I don't own a real scale ring and wondered if it's even worth getting now or just wait for Mattel to make one. I'm just wondering if it's worth the money to get one, wait it out to clearance or what. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

well..... i built mine myself out of wood from school, and the got the rsr V2 WM2 mat and buckles, so so cheap to do and almost as good as the real thing, looks replica aswell lol but if you want one like EC or HIAC or CAGE or MITB or woteva else they did then buy one, get one while you can and all the mattel rings we have for now are poop looking SAR sized ones, maybe they will do an RSR, but what if they dont and if they do and do a poop one??? IMO build one (ill help if you wish) or get a speciality RSR if you so wish or gamble and wait it out for however long you wish * cheap plug im selling my RSR for £25 inc 2 wm2 mats and the buckles etc, 3 green ropes. collection only im in ESSEX *

I have a RSR from the HIAC. It's great, you might have to iron the mat so there's no wrinkles. I have had this since last Summer when it came out. The only complaint I have is the ropes become a little loose after awhile.

It's a really nice piece. I still have the very first one from 2006 or so, and it holds up fine.

I think on a display, it really makes your figures look nicer, if that makes since. I use mine for display purposes only though. I have the Classic one that came with the Hogan and Piper figures. It is a 1 of 10,000 from Kmart I believe.

The RSR rings are great. The one I'd say not to get is the Chamber if you plan on taking the ring out since it doesn't have a ring skirt. The others all come with ring skirts and really are great. They just make your collection a gem with the realism and are definitely worth the $. I have all of them except for the first one that didn't come with a cage.
Definitely look into them!!!

I would pick one up for sure... Even if Mattel makes a real scale ring these rings are still great to have in your collection...
