Format is excellent and there is a great roster. I am not sure if I am dumb, or if this is a type but you have 'Death Before Dishonor Night Two' on two different days.

ROH NewswireJune 1st: Those in attendance on Saturday night in Philly saw chaos erupt as Eddie Kingston was able to get his hands on Chris Hero. Kingston has talked about his desires to hurt Hero on recent ROH Videowires, and the two battered one another throughout the Arena. There is no doubt that Kingston is bloodthirsty for Hero, while Hero has stated time and time again that the “last of a dying breed” is beneath him. Chris Hero will be in action against Grizzly Redwood on this weekend’s ‘Ring of Honor Wrestling’. Will Eddie Kingston make an appearance? June 1st: The American Wolves put El Generico’s knee to the test in Philadephia, and it isn’t looking good for the generic luchador. As a result El Generico will not be able to get medical clearance to appear on the 12th and the 13th to wrestle Kenny King & Rhett Titus and The American Wolves respectively. Kevin Steen has been asked to find a replacement, and on the 12th and the 13th Kevin Steen will team with none other than Colt ‘Boom Boom’ Cabana. June 1st: Already signed for Detroit on the 26th is a ROH World Tag Team Championship match which will see Bryan Danielson attempt to finally win the ROH World Tag Team titles. Danielson will have to find a partner for the event if he is to challenge the winner of The American Wolves vs. Kevin Steen & Colt Cabana match on the 13th. June 3rd: Erick Stevens has been cited by a number of Ring of Honor wrestlers as the one to watch in 2009. So far Stevens has shown exactly why he is such a big threat to the rest of the Ring of Honor roster, but has yet to get his hands on any ROH gold. That could all change in Manassas as Erick Stevens challenges whoever is the Ring of Honor World Champion for the Ring of Honor World Championship. Can Stevens pull off the biggest win of his career? June 4th: This weekends ‘Ring of Honor Wrestling’ promises to be the biggest yet, as for the first time on National TV the ROH World Championship will be on the line. Jerry Lynn will put the title on the line in a four way elimination match against Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries and Tyler Black. All of the challengers have proven themselves to be capable of putting on top quality matches, but will any of them be able to take the strap off of Jerry Lynn? June 4th: Also featuring on this weekend’s ‘Ring of Honor Wrestling’ is a tag team match featuring two of the hottest prospects in Ring of Honor – Kenny King & Rhett Titus, collectively known as The YRR (Young, Rich & Ready for Action). These two will face off against Jimmy Rave & Ernie Osiris, two members of the New Embassy. Which of these two cocky teams will come out on top? June 5th: The Age of the Fall seem to be falling apart. Having lost multiple members and showing no signs of being on the same page is there any way that Jimmy Jacobs can salvage his formerly dominant group? Jacobs has stated that he intends to do just that on the 12th when Jimmy Jacobs goes one on one with Brent Albright. What ace does Jimmy Jacobs have tucked up his sleeve for this match? June 5th: One man who will be looking forward to the 13th is Bison Smith. In Manhattan Bison Smith will get a shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship against whoever is the champion entering Manhattan. With the New Embassy behind him Smith cant be underestimated, and could very well be the ROH World Champion when Ring of Honor leaves Manhattan on the 13th.

Cool to see ROH diaries here, does this mean that Indy thing is off? I agree with Hammers build up either Black or Jacobs to take the belt, don't like Colt being Steens partner as he's occasionally with Albright and thier pretty fun, wonder who Amdrag will pick, don't like Stevens but I know you won't give him the title, Only now I noticed you've gone back a few weeks, I don't think King and titus use the YRR name anymore I could be wrong though, not sure about heel teams facing off, please push Jacobs and Albright bring in someone to be in the AoftF, hate Bison getting the title shot, good luck and bring in Up in Smoke more often.

Presents Ring of Honor Wrestling06/06/2009
- Dave Prazak and Mike Hogenwood kick off the show with the usual run down off the card. They heavily plug the main event in which the ROH World Championship will be put on the line in a Four Way Elimination Match. They then introduced the first of tonight’s matches. 1) Chris Hero defeated Grizzly Redwood in 7:55 with a Hero’s Welcome. A decent opening match for tonight’s show which pitted the ‘Young Knockout Kid’ Chris Hero against the young Grizzy Redwood. There was definitely something off about Redwood during this match; he just didn’t seem to be focused. Hero had firm control throughout the match, while Redwood got in periods of good offence, including almost picking up the win with a surprise roll up. Hero wasn’t having it however, and eventually connected with the Hero’s Welcome for the victory. - Following the match Chris Hero starts talking about how Eddie Kingston wasn’t man enough to accept an offer from Ring of Honor to face him, so nobody will be seeing Eddie Kingston in a ROH ring anytime soon. Hero goes on to say that this just goes to show that he is the best that Ring of Honor has to offer, and that until he gets his hands on the ROH World Championship, everybody is going to know how it feels to be knocked out. - A spotlight video airs, highlighting the team of Kenny King & Rhett Titus. Prazak and Hogenwood promote Ring of Honor’s tag team division, and follow this with a plug that the young duo will be in action next. 2) Kenny King & Rhett Titus defeated Jimmy Rave and Ernie Osiris with Prince Nana in 7:43 when Kenny King defeated Ernie Osiris with The Coronation. A good tag team match, that may have been given too much time for a heel vs. heel match. All four men looked good in the ring, but King was definitely the standout, and there could be a singles push in his future. The match was very back and forth, with several near falls, but in the end King connected with The Coronation, completely taking Osiris out of the match and giving King & Titus the win. - Ring of Honor wrestling cuts backstage to Kyle Durden alongside The Embassy members Prince Nana and Bison Smith. Prince Nana talks about how recently there have been two major thorns in the side of The Embassy, those being Brent Albright and Colt Cabana. Nana goes on to say that tonight Bison Smith will put a stop to Cabana’s meddling, and that Brent Albright won’t be far behind, because nobody can stand up to the future Ring of Honor World Champion, Bison Smith. 3) Bison Smith with Prince Nana defeated Colt Cabana in 13:57 with a Bisontenial. The crowd were firmly behind Colt Cabana during this match, cheering him whenever he hit a move and booing Bison Smith throughout the match. There were some comedic exchanges between Cabana and Prince Nana, who was at ringside, but this just allowed Smith time to recover from any offence that Cabana got in. The match was very back and forth, with both men displaying some of their best offence, and it could have gone either way, but in the end Cabana ran the ropes aiming for the Running Lariat, only for Prince Nana to trip him. This allowed Bison the chance to connect with the Bisontenial for the win. - Ring of Honor Wrestling cuts backstage to the site of Ring of Honor interviewer Kyle Durden standing by with the Ring of Honor World Champion Jerry Lynn. Durden asks about how he feels ahead of the four way elimination match. Jerry Lynn states that in a matter of moments he faces three of the top contenders to his World Championship, and that while it may be his toughest challenge yet he still knows that he has what it takes to beat them, and retain his ROH World Championship. - A short spotlight video airs highlighting all four men involved in the Four Way Elimination main event. Dave Prazak and Mike Hogenwood promote the skills of these four men, claiming that this will be the hardest challenge of Jerry Lynn’s title reign. 4) Four Way Elimination Match for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship – Jerry Lynn defeated Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries and Tyler Black in 18:31. This was easily the match of the night, and it could have gone on a lot longer if it was not down to time restraints. All four men came out of this looking strong, and any one of them could have picked up the win here. The match was hectic four the first ten minutes, with all four men throwing everything they had at their opponents. The first elimination came at the ten minute mark when Austin Aries connected with the 450 splash on Tyler Black following a Dragon Suplex from Bryan Danielson. The remaining three continued to go at it with everything they got, but Danielson managed to lock in a Guillotine Choke on Aries. Aries attempted to hold on, but in the end had no choice to tap out. With just Bryan Danielson and Jerry Lynn left it became about which man could withstand the most punishment, with both men kicking out of their opponents finisher. There was a series of counters, and in the end Lynn countered a Dragon Suplex and connected with the Tornado DDT. He followed up with the Cradle Piledriver and got the pinfall to retain the title. 6th Defense.

I like Dave Prazak and Mike Hogenwood plugging the main event. The opening solid was great and I am pleased to see Hero pick up the victory. I like Hero cutting the post match promo and digging into Eddie Kingston as well as telling all of ROH there is danger until he gets the title. The tag match sounded pretty good expect heel versus heel is not too great. Prince Nana’s promo was good. I am happy to see Bison Smith pick up the win after some interference. Nice Jerry Lynn promo. The main event sounded amazing and I am pumped to see Jerry Lynn retain his title. Overall, a good show with a crisp format.

Seemed like the right way to kick off Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet there, with Chris Hero picking up the win over Grizzly Redwood. Like that the bout went to the eight minute mark, as it means Redwood had offense. Not really fond of Grizzly, though. Nice promo by Hero, I hope he gets a push to the ROH World Championship in time. A match with Eddie Kingston along the way would be decent. Kenny King and Rhett Titus beating Jimmy Rave and Ernie Osiris is fine, not really a fan of Osiris, but glad King and Titus are getting somewhere. Hmm, don't like Bison Smith beating Colt Cabana, hopefully Cabana will find his way back up the card, here in ROH. Solid four-man elimination match for the ROH Championship to headline the show, but really think this was the best time to take the title off of Jerry Lynn. I think Lynn is a grand performer, but not as great as a World Champion, reckon Austin Aries or Tyler Black should of picked up the title here. Nontheless, solid edition.

the Manassas, VA show looks fun. Can't see Jerry Lynn losing the title to Stevens. Hope Jacobs goes over Albright, hope Delirious gets the win. Same for Richards, Danielson and Hero. The other matches I don't mind the result.
Looking forward to this going far, Dale.

Presents ROH Contention Manassas, VA06/06/2009
1) Chris Hero defeated Alex Payne in 8:09 via submission with a Hangman’s Clutch. A decent match to kick of tonight’s action but there was a definite lack of chemistry between these two which slightly let down the match despite a flawless performance by Chris Hero. Payne got a lot of offence in during this match, and it was a surprise to see this go on as long as it did, but it was Chris Hero who would pick up yet another win following the Hangman’s Clutch. - Following the match Alex Payne slowly gets to his feet, only to be met by a vicious Rolling Elbow from Chris Hero that lays Alex Payne out. Chris Hero leaves the ring while the referee checks on a now knocked out Alex Payne. 2) Kevin Steen & Colt Cabana defeated Kenny King & Rhett Titus in 12:34 when Kevin Steen used a Package Piledriver on Rhett Titus. Ahead of their ROH Tag Team Championship match tomorrow night Steen & Cabana came into this match determined to pick up some momentum. Cabana really added a comedic element to an otherwise hard hitting match which was dominated by exchanges between Kevin Steen and Kenny King, both of whom showed some impressive skills. All four men got in their fair share of ring time, and the match was kept fairly even until the very end when Kevin Steen connected with the Package Piledriver to pick up the win. 3) Bryan Danielson defeated Eddie Edwards in 18:50 via submission with an Arms Across America. Ahead of Bryan Danielson and Jay Briscoe’s ROH Tag Team Championship match at the end of the month Danielson clashed with one half of the American Wolves here in Manassas. This match was promoted as the sleeper match of the night, and while it was definitely a solid technical showcase these two men just didn’t seem to click in the ring, which dragged things down a little bit. These two were given plenty of time to piece together a solid match, and despite their apparent lack of chemistry they still put together a good match for the crowd which could have gone either way. Danielson ended up getting the win via submission to pick up momentum ahead of his tag title shot later this month. - Before his match Delirious grabs a microphone from ringside and starts screaming down the microphone, not making any sense at all. The few words that do sound human included ‘violence’, ‘retribution’ and ‘Jimmy Jacobs’. Delirious throws the microphone to the outside of the ring as Brodie Lee makes his way to the ring. It really looks like Delirious is cracking up more than usual here tonight. 4) No Disqualification Match – Brodie Lee defeated Delirious in 14:48 with a Big Brodie Boot following interference from Hallowicked. This match was just brutal, and if it was brutal to watch then it had to be brutal on the bodies of Brodie Lee and Delirious, who put their bodies through hell in this match to entertain. The No Disqualification rule came into play early on, with the match heading out of the ring and weapons being used. These two men used anything they could get their hands on, from steel chairs, iron pipes and camera wires all the way down to tacks. Eventually Delirious brought out a table wrapped with barbed wire and prepared to put Lee through it with a Brainbuster only to be attacked from behind by the masked man known as Hallowicked. This attack allowed Brodie Lee to connect with the Big Brodie Boot and get the pinfall for the win. - Following the match Brodie Lee and Hallowicked work together to pick Delirious up, before Brodie Lee puts Delirious through the barbed wire wrapped table, that Delirious himself had set up, with a vicious spinebuster type move. Brodie Lee and Hallowicked walked backstage as medics attempted to pry a screaming and bloody Delirious from the barbed wire table. 5) Necro Butcher & Roderick Strong defeated Claudio Castagnoli & Jimmy Rave with Prince Nana in 17:01 when Necro Butcher used the Asiatic Spike on Jimmy Rave. The war between the Embassy and members of the Ring of Honor roster continued here as Necro Butcher and Roderick Strong combined their strength to clash with the leading star of the Embassy, Jimmy Rave, and it’s associate Claudio Castagnoli. Necro Butcher and Roderick Strong seemed to have some problems early on working together, but that soon evaporated when the match really got heated as both men focused on the Embassy, hitting them hard with furious strikes. Strong and Castagnoli had some technical wrestling showcases at times, which provided the highlight of the match, and in the end Necro Butcher delivered the Asiatic Spike to an already groggy Jimmy Rave to get the pinfall and give his team the win. - Following the match Bison Smith & Ernie Osiris charge the ring and attack Necro Butcher and Roderick Strong, with Claudio Castagnoli and Jimmy Rave quickly joining in the assault, with Prince Nana shouting directions. Before the four on one assault gets out of hand Brent Albright charges the ring with a steel chair and runs off the Embassy. Brent Albright demands a microphone, and states that he is going to put an end to the Embassy, even if he has to defeat every single one of them one by one. 6) Davey Richards defeated Jay Briscoe in 17:13 with a Shooting Star Press. This was easily the best match of tonight’s entire show. As soon as these two got in the ring the atmosphere in the arena show seemed to explode and everything just seemed to click into place. With Jay Briscoe’s make shift partner Bryan Danielson already holding a victory over the other half of the American Wolves this match saw Davey Richards attempting to gain back some momentum. The crowd were split at times during this match, as both men put on superb performances, giving it everything they could to attempt to get the victory. It was clear that the live audience wanted action, and these two gave them plenty of it with some stiff striking and excellent technical wrestling throughout this match. The ending stretch saw the traditional big moves pulled out by both men but when Jay Briscoe went for the Crucible Davey Richards managed to reverse it, and connected with the DR Driver. Davey Richards followed this up with the Shooting Star Press and got the pinfall, picking up the win here tonight in Manassas. 7) Jimmy Jacobs with MsChif defeated Brent Albright in 19:08 by submission with an End Time after interference from BJ Whitmer. Now this was a stiff fight. There was no love lost between these two men as they squared up for a big match that will certainly be used to determine the rankings in the Heavyweight division, and following Brent Albright’s promo earlier in the night he was already fired up, taking the fight to Jimmy Jacobs early on in this match. Jacobs seemed to be caught completely off guard but soon managed to fight back with a little help from MsChif at ringside. Albright and Jacobs fought a really stiff match, taking the fight to the outside more than once and using the security barricade to their advantage. There was absolutely no respect shown by either man during this match and that just made it all the more exciting as the two threw everything they had at each other, including multiple signature manoeuvres. Everyone thought it was over when Albright connected with the Half Nelson Suplex on the outside of the ring, but Jacobs managed to carry on the match. The ending stretch saw a bizarre sequence of events as MsChif distracted the referee as Albright locked in the Crowbar submission hold, only for BJ Whitmer to make his shock return and attack Albright, nailing him with a massive boot to the skull, followed by an Adrenaline Spike. Whitmer left the ring and Jacobs quickly locked in the End Time. With Brent Albright out cold following BJ Whitmer’s attack the referee had no choice but to call an end to the match and award the win to Jimmy Jacobs. - Following the match Jimmy Jacobs demands a microphone, and is soon joined in the ring by MsChif, Brodie Lee as well as BJ Whitmer and Hallowicked, who both made shock appearances tonight to help the Age of the Fall. Jimmy Jacobs explains that he warned everyone that the Age of the Fall cannot be stopped, and that their personal revolution will continue here in Ring of Honor. Jacobs continues on to say that two new disciples have joined his cause, signalling to Hallowicked and Whitmer, and that with their presence here in Ring of Honor there will be nobody to stop the Age of the Fall, whether they attempt to or not. The Age of the Fall leave the ring and head backstage, receiving a massive amount of heel heat in the process. 8) ROH World Heavyweight Championship Match – Jerry Lynn defeated Erick Stevens in 22:46 with a Cradle Piledriver. The main event here in Manassas saw the Ring of Honor World Champion Jerry Lynn square off against Erick Stevens, who is quickly rising through the ranks of ROH. That was pretty much proven here tonight as he really took the fight to Jerry Lynn, pushing him to his very limits and very nearly ripping the ROH World Championship away from Lynn. Stevens came into this match on fire and continued his hot streak by putting on an excellent match with Jerry Lynn, exchanging some great technical wrestling holds during the opening minutes before the match became increasingly fast paced and intense. Jerry Lynn continued to impress during this match, taking everything Erick Stevens threw at him, and there was a lot of throwing going on by Stevens throughout, and fighting back with determination. One has to say that the reason Jerry Lynn is looking so impressive recently is that he understands this is likely his last big run in a major promotion, so he’s giving it everything he’s got and impressing everybody in the process. Stevens on the other hand is a young talent that could be headlining big shows down the line, so to see these two clash was certainly a sight. However there could only be one winner, and that winner was Jerry Lynn, who managed to connect with a Cradle Piledriver, laying out Erick Stevens and giving the champion the pinfall and a successful defence. Seventh Defence.
