main event as I thought him getting a title shot would maybe be put off, but I won't complain. Good show, just too long and detailed in my opinion for the Sims board.

I have a feeling this diary is going to be extremely epic. The write ups are extremely detailed. I'll go ahead and give my thoughts on Smackdown!
Heres to hoping that whoever wins that triple threat match gets beaten by Angle at the Rumble. Ah, Austin winning was predictable, but good to see Viscera & Mideon back on WWF television definitely! Interesting to see Buchanan get disqualified for using the chair. Didn't see that one coming. Dudleyz fail save is also intriguing. Wonder if RTC will get the belts! Yawn Rikishi promo. Haha nice Bulldog reference there and Smith/Angle should be amazing! Benoit turn is a little too predictable from the segment before. Shame that Bulldog lost, but it seemed like a great match. Angle piggyback ride is hilarious! Typical Rock promo and a nice Hardcore championship bout man! Excellent to see Jericho STILL beating the 'Bad Man' Rikishi. I hope Kishi goes on a massive losing streak. I kinda figured Austin would take the win, excellent way to end SD! Great job man!
