So you know, figure buying at times can be tough. I'm one who can't really make a final decision on what figures I want. Maybe some other people are like that too. Sometimes I use the saying, "When in doubt, do without". It's actually helpful, lol. If I ever have the slightest doubt on a figure, I usually pass it up and not feel regretful a day later. Just thought I'd pass this along, for those that may care... .

I actually thought of that line in TRU last night. Had a $5 TRU Rewards coupon that expires in a few days. Was going to just grab one of the shelf warming CSTT sets and opted not to. Instead I used the coupon to pick up Batman Arkham Asylum for 360. Plus that came with a $20 gift card...that I'll end up spending on figures!

I live by Jakks' motto:
"Don't be a punk, collect them all!"

i think i'm kindof the opposite really lol.
i try my best to plan my purchases, so i get the least waste of money possible (eg holding off from buying ECW #5 Tyson Kidd until i see the upcoming adrenaline version, incase I like the new one better)
but as far as if I think buying a figure will make my collection better (even if it's spending £30 just to get some rare boots for a specific fixup idea) i will buy it. cos at the end of the day i get enjoyment from collecting and take great pride in improving and personalizing my collection
(BTW i never have any money because of this, I spend it all on figures as soon as i get it. usually. lol)

I used to go by that motto, but there have been a few times where I saw a figure I wanted, but had some doubt, then when I went to get it the next day it was gone. In one of the other forums I frequent, a member said, "If you know you want it, pick it up, I may not be there later."
