CWA Breakdown - Episode #1
Comma Hiatus



The show starts with a highlight video before General Manager, Paul Heyman, makes his way to the ring. About 2,300 sit in the audience. He says that he hopes to make CWA an entertaining, yet story-driven show that grasps everyone’s attention. Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring and says that if he wants someone entertaining, he has to look no further! He says that after he wins the World Championship tonight, he will prove to be the saviour of Cruiserweight Wrestling!

CWA Cruiserweight Championship
Evan Bourne vs. The Brian Kendrick

Amazing match full of high-flying spots. Kendrick hits a cheap shot and starts to beat down on Bourne, but he fights back, hitting a stiff enzuigiri. He tries for the AirBourne SSP, but Kendrick evades it. He follows it up with the Sliced Bread #2 to pick up the win.
Winner: The Brian Kendrick

Backstage, Christian is shown talking to Jeff Hardy. They chat about the match and say neither of them will go easy and that the best man will win. CM Punk interrupts them and says that the best man will definitely win and that they are looking at him! They laugh at him and say that he tries too hard. Punk says that he is not trying, because he doesn’t have to. He says he was a born success, unlike either of them! He says they are talking to the first ever CWA Champion!

CWA Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round One
The HooliganZ vs. The Rising Sun Connection

Great, back-and-forth match. The HooliganZ nearly pick up the win after an overdrive from Kidman. Tajiri breaks it up and the RS Connection throw London from the apron. Kidman puts up a good fight, but they hit him with a double kick to the chin, which allows Tajiri to pick up the win.
Winners: The Rising Sun Connection

AJ Styles has an interview backstage. He says that CWA is providing them with a great chance to show off their skills. Frankie Kazarian interrupts him and says that ‘as usual’, AJ Styles is stealing the spotlight from people like Kazarian. Styles says that if he thinks he’s better, then they can have a match to prove who is better tonight! Paul Heyman walks up smiling. He says that they will have a match tonight ... and next week... and the week after, because it will be a Best of 3 Series!

CWA Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round One
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Pitbulls

Great match. Shelley and Sabin do fantastic work as a team and get several near falls. After a cheap shot, the Pitbulls start to beat down on Sabin. After a few minutes, he makes the hot tag to Shelley. They try to double team him, but Kash accidently kicks Noble out of the ring, which allows Shelley to roll him up for the win.
Winners: The Motor City Machine Gun

They celebrate in the ring, but are attacked by the Rising Sun Connection, who beat them down. Yocrapatsu gets a microphone and says that they are sick of being overlooked just because they are foreigners! He says that they can beat ANY American team put before them, as well as any foreign team, because they are the greatest team ever and are sick of being overlooked!

Best Of Three Series: Match One
AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian

Great match that lasted about 10 minutes. Kazarian tries for the Flux Capacitator, but Styles knocks him off and hits a corkscrew for a two-count. Kazarian fights back after a cheap shot and beats Styles down. Eventually, Styles nails the pele kick out of nowhere. He follows it up with an enzuigiri for the win.
Winner: AJ Styles

Backstage, The Brian Kendrick is walking around with the CWA Cruiserweight Championship, bragging to everyone that he is better than them. Spike Dudley laughs at him and Kendrick gets in his face. Spike doesn’t back down, which prompts Kendrick to slap him in the face. He calls him ungrateful. He turns around and in his face stands Evan Bourne, who challenges him to a rematch. Kendrick says that to get a rematch, next week he’s going to have to beat... ‘The Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels! Evan Bourne turns around and is face-to-face with Daniels, who promises to beat Bourne.

CWA Television Championship
Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Haas vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Joey Mercury

Great match that lasted about 20 minutes. Haas hit the dropkick on Benjamin, knocking him out of the ring. He turns around and Mercury superkicks him for a two-count. Mysterio and Mercury fight it out, but Benjamin tosses them both from the ring. Using it as a distraction, Haas rolls him up for the win.
Winner: Charlie Haas

Haas celebrates. Shelton Benjamin stares at him, disappointed, but realising it was his own fault. Haas smiles at him. Benjamin stands up and extends his hand for Haas to shake. Haas looks at his hand and smiles again before turning and leaving the ring. Benjamin is shocked and offended that Haas didn’t shake his hand. Haas just shrugs and leaves.

CWA World Championship
Chris Jericho vs. Christian Cage vs. Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk

Amazing match. After about five minutes of brawling and warming up, Punk kicks Cage in the back and covers him, but Hardy breaks it up. He hits Punk with the Twist of Fate and climbs to the top rope, looking for the Swanton. Jericho pushes him off to the outside, where he crashes into the fan barrier. Jericho quickly covers Punk, taking Hardy’s win.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Jericho gets the title and celebrates before leaving. The remaining three are left standing around the ring, disappointed. Paul Heyman enters and says that each of the men will get shots at the title, starting with Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy next week.

CWA Breakdown - Episode #2
Tag Tournament Finals




The show starts off as Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. He gets a microphone and says that the incompetent fools in the audience should have believed him when he said he was the greatest superstar in CWA and would win the world title! He says that he has no competition, because the wrestlers are just as lazy as the fans! Jeff Hardy hits the ring to a loud ovation and says that tonight, he will show Jericho that he DOES have competition... and that he won’t know what hit him after Hardy walks away with the title! They exchange words before leaving.

Number One Contenders:
Evan Bourne vs. Christopher Daniels

Great match. Bourne gets in some great moves, but can’t seem to keep The Fallen Angel down. Daniels fights back after a cheap shot, hitting a tigerbomb for a two-count. Bourne evades the BME and dropkicks Daniels to the mat. Bourne climbs to the top rope , looking for the AirBourne SSP, but The Brian Kendrick interferes, pushing him off.
Winner: No Contest

Kendrick beats down on Bourne in the ring and calls him a “disrespectful punk”. Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring and says that next week will feature Kendrick vs. Bourne vs. Daniels in a triple threat match for the CWA Cruiserweight Championship! Kendrick and Daniels stare down briefly before leaving.

Best of Three Series: Match Two
AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian

Great back-and-forth 15 minute match. Kazarian viciously beats down on Styles in the corner, but he fights back with a pele kick and an enzuigiri for a two-count. He gets some momentum, but Kazarian cuts him off with a cheap shot. He tries for the overdrive, but Styles reverses it and takes Kazarian down. He climbs to the top rope, but Kazarian pokes him in the eye before hitting the Flux Capacitator to win.
Winner: Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian celebrates before leaving as the three series is now one win each. The final match is next week on Breakdown! Backstage, Charlie Haas is getting interviewed. He says he hopes to be a great champion. Shelton Benjamin walks up and asks him why he disrespected Benjamin last week. Haas just turns around and says “the interview is over...” before leaving.

CWA Tag Team Championships:
The Rising Sun Connection vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

A lot of great back-and-forth action in this match. The MCMG dominate early, showing how well they work as a team. After a few near falls, The Rising Sun Connection double team Sabin and start to beat him down. After a few minutes, they get a near fall after a stiff kick to Sabin. Tajiri tries for the tarantula, but Shelley kicks him, which allows Sabin to roll him up for the win.
Winners: The Motor City Machine Guns

They celebrate shortly before leaving the ring as the Rising Sun Connection stand, furious and disappointed. After they leave, CM Punk enters the ring and begins to cut a promo saying they no matter who wins; Hardy or Jericho, Punk will beat either one to become Champion! This brings out Christian Cage, who enters to a huge pop. He says that Punk should get in line, because Captain Charisma will be the next World Champion!

CWA United States Championship:
Charlie Haas (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin

Good match. Benjamin does well early, but Haas fights back. They do a series of reversals before briefly mat-wrestling. Benjamin gets the advantage and tries for the stinger splash, but Haas evades it and hits a back suplex. He puts Benjamin into the Haas of Pain, but he escapes. After another brief set of reversals, Haas rolls Benjamin up for the win.
Winner: Charlie Haas (c)

Haas lies on the ground celebrating. Benjamin offers him a hand to help him up, but Haas looks at him blankly. He stands up on his own accord and bumps into Benjamin as he walks backstage. Benjamin is confused as to why he won’t shake his hand. Benjamin gets a microphone and asks why Haas is acting like such a punk, but he ignores Benjamin and leaves. Benjamin is frustrated in the ring before leaving.

Exhibition Tag Team Match
CM Punk and Joey Mercury vs. Christian Cage and Rey Mysterio

Good tag team match. Mysterio hits numerous high flying moves early, but they ground him and start to beat him down. He makes the tag to Christian after a minute or two. Christian cleans house and hits the Unprettier on Mercury before focusing on the legal man, Punk. They brawl and Punk nearly hits the GTS. Christian escapes and pushed Punk onto the ropes before tagging in Mysterio, who nails the 619. He tags Christian in again and he hits a frog splash for the win.
Winners: Christian Cage and Rey Mysterio

It’s announced that Christian Cage will face the winner of Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy tonight, next week on Breakdown. Backstage, Charlie Haas is shown packing up. Shelton Benjamin walks up and pushes him. He says he is acting like a baby. He asks why and Haas says that Benjamin took all the fame while Haas amounted to NOTHING until now. Benjamin says that isn’t true and Haas says that HE was the more talented, but all everyone cared about was Benjamin. They exchange words and Benjamin slaps Haas and tells him to “wake up”.

CWA World Championship:
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Amazing match. They counter each other’s moves early, but Jericho gets the advantage after a cheap shot. He beats on Hardy, but he fights back after hitting the Whisper in the Wind. He hits a few more moves and tries for the twist of fate, but Jericho reverses it and nails the Code breaker for the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho (c)

Jericho celebrates in the ring. Jeff Hardy stands up and they nod to each other, acknowledging their strong efforts. Jericho holds his title up in the air and stares at Hardy before mocking the fans as he leaves. Hardy shrugs and leaves.

CWA Breakdown - Episode #3
Jericho vs. Christian



Dark Match: Low-Ki def. Puma

Christian enters the ring to start the show as 3,000 fans scream for him. He says that tonight he gets a one-on-one opportunity against Jericho for the World Championship and he doesn’t intend to waste it. He thanks the fans for the support and says he will beat Jericho and he will become champion! Jericho enters and laughs, saying Christian couldn’t beat Jericho and tonight will just be another nail into his barely floating career! Christian laughs and says that Jericho ripped off his hairdo, and one-liners, so he must be doing something right! Jericho leaves as Christian laughs.

CWA Cruiserweight Championship
The Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Evan Bourne vs. Christopher Daniels

An amazing match with lots of back-and-forth action. After about five minutes of action, Kendrick and Daniels are both beating on Bourne. Kendrick hits him with the Sliced Bread #2 and Daniels hits him with the BME before allowing Kendrick to get the win.
Winner: The Brian Kendrick (c)

Daniels stands in the ring as Kendrick celebrates. Daniels gets a microphone and says that Kendrick better stick to his word and give Daniels a one-on-one title shot at the Pay-Per-View! Kendrick agrees and announces the match, but is interrupted by Paul Heyman who makes his way to the ring. He says that Kendrick doesn’t make the matches. He announces Bourne vs. Daniels next week in a number one contenders match! Bourne hits a double dropkick, knocking them both out of the ring as he poses for the fans before leaving.

CWA Tag Team Championships
The Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs. The Pitbulls

Solid match. The champions do well early, overwhelming their opponents with their high-flying arsenal. The Pitbulls fight back after a few cheap shots and even get a near fall after a Tigerbomb from Noble. MCMG fight back after a few minutes and Sabin eventually gets the pinfall after a Cradle Shock.
Winners: The Motor City Machine Guns (c)

The Rising Sun Connection interrupt their celebrations by walking to the stage and applauding them. Yocrapatsu gets a microphone and says that they want a rematch, because they are the rightful champions and that MCMG are flukes. Shelley gets a microphone and says that he’ll talk slow so they can understand: MCMG are not afraid of them. They accept the challenge and say it will take place at CWA Road To Ruin in two weeks. A promo plays hyping the debut of the “War Machine” Rhino! It says he will debut at Road To Ruin.

Best of Three Series: Final Match
AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian

Amazing match. Styles gets a near fall after a pele kick, but Kazarian fights back and beats on Styles for a few minutes. He hits an overdrive, which puts Styles down for a two-count. They reverse each others’ moves for awhile. Styles seems to keep outmatching Kazarian, which leads to him leaving the ring and walking out. Styles chases him down and they brawl through the crowd as the referee counts them out.
Winner: No Contest

Paul Heyman stops them and tells them to save it for the Pay-Per-View, because they WILL settle this best of three series and the final match will be at Road To Ruin and it will be contested in an Ironman match, with the winner getting a shot at the Television Championship the following week!

Tag Team Exhibition Match
Shelton Benjamin and Rey Mysterio vs. Joey Mercury and CM Punk

Good tag team match with a lot of high impact action. After about five minutes, Punk is nailed with a 619 from Mysterio, but Mercury breaks up the count. Benjamin and Mercury brawl outside, which distracts the referee. Punk pokes Mysterio in the eye before nailing the GTS for the win.
Winners: CM Punk and Joey Mercury

Backstage Chris Jericho is interviewed. He says that Christian Cage has never amounted to anything. He failed in WWE and went to a second-tier company where he still failed! Jericho says that success takes talent, something that Christian Cage does not have. Jericho says that, being the most talented superstar in the world, Christian Cage can learn a few things tonight when Jericho pins his ass in the middle of the ring!

CWA Television Championship
Charlie Haas (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Great match. Hardy manages to keep one step ahead of Haas at every turn, which annoys Haas. He hits a cheap shot and beats down on Hardy, but he eventually fights back with the Whisper in the Wind for a two-count. He tries for the Twist of Fate, but Haas rolls him up, grasping his tights for extra leverage to win.
Winner: Charlie Haas (c)

Haas stands in the ring before shoving Hardy to the ground. He calls Hardy a punk for ever thinking he can beat Haas. Hardy stands up and goes face-to-face with him, but Haas shoves him again. Hardy throws right hands at Haas, knocking him out of the ring. He goes after Haas, but is smashed in the face with a steel chair. Haas threatens to beat him more with the chair, but Shelton Benjamin makes the save as Haas leaves, furious.

CWA World Championship
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Christian Cage

Amazing match that had fans on the edges of their seats. Jericho managed to get on the Walls of Jericho after only a few minutes, which nearly made Cage tap. He eventually escapes and fights back, nailing the Unprettier and pinning Jericho, but he kicks out. After some reversals, Jericho hits the Code breaker. He pins Christian for a two-count, then tries again (with his feet on the ropes for leverage) to win the bout.
Winner: Chris Jericho (c)

Jericho quickly leaves the ring as Cage is furious and disappointed in the ring. He and Jericho exchange words until Jericho raises the title in the air and leaves the arena.

CWA Breakdown - Episode #4
Final Before Rise To Ruin



Paul Heyman enters the arena to a loud ovation as he makes his way to the ring. He says that its time for things to change and for history to be made. He says that Chris Jericho vs. Christian at Road To Ruin will be an ironman match and Evan Bourne vs. The Brian Kendrick will be a ladder match! Finally, AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian will be best of three falls! He also makes the huge announcement that the show after the pay-per-view will be a blockbuster event with a huge announcement being made!

Cruiserweight Tag Team Match
AJ Styles and Evan Bourne vs. Frankie Kazarian and The Brian Kendrick

Amazing back and forth match. Styles hits a huge corkscrew on Kazarian for a two-count. Kendrick beats down on Styles, but runs into a huge pele kick. Kazarian throws Styles out of the ring, which brings in Bourne. Kazarian tries to hit the Wave of the Future, but Bourne escapes. He fights back, but walks into the Sliced Bread #2 from Kendrick, which allows Kazarian to get the win.
Winners: Frankie Kazarian and The Brian Kendrick

Backstage, Jeff Hardy is talking to Rey Mysterio about the huge announcements on the show after Road To Ruin. Joey Mercury walks in and claims it will be the HUGE news that Mercury is the new number one contender! Daniels walks in and disagrees, which brings CM Punk in. They all argue. Rhino walks up behind them all and says that after his debut, the announcement will be a massacre of CWA wrestlers, caused by the GORE! GORE! GORE!

Triple Threat Match
Christopher Daniels vs. Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk

Amazing match that lasted around 15 minutes. Daniels takes both men down and nails the BME early on, for a two-count. Punk hits Daniels with the GTS shortly after. Hardy and Punk brawl, with Hardy nailing the Twist of Fate. He climbs to the top rope. Daniels throws him off and turns around, walking into the GTS from Punk for the win.
Winner: CM Punk

Christian makes his way to the ring for the Peep Show, with his guests, The Motor City Machine Guns. He says that later they have a six-man tag match and he wants their feelings. They say they are confident that they will win and also retain their titles at Road To Ruin. Jericho enters and says nobody cares about their title match because Jericho is the REAL Champion and CWA is Jericho! He says tonight he and his team will beat the six fools in the ring.

Exhibition Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. Joey Mercury

Pretty good match with some good action towards the end. Mercury beats Benjamin down, but he fights back with a stinger splash which he gets a two-count for. He climbs to the top, but Mercury superplexes him off. They exchange blows and do a series of reversals before Benjamin nails the T-Bone suplex for the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Shelton Benjamin celebrates in the ring as Mercury leaves, furious. Charlie Haas attacks Benjamin from behind and starts to beat him down, which brings Rey Mysterio to the ring to make the save. Mysterio helps Benjamin out of the ring and gets ready for his title match.

CWA Television Championship
Charlie Haas (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

Pretty good match. Mysterio dominates early with his speed advantage, managing to keep one step ahead of Haas at every turn. Eventually, Haas hits a cheap shot and beats on Mysterio. He puts on the Haas of Pain, which nearly forces Mysterio to tap. He eventually escapes and fights back. He tries for the 619, but Haas catches his feet and hits a solid DDT for the win.
Winner: Charlie Haas

Benjamin stands on the entrance stage and stares down with Haas, who raises his title in the air and smirks at Benjamin. The camera cuts backstage, where several wrestlers are in Paul Heyman's office, annoyed that they aren't on the card for Road To Ruin. Heyman announces that Puma will make his debut against Low-Ki in the pre-show, as well as The HooliganZ vs. The Pitbulls and Gregory Helms vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Spike Dudley. He tells them to make an impact!

Six-Man Tag Team Match
Chris Jericho and The Rising Sun Connection vs. Christian and The Motor City Machine Guns

Good match with lots of action throughout. Jericho hits the codebreaker on Sabin, but is too busy mocking Christian to make the pin. Sabin tags in Shelley, who dominates Jericho, forcing him to tag in Tajiri, who fights back. After a few minutes, The Rising Sun Connection double team Shelley, who eventually makes the tag to Christian who clears house. Christian does well fighting both members, but Jericho gets involved. MCMG take out their rivals, which leaves Jericho and Christian. Christian reverses the codebreaker and rolls Jericho up for the win.
Winners: Christian and The Motor City Machine Guns

They all celebrate in the ring as the heels leave the arena. Christian raises the title in the air, mocking Jericho before handing it to the referee. The Motor City Machine Guns raise their titles in the air too as the show ends.

CWA Road To Ruin Pre-Show



Paul Heyman enters to start off the pre-show. He says that in the dawn of Road To Ruin, CWA's first pay-per-view, the pre-show will feature several great matches. He says one of the matches is Chavo Guerrero vs. Gregory Helms vs. Spike Dudley in a triple threat match with the winner recieving a Cruiserweight Championship shot. He says that on top of that, there will be two talk show appearances. First, Christian Cage will bring The Peep Show with special guests Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Second, Chris Jericho will bring the Highlight Reel with special guest, The Brian Kendrick.

Winner Gets a Contract
Puma vs. Low-Ki

Good match with lots of reversals and stiff kicks. The ending came with Puma attempted a huge dive, which Low-Ki evaded before nailing Puma with a headbutt. He follows it up with a few chops and the Ki Krusher before slapping on the Dragon Sleeper to force Puma to tap out.
Winner: Low-Ki

Low Ki celebrates shortly before lifting Puma up and putting him on the ropes in the corner. He climbs the turnbuckle and hits a mean ghetto stomp before leaving as the fans boo him wildly.Backstage, AJ Styles is seen walking around. He runs into Frankie Kazarian. He wishes Styles luck, telling him he'll need it. Styles laughs and says that after he beats Kazarian, he'll wish Kazarian luck leaving the arena in shame. CM Punk walks past and says that luck is for losers, which is why the crowd couldn't give a crap about either of them!

Tag Team Match
The HooliganZ vs. The Pitbulls

Back-and-forth match showcasing the talent of both teams. HooliganZ dominate early, but the Pitbulls beat them down mercilessly after secluding Kidman. After a minute or two of being pounded on, Kidman fights back and tags in London, who clears house. He hits a dropsault on Noble, knocking him out of the ring. He turns around and Kash pokes him in the eye before hitting the Dead Level for the win.
Winners: The Pitbulls

Kidman enters the ring and argues briefly with London, but they get over it and shake hands before leaving, disappointed. Chris Jericho enters the arena for the Highlight Reel. He brings out The Brian Kendrick, who is booed. He says they are a lot alike, because both strive for success no matter what. The Brian Kendrick says they also both hold gold in CWA! This brings out Evan Bourne, who says that he will take care of that when he beats The Brian Kendrick in their ladder match on Road To Ruin! They exchange words.

Triple Threat Match - Number One Contender's
Chavo Guerrero vs. Gregory Helms vs. Spike Dudley

Great match that had many near falls, keeping fans on the edges of their seats. Dudley hits the Dudley Dog on Guerrero, but Helms breaks it up. He beats on Dudley and hits the Shining Wizard for a two-count. They brawl until Guerrero knocks Helms out of the ring. He hits the Gory Buster on Spike, but Helms rolls him out of the ring and steals the win.
Winner: Gregory Helms

Helms gets a microphone and says that no matter who he faces out of Kendrick or Bourne, he will leave Breakdown as CWA Cruiserweight Champion! He leaves to a lot of boos. Christian Cage enters the arena to a huge amount of cheers. He introduces Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, his special guests. He asks why they are fighting, to which Benjamin says that he doesn't know.

He says he offered respect to Haas time and time again, but Haas just refuses to acknowledge his former partner. Haas says that Benjamin stole Haas' success and left him to rot. Benjamin changes his answer and says they are fighting because Haas is jealous! They argue and push each other, but Christian Cage breaks it up and tells them to save it for Road To Ruin!

CWA: Road To Ruin



The show starts off as Breaking Benjamin's song "I Will Not Bow" blasts through the Los Angeles arena as nearly 3, 500 fans scream. Chris Jericho hits the ring dressed in a suit. The fans boo him, but he says that he will show them just what a real champion is when he walks away from Road To Ruin STILL World Champion!

CWA Cruiserweight Championship - Ladder Match
The Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Evan Bourne

Amazing match that lasted about 20 minutes. Bourne hit a huge spot by diving off the ladder over the ropes onto Kendrick. After lots of back-and-forth action, the ending came when they were fighting on the ladder. Kendrick tried to hit a modified Sliced Bread #2 off the ladder, but Bourne sends him flying over the ropes with a kick before getting the belt.
Winner: Evan Bourne

Evan Bourne celebrates on the ladder as the fans go crazy. Gregory Helms appears on the screen and congratulates Evan Bourne. He says for Bourne to not get attached to the belt, because Helms will win it next week! He says he has talent Bourne lacks, but Bourne fires back by saying he has something Helms will never have... the CWA Cruiserweight Championship!

Best of Three Series - Best of 3 Falls
AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian

Good match. The first round was filled with lots of mat-wrestling and reversals and the end came when Kazarian planted Styles with the overdriver to win (1-0). Styles fights back valiently and hits the Styles Clash to take the second fall (1-1). The final fall sees them fight on the top rope. Kazarian tries for the Flux Capacitator, but Styles pushes him off. They do a series of reversals and Styles hits the pele out of nowhere to win.

Styles celebrates in the ring. He leaves and as he walks up the ramp, Kazarian attacks him from behind and throws him head-first into the stage before spitting on him.

Backstage, Joey Mercury is getting interviewed. He says that tonight he will step out of the shadows and he will become the number one contender! Jeff Hardy interrupts him and says that first he must go through the "Charismatic Enigma"! Rhino finally appears and says he will break the "Charismatic Enigma" in half with the GORE! GORE! GORE!~

CWA Tag Team Championships
The Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs. The Rising Sun Connection

Solid match. MCMG dominate with their speed early, but several cheap shots later, the RSC beat down Shelley. After a strong effort, he tags in Sabin, who clears house. He gets in a lot of offence, but they distract the referee, which allows Akio to debut and nail him with a chair. Tajiri hits the buzzsaw kick and gets the pin.
Winners: The Rising Sun Connection

Akio raises their hand in the ring as they are handed the Championships. He is announced as their co-partners and that due to a flaw in the contract, any two of the three can defend the titles. They leave to a huge amount of boos as MCMG stand in the ring, disappointed.

CWA Television Championship
Charlie Haas (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin

Good match with lots of mat-wrestling and reversals. Haas beats down on Benjamin and locks on the Haas of Pain, but Benjamin escapes. He fights back and hits the stinger splash. He tries for the T-Bone Suplex, but Haas reverses it and rolls Benjamin up, holding the ropes to win.
Winner: Charlie Haas

Benjamin gets a microphone. He says he didn't understand Haas' motives, but now its all clear. He says Haas is a jealous coward who knows Benjamin could beat him any day of the week. Haas stares him down and Benjamin laughs at him and says he is pathetic. Haas says that Benjamin is using childish insults to avoid the fact that HE JUST LOST! Paul Heyman enters and says that since Haas cheated, they will have one final rematch next week on Breakdown, in a Street Fight. Haas leaves as Benjamin smiles.

Six-Man Number One Contenders Match
CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Rhino vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Joey Mercury vs. Christopher Daniels

Solid match with lots happening all the time. Hardy hits Mercury with the Twist of Fate for a two-count, but Daniels hits the BME to break it up. Punk throws Hardy and Daniels from the ring, which prompts Mysterio to fly over the ropes onto them. This leaves Rhino and CM Punk. They fight it out. Punk tries for the GTS, but Rhino escapes and nails the gore for the win.
Winner: Rhino

Rhino celebrates in the ring. Hardy and Mysterio applaud his efforts and welcome him to CWA. Punk and Mercury leave, annoyed. Rhino says that it doesn't make a difference if he faces Jericho or Cage next week, because whoever it is... they will feel the GORE! GORE! GORE!

CWA World Championship - 30-Minute Ironman Match
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Christian Cage

The first fall is mainly brawling and ends after a few minutes when Cage rolls up Jericho for a fall (0-1). Jericho runs at him, furious, but Cage manages to roll him up again for another fall (0-2). Cage laughs and they lock up. After a few minutes, Jericho reverses the Unprettier and pins Cage (1-2). He beats on Cage for a few minutes, but he fights back.

He gets some momentum, but Jericho pokes him in the eye and slaps on the Walls of Jericho, forcing Cage to submit (2-2). After about five minutes of action, Jericho tries to bring a chair into the equation. Rhino steals it from Jericho, which distracts him. Christian tries for the Unprettier, but Rhino smashes him with the chair, causing a DQ (2-3). He and Jericho smile at each other as Jericho pins Christian twice to win the match.
Winner: Chris Jericho

The crowd boos the two men wildly. Rubbish flies at them from all directions until Paul Heyman enters the arena. He says that Rhino's number one contendership match is now void! They are furious. He says that instead, Rhino will face Christian Cage next week, with the winner facing Chris Jericho the week after!

CWA Breakdown - Episode #5
The Aftermath



Paul Heyman starts the show by coming to the ring to a huge applaud as 2,000 fans chant "CWA! CWA!". He says they have a huge night with two big announcements. Christian Cage enters and says he would like to ask a favour. He says he would like his match with Rhino tonight to be Extreme Rules, with Chris Jericho banned from ringside. Paul Heyman agrees.

CWA Cruiserweight Championship
Evan Bourne (c) vs. Gregory Helms

Solid match. Bourne does well early, but Helms overpowers him and begins to beat him down. The ending comes when Bourne evades the Shining Wizard. He runs the ropes and hits Helms with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown, which he follows up with the AirBourne SSP for the win.
Winner: Evan Bourne

Bourne's celebration is cut short when he is attacked by Low-Ki, who mercilessly beats him down. He nails Bourne with the Ghetto Stomp. Helms gets into his face and they exchange words. Helms then nails Bourne with the Shining Wizard, which brings out Spike Dudley, who makes the save. A tag team match is announced next week.

Exhibition Match
Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk

Solid match here. Punk massacres Hardy after a botched Whisper in the Wind. He tries for the GTS, but Hardy escapes and nails the Twist of Fate. He climbs to the top rope, looking for the Swanton Bomb, but Punk knocks him off, hurting Hardy's arm in the process. He slaps on the Anaconda Vice, which Hardy taps to.
Winner: CM Punk

After the match, CM Punk gets on the microphone. He says that he is treated like a dog in CWA when he should be main eventing each and every show. He says that he will beat the crap out of whoever the hell he wants to until he gets what he deserves!

Exhibition Match
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Pitbulls

Solid tag team match. MCMG do well early with their high-flying antics. The Pitbulls ground Sabin and beat him down, keeping him from tagging in Shelley. He eventually does, and Shelley makes a comeback, but Noble pokes him in the eye. Kash hits the Dead Level for the win.
Winners: The Pitbulls

Chris Jericho is backstage with Rhino. He tells Rhino to decimate Christian Cage tonight and make sure that even if he wins, that he will not stand a chance against Jericho next week. Rhino agrees and says that he will hit Cage with the GORE! GORE! GORE!

CWA Television Championship - Street Fight
Charlie Haas (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin

Amazing, yet brutal match. They mat-wrestle early on, but Haas gets frustrated at Benjamin keeping up with him. They take the fight outside, where weapons begin to get involved. The ending comes with Haas tries to hit the Haastile Takeover (Mic Check), which Benjamin reverses into a T-Bone Suplex onto a chair for the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Benjamin celebrates, but CM Punk smashes him over the head with the Championship. He beats on Benjamin before getting a microphone and saying "Victim #1!". Paul Heyman enters and says that CM Punk will get a shot at the Television Championship next week."

He says that he may as well make his first announcement now. He says that the next Pay-Per-View, Salvation will feature a new match called the Cage of Chaos. It will be a ladder match, but held inside of a steel cage, which will be filled with various weapons. He says that this match will be for the CWA World Championship!

CWA Tag Team Championships
The Rising Sun Connection (c) vs. The HooliganZ

Good match with a few near falls. The HooliganZ nearly get the win after a dropsault by London, followed by a SSP from Kidman. The Champions fight back. With the referee distracted, Tajiri blows mist into Kidman's eyes, which allows Akio and Yocrapatsu to hit a double facebuster for the win.
Winners: The Rising Sun Connection

They celebrate before leaving. Kidman offers to help London up, but London slaps his hand away. Kidman apologises, but London snaps and kicks him in the chest before taking him to the ground and laying into him with right hands. He climbs to the top rope and nails a huge mushroom stomp before leaving, as the crowd boos him. Kidman is helped out by the referee.

Five-Way Exhibition Match
Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Joey Mercury

Amazing match that got a few "Holy crap!" chants going. Kazarian hits the Flux Capacitator on Mercury, but Daniels breaks it up. The ending comes when Mysterio hit the 619 on Daniels. Styles then knocked Mysterio off the apron and nailed Daniels with the pele kick to win.
Winner: AJ Styles

Styles celebrates before leaving. Christian Cage is shown backstage where he is being interviewed. He says that Rhino will pay for what he did at Road To Ruin and after that, Cage will beat the cowardly loser known as Chris Jericho and take what is rightfully his... the CWA World Championship!

Number One Contenders Match - Extreme Rules
Christian Cage vs. Rhino

Amazing bout. Cage smashes Rhino with a chair as he walks to the ring and beats him down around the arena. Rhino fights back, even hitting the Gore for a two-count. Rhino tries to powerbomb Cage, but he escapes and suplexes Rhino through the table. He then hits the Unprettier on the concrete floor for the win.
Winner: Christian Cage

He celebrates, but its cut short when Jericho attacks him. He starts to beat Cage down, but he fights back and Jericho flees. Cage raises his arms in the air, but is gored by Rhino. Jericho and Rhino leave to a huge amount of boos as Christian Cage is left beaten down in the arena. He is helped out by paramedics.

Paul Heyman hits the arena to make his second announcement. He says that next week's main event will be Chris Jericho vs. Christian Cage for the CWA World Championship... in a Steel Cage Match!
