I was just telling my best friend about this! I got in so much trouble for doing this- Take the 2nd guy in the picture (the one who is holding a mortar round) and hold him upside down. Then put the mortar in between the legs of the figure directly below him. It looks like a penis! Childish, sure. But it would always make my brothers & me crack up!

We used to get about 15-20 figures per bag, at $1.00 per bag. Since we had so many, we used to melt them with a magnifying glass.
I'll have to look, but I remember we had a figure who was getting shot. His helmet was partially off & he had a pained expression on his face. If I can find him, I'll take a picture & post it.

I bought something from a fireworks store in Vermont 4 years ago that shot a thing up in the air and like 150 of those guys rained down with parachutes on.
We set it off in front of the campus security building.....it was pretty bad ass.

Never had the Army but, I had a big bucket of demons that my Uncle bought for me.. They were all red and black. The bucket also had these weird, green snake looking things. This little sucker has seen it all. It went hidden through USMC boot (still have no idea how I managed that), traveled the world and is in my pocket at all times. It's kind of a good luck charm I guess. Out of all the crap that I own...this is the most valuable thing to me.

When I was a kid I loved the 1/32 scale Airfex figures. I had tons of those. 7th Cavalry - I had 3 favorites in this set. 1 was standing in an action stance with a pistol & sword. Another was standing shooting his pistol (extended straight out) with his other hand on his swords handle. And the last was lying on the ground with his rifle tilted into the air while pulling out his revolver. Indians - My favorite was crawling and had a knife US Marines - favorite was the officer w/ the pistol looking back waving the troops forward. US Paratroopers - Believe it or not my favorite was the radio man. WWII German Infantry - Favorite was the commander w/ pistol German Africa Corp - Favoritre was the grenade thrower. German Paratroopers -Favorite was the one lying down w/ the machine gun tossing the grenade. British Paratroopers - Favorite was the commander in the beret w/ binocculers British Commandos - Favorite was the crawling commando w/ knife British 8th Army? (desert uniforms) - I didn't like these figures so they were the guys who would get killed first in battle. Modern British Infantry - I liked the machine gunner. Japanise WWII Infantry -favorite was the Japanise office w/ sword WWII Ghurkhas Gurkhas - I also had another set of some sort of jungle fighters where my favorites were the officed with the machette and the guy standing shooting the machine gun. I still have a few of the 7th Cavalry figures along with a few of the grocery store thype figures pictured by grumpyoldman above. Here is a pic of my 3 favorites from the 7th Cavalry- (don't mind the paint I painted them back in the late 70's early 80's.)
