Extreme Championship Wrestling - Extreme AgainOctober 27, 2009 ECW on Sci-Fy airs. WWE fans around the world are shocked when Paul Heyman appears at the end of the show and says that he has bought ECW back from Vince McMahon
October 28, 2009 Internet rumour sites burst into life reporting that Heyman has re-signed with WWE and with ECW declining the idea is for ECW to become it's own brand again away from the WWECW product. WWE will still own ECW but not acknowledge it as much and not have there stars on ECW shows. Several sites report that members of the current ECW roster will move to Smackdown and Raw and several veterans will move back to WWE and join ECW
October 30, 2009 WWW.ECW.COM is launched. It has no acknowledgements to WWE and has a simple message on the front page "We are back" It also lists the new roster. It as expected lists a number of former ECW wrestlers most notabley Rhyno (signed from TNA) Sabu (returning) and Terry Funk (Back as a Manager) The biggest shocks of all see Chris Jericho included as a member of the ECW Roster (Jericho last wrestled for ECW in 1996) and The Dudley Boys returning to there old hunting ground. They have both been quoted as saying they weren't happy with the way they were used in TNA. With Christian moving over to Smackdown the ECW Championship Belt was vacated.ECW Heavyweight ChampionVacant I've seen that Hurricane has done something slightly similar to this but I came up with this without even remembering that I'd seen he'd made a new ECW diary.
I have planned this out. I will stick to it. I am determined to ;-) Yes you've heard me say that before but this time I will actually stick. I'm not going for tons of detail so I will post all shows in this thread.

Now I'll have to up my game! Friendly competition is fun man! I look forward to seeing what you will do. Roster is pretty good, though I'd like to see you bring Rob Van Dam into it, or possibly some new people that have never been in ECW to just bring in some 100% new blood.
Can't wait!

Tuesday November 3, 2009
ECW Hardcore on SyFy comes on air as Paul Heyman's music plays! Joey Styles and Matt Striker welcome you to ECW Hardcore on SyFy. The set is completely changed from the HD WWE set up that fans will have seen just last week. There is a classic entrance with a black door where the wrestlers walk out of a massive ECW Logo in front of a black background then above that the screen for the wrestlers videos. Heyman then appeared to a huge reaction from the fans. Tommy Dreamer then walked out as well surprising the fans. The two then walked down to the ring (which note had brand new ECW classic style ring skirts with the logo on top of a plain black background similar to the ring set up at the top of the ramp). Once in the ring Heyman spoke first. He told the fans that tonight marks a massive night - the night ECW returns to its route right here in Philadelphia! Fans mark out like crazy. Heyman then said that it's his honour to be out here and to mark the event he's brought out a ECW legend with him - Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer got a massive pop too from the fans. Heyman then told the fans that he's going to lay down what's going to happen. He said that ECW Hardcore will run a 1 hour show every week right here on SyFy and every month there will be 2 hour PPV spectaculars starting on December 6 with The Return of Hardcore. Tommy Dreamer then took the mic and thanked all of the fans for making it to the re-birth of ECW tonight. He then said that he and all of the other ECW wrestlers promise to give the same blood, sweat and tears as before and this time ECW is here to stay! Dreamer then started a "EC DUB EC DUB" chant as the show went to its first break of the night!
Commercial Break
- Sabu w/ Terry Funk vs Sheamus
Sheamus was out first for this one. He came out to his old WWE theme and gained incredible heel heat due to his lack of ECW history. He played to the heat as much as possible getting even more of a heel reaction. Then Sabu's music played! ECW fans climbed to there feet as the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac walked out of the backstage area! He was assisted by Terry Funk which got a lot of people talking and many surprised looks. As the two walked to the ring Sabu high-fived fans on one side and Funk (in out-of-ring attire) high-fived the rest. Once in the ring Terry Funk began speaking. Funk said that Sabu is one of the greatest ECW superstars of all time and he loves the respect Sabu gets. Funk then said that he regrets to say that he is no longer able to wrestle because physically he hasn't got it anymore and doesn't want to leave wrestling on a losing low. He then said that because of that he is going to help Sabu any way he can and be in his corner. Then from behind Sheamus jumped Sabu and the match was on as Terry Funk fled the ring.
The match was alright as Sabu and Sheamus met. It lasted around 9 minutes as both men battled. After the jump attack from Sheamus Sabu slowly began to gain control over his younger opponent. Sheamus got in a fair bit of offense but Sabu looked generally better for the whole contest. The end came when Sabu locked in the Camel Clutch to Sheamus. The Irish brawler didn’t have enough to get out of it so he tapped giving Sabu the victory.
After the match Terry Funk entered the ring and raised Sabu’s arm as Courtney Taylor announces him as the winner. ECW fans go crazy after seeing the return of Sabu.
Winner: Sabu via Submission
Hardcore then goes backstage were the familiar face of Steve Corino is standing by. The camera the turns to Vladimir Kozlov which garnered boos from the fans. Corino told Kozlov that he has an idea. If they team together they would be the most dominant team in ECW history! Kozlov smiled slightly then let out a sadistic laugh. Then The Dudley Boys appeared from behind! They told Corino and Kozlov that they are the most dominant team in Wrestling history period and Corino had better understand that he can’t just get a big man with him and think he has formed the best team ever. D-Von then said that they will prove what they mean tonight in a tag team match! Steve Corino nods and squares up to D-Von Dudley as ECW goes to the break
Commercial Break
ECW then returns to your TV with Chris Jericho in the ring. Jericho said that he has returned to ECW to prove a point. That point is that he is the best wrestler in ECW history. Jericho then said that he moved from Smackdown to ECW and dropped the Unified Tag Team Championship in the process! Jericho then said that since that title holds more prestige than the ECW Title he deserves to be handed the ECW Heavyweight Championship right now! Paul Heyman’ music then played. The newly appointed General Manager came down to the ring looking angered microphone in hand. Once in the ring Heyman said that Jericho proved nothing back in the old ECW but he respects his accomplishments in the WWE. Heyman also said that he respects Jericho as a wrestler but only as a wrestler not as a person! Heyman concluded by telling Jericho that he’s going to face Rhyno tonight and if he can beat the War Machine then on December 6 at the return of Hardcore Jericho can have a title match! Jericho looked satisfied as the 2 left the ring and the camera moved to the commentary table were Matt Striker and Joey Styles spoke about the events that have just unfolded.
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) vs Steve Corino and Vladimir Kozlov
The Dudley Boyz walked out first for this match gaining a brilliant face reaction off of the fans. Once in the ring Corino and Kozlov came out. They got the heel reaction they were looking for off of the ECW faithful.
This match was pretty good. The Dudleyz looked to control Corino and successfully isolated him for a lot of the 7 minute match. Bubba Ray and D-Von blended as well as they normally do eating up Corino and stopping Kozlov making the tag. After 6 minutes Kozlov lost it through frustration. He jumped off the ring and grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Kozlov then climbed into the ring and smashed Bubba Ray (who wasn’t aware that Kozlov had a chair) D-Von then dived in and tried to make the save but he ate a chair shot too. Corino then got to his feet and helped Kozlov beat the Dudleys senseless. ECW fans booed the pair as they stood tall with cheesy heel grins on their faces. Courtney Taylor announced that the Dudleyz have won via DQ.
Winners: The Dudley Boyz via DQ
Commercial Break
Chris Jericho vs Rhyno
The fans seemed really up for this one as ECW returned from the final break of the night ahead of the Main Event. Rhyno was first out. He got a warm face reaction as he stormed to the ring to a chorus of cheers. Then Chris Jericho appeared from backstage. With his music booming Jericho walked down to the ring slowly wearing an arrogant grin on his face. Fans gave Jericho the best heel reaction of the night shouting insults and booing avidly.
The match lasted around 10 minutes as these two traded blow-for-blow. Neither man gained much of an upper-hand at all as the match caught the fans attention and imagination due to how even it was. The end of this one came when Rhyno hit a surprising DDT to Jericho, the War Machine then waited for Jericho to get up before racing for the gore but Jericho instinctively stuck up his knee. Rhyno’s head smashed into it! Jericho then grinned before going to the mat and covering for the 1...2...3!
ECW fans booed as Jericho celebrated his first win on ECW in his first appearance for many years. Referees came out to check up on Rhyno who was a bloody mess. Jericho raised his arm smugly as ECW Hardcore went off air.
Winner: Chris Jericho via Pinfall

Nice opening.
Could be a little more description for the match, but it wasn't bad.
Two nice promos with Dudleyz/Corino/Kozlov and Heyman/Jericho.
I would have liked to have known a little bit of what happened in that 6 minutes that got Kozlov so riled up that he needed a chair.
I also would have liked to have known how Rhyno got bloody, but still not bad.
Glad Jericho won.
Overall it was a good show, could use a bit more detail, but it's not going to ruin your show if you don't. Keep up the good work.

Opening:
Nice Job. I'm happy too see Dreamer back.
Match 1:
I love how you showed us how much the fans love & hate the wrestlers. I like how you said the high-fived the fans; It kinda painted a picture in my head on what's going on. You need to go into greater detail about the match & what happened. Nice to see some Vintage Sabu with that camel clutch victory.
Segment 1:
Wow. That was unexpected. I can't wait!
Match 2:
Again, More Detail Please. I wasn't expecting that ending. I can't wait to see how this storyline plays out.
Main Event:
I'm glad to see Y2J win. I like seeing chris as a heel doing stuff like this & I'm hoping to see him as ECW Champ soon!

Sabu vs Sheamus Decent match, I like the Camel Clutch win, but I wished Sheamus walked out with the victory.
Dudley Boyz vs Steve Corino & Vladimir Kozlov I'm glad the Dusleyz got the win, because I don't know Corino, shame the Dudleys got the win with a DQ.
Chris Jericho vs Rhyno I like both these guys I loved their match in the Invasion Storyline, I don't mind ether of them winning ether. Loved the knee reversal off the gore. Jericho winning the main event is good.
Can't wait to read more of your work mate.
