I am absolutely speechless. There aren't the right kind of words to explain fully the experience of seeing KISS live. But I'll try. Night started at a friend's place, me and a friend went there to meet 2 more friends and the guy's mom, the 5 of us went. On the way up, we stopped at the mall about 30 mins from Philadelphia for a bathroom and snack break. Then we finally made it and parked at quarter to 8, though the show started at 7:30. We got to our seats and Buckcherry was already playing. Missed some of their set, which I didn't like missing. They covered Highway Star by Deep Purple! It was awesome! They did a really good job. After their set, I saw a image on the screen that said Black Butterfly was re-released, yet again, with said Highway Star cover and video on it. I'm mad at that too. Anywayz, we had a while to wait before KISS came on, but once they did, the place went INSANE! From the first song they played [don't remember it ] all the way through the solos, and Gene Simmons flying up to the rafters and Paul Stanley swinging across the GA seating, awesome all around. Then, after the solos, Paul came out and said "So. The Phillies just won." And damn the place erupted! But from the songs they played, to the pyros and the lighting effects...just an all around incredible show, an all around excellent experience, and...just amazing. I am so very glad that I had the pleasure of attending the show. From the start to the finish, I had such an excellent time. I took pictures, but they are on my phone, and I'm so tired right now, but I'll work on getting them off my phone and try to post them. I definitely recommend ANYONE here to see them...you will not be disappointed. A good time will be had by anyone, any fan of any genre.

I saw them last in mid-2008 and thought they sounded appalling compared to their previous tour. Your experience sounded cool though! Your team winning mid-set is awesome.

I saw KISS a couple of years back at the Pyamid in Memphis, Drowing Pool opened up for 'em and it was the probley the greatest 3 hours of my life lol. Seriously it was amazing I was a HUGE KISS fan when i was a kid and that was my first time seeing them...but it really was one the greatest thing i think iv ever seen. It beat Motley Crue,Ratt/Poison,Ted Nugent...just all the live stuff iv seen. I heard that KISS and Ac/Dc are on tour together now. If they come close to me ill see 'em but i really dont care for Ac/Dc one bit. Looked on KISSONLINE last night found out that KISS/Buck Cherry is coming to the Attel Arena in Little Rock on the 29th...Im gonna go.

I used to be a fan when i was younger. But after dealing with the crap the fans put me through over the weekend in NYC i cant stand it. Kiss is over the hill and needs to put away the make up. All i saw in the ferry were dumb ass fans with painted faces and rude attitudes.

A KISS show is always a great time. They were the first band I ever saw live(what a thing to be able to say..) and they definitely blew me away. That was about 8 years ago on their farewell tour..heh. I was considering going to see them in Boston...except I didn't realize the show was when it was ha. Worst part? I was in Boston the day of the show but didn't have the money to buy a ticket. Hopefully I get another chance to see them again soon...even though it won't be the same seeing them without Ace on guitar, although Tommy does hold his own in the group nowadays.
All in all, glad to hear that a fellow member of the KISS Army had a great time seeing them. Rock on dude!

I have been a KISS fan for 32 years. Been through the ups and downs. Not happy with Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer playing in Ace and Peter's makup. They are not Ace and Peter and never will be.
