.. and how some just don't?
In my figure universe.. Miz was NWA Champion (the Indy version of the NWA) and it made him seem like a totally legit main event guy, albeit on the indy circuit. Likewise, my brother has Shad Gaspard over enough in ECW that while he may not be a believable champion, I could see him main eventing a PPV challenging for the belt.
All in all though, do you ever notice that someone can get "over" with by accident, just like what can happen in real life, or is that unique to my brother and I, due to the fact that we are at least both present when doing PPVs?

I find I gave John Morrison the belt after a goosd build up but he just seems to lack something compared to the former champion Batista. I think it's ability to work well with everyone and be diverse enough to have constant main event fueds
J.R accidently got over as champion once, and was very good at it too so I just ran with it! It was only supposed to be a squash type ladder match for the heel champ DDP to get more heat, but hey, it worked!

I just think it's weird how even though I can like someone, his push may not work out, hence he doesn't get over.. just strange.. wondered if that was just me, or if other people have seen that before?

I had CM Punk retire Shawn Michaels and beat stars like Triple H, Samoa Joe and Edge in the span of five months, his reign still seemed lackluster.

Miz got over pretty well for me too, in my indy fed of NWA, and for my brother in ECW. Course, he's also got Charlie Haas over as a believable ECW Champion..

I had people loving Rob Conway in SLAM Wrestling, so yes, it is strange how some wrestlers get over haha.

I have a tendency to push wrestlers from established tag teams. Like The Barbarian was my hrdcore champ for a while and now B. Brian Blair is holding the European championship.
Sometimes things work out that way.

In my fed Kenny Dyksta is so over he could basically accomplish anything and I wouldn't be suprised!

It has taken me years to find a way to get Charlie Haas over without Shelton being in the picture.but I finally managed to get him positioned where I wanted him on ecw. On the other hand I totally had a fluke on my hands with Gregory helms on smackdown. Although he was never wwe champion he kind of became the most un-pinnable heel on the brand for close to a year.
