I have never really been a huge MMA fan. I mean I have always really been aware of it's existance and what not but I've always been a bigger fan of wrestling. I had only ever ordered one UFC PPV and that was the one after the first Ultimate Fighter and I thought it was a pretty satisfying experience though it was the first time I had ever ordered a PPV that had the main card end well before the PPV was supposed to end. Coming from entirely just watching Wrestling it was quite a shock and it turned me off of it for a while. But then Lesnar came in and as a wrestling mark I was intrigued to see how he would fare in the UFC and so far he's done pretty well for himself. But this is trailing off. Since Lesnar joined I have found myself growing slowly more interested in the whole UFC thing. I ordered UFC 100, I have bought the UFC game, and I have bought the UFC Best of 2008 DVD. Now it's incredibly "noobish" to say but I find myself wanting more. I mean I really wanna watch some damn good fights. I find myself liking the guys that I have heard mentioned here countless times. Guys like Anderson Silva, GSP, Lesnar, other people such as that. What I am calling on you the UFC fans to do is to share with me what are some of your personal favorite fights. Alongside that I would also like you to share with me some of the best fights you can think of that a newer MMA fan would find incredibly interesting and get them hooked. I definitely look forward to getting responses. I'm never really going to claim myself an expert on the subject but it is definitely a sport I find myself wanting to absorb more knowledge in. Thanks for your time mi amigos

If I were you I would familiarize myself with some of the guys who used to be the big stars of the UFC like Tank, Royce Gracie, Tito Ortiz, Dan Severn, Vitor Belfort, Ken Shamrock, etc. That way you can appreciate how far along the UFC has truly come..
the most entertaining fights I have ever seen are
Rich Franklin vs. Wanderlei Silva Vitor Belfort vs. Tito Ortiz Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida Vitor Belfort vs. Wanderlei Silva Royce Gracie vs. Kimo Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson Rampage vs. Forrest Griffin

also one of my favorites of just a very technical jiu-jitsu match is Damien Maia vs. Jason McDonald. Such an amazing first round.

He puts up a good fight every time he goes out. You could say the same about most of the roster but hardly makes their fights Must Sees which was the point of the post. Really he has a couple of sloppy slugfest kickboxing fights & suddenly he's an exciting fighter? No he's a Herky Jerky midcarder who isn't even a top ten fighter

See, the thing that gets me upset about JG is that he never used his jiu jitsu to his advantage. He always tried to stand up and bang with guys. He never used his strengths, which is why all his fights in the UFC went to a decision. Had he played to his strenths, he'd still probably be under contract and would have a boatload of submission wins under his belt
