Has he made mistakes? Yes, plenty (pretty much his entire WCW run). But he's done many good things too, and while I make fun of him a lot I really am fascinated with how he's changed wrestling and I appreciate this man. Also sometimes he has a crazy beard and sometimes he doesn't. And sometimes his hair is long and sometimes it isn't. And sometimes he writes good stuff and sometimes he doesn't. Also POLE MATCHES

The fact you left out the greatest theme song ever mention shows you don't apperciate Vince Russo.

What is there to appreciate? Nothing imo, he sucks at everything he does. If your trying to say he changed the bussiness during the attitude era alot of people in the industry would highly disagree. What do the people who bash and belittle russo have to gain? He is a scumbag cancer and should be serving fries at Burger King.
Soon enough he will be released and that will be worth a thread.
No offense to to you at all Jimmy, i just don't like Russo.

I admit fully he gives himself too much credit, but to be fair nobody gives him any of the credit so I guess he's trying to balance it out.

The fact you left out the greatest theme song ever mention shows you don't apperciate Vince Russo. I'll assume you're refering to his TNA theme and not the WCW Iron Man knockoff so I can get behind this. ' you' being the beginning of Russo's theme works on so many levels.

If anyone is familiar with them, I wanna see a Guest Booker Shoot done with Vince Russo. That'd be tight.

I think russo should work in front of the camera instead of backstage. He does have charisma, just can't write storylines IMO. I've always enjoyed his worked shoots and his random funny stuff.

I would like to note though that the Russo-bashing on the WCW DVD was pretty hilarious and pretty fair, there's no defending his WCW stuff. But the KISS thing was NOT his.

no doubt Russo has had good ideas........but hes had an equal number of bad ones.
bottom line he needs someone to police him.he CANT be given free reign at ANY time anywhere

Vince actually should be appreciated. He had control of the product in WWF. He had virtually no control. He was paddling up river in WCW. There were so many things working against him.

Vince Russo is like the Brett Favre of wrestling.

Didn't everybody on the wcw and in countless other dvds and books state that he had zero to do with the attitude era aside from a few cool character ideas and other misc stuff? He was never great at anything in my book, he is actually a cancer to wrestling to be honest.
Anybody who would hire him is stupid, anybody who would hire him and give him alot of control on the direction of their product is must be intellectually- disabled.
I can't find one thing to appreciate about him, at all And to be fair to the topic starter i tried to find something but i just can't.

I can't stand Russo! Sure WCW was having some tough times, but it wasn't as bad until they fired Bischoff and brought in Russo. He claimed to start the Attitude era and such, but they were obviously false claims, and how WCW talent could see that and management couldn't is beyond me. In the Monday Night Wars dvd, Ric Flair said that when they brought Russo in, he knew it was over. He said he and a lot of other guys knew that all of his claims were false, and that he would be the downfall of it all. And he was. So screw Vince Russo!
