wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wrestlingfigs&thread=149573&page=1I posted my CS collection up here a few months ago, but just the other day I took my display down to make room for the holiday season (extra seating and clearing out space for the Christmas tree) and while they were all packed up, I started to wonder if I should sell. I love my collection and I'm very proud of it, but I've spent a lot of money over the years and I'm sure that trend will only continue with the NWA Line coming. The economy sucks and I just can't justify spending so much on figs anymore. Should I decide to part with them, would it be wiser to sell in our classifieds section as opposed to ebay?

I would tend to say eBay will fetch you more money, but you'll have more fees to pay. I mean if you have a bunch of rare stuff or hard to find stuff, eBay would be the way to go. Unless there are figures you'd like to trade them for.

After watching a picture fed show by Blackjack Mo4sho I started to contemplate starting up a fed of my own, but I attempted to put on a match between Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton this morning and failed miserably. I just don't have the imagination anymore.

eBay is better then WF Classifieds.
-For some odd reason, you are expected to send your stuff to someone BEFORE they pay you here if they have more "refs" then you do. Ridiculous. Makes no sense.
-You will get more money for the stuff on eBay.
-I just sold my entire RA/DA/CS/CSDA collection on eBay and did pretty well considering the economy. Now I have the room and the funds for the Mattel figures.

For those interested in seeing my collection I posted the link to the thread I made a few months ago in the 1st post of this thread.
I may need to be overwhelmed to sell off my collection and I'd rather not separate them.

I will never would sell off my whole collection. I have sold off everything except for my Classic Superstars. It wasn't like I had a lot of other wrestling figures besides CS. I never would get rid of my CS figures.

Well if you decide to sell the collection then I have a question.... How will the deal work??? You have a very impressive collection that should sell for a good chunk of money but I don't know how many people are going to feel safe sending that large of amount of money to a stranger and vice versa... I'm sure you don't want to send your impressive collection to a stranger first!. No offense but even non strangers have short changed people... Just a thought for you to consider when making a deal with one of us (if you decide to sell)...

Well I think the safest way to go would be paypal, unless the buyer is from the Chicagoland area and is willing to pick them up personally. I've never sold anything, but I'm pretty sure that paypal provides buyer protection.

I live in the Chicagoland area, and registered on this board after seeing your post just to contact you about acquiring at least a majority of your collection. I'd be willing to make such a deal, I PM'ed you with details.

WOW, that's an awesome collection! I wouldn't sell it, if I were you (if you don't need the money badly) because there will be no WWE Jakks Classic Superstars any more from January on, and I think the value will increase after some time more with the classics than the normal Ruthless or Deluxe Aggression Figures.

I have decided that I will sell the collection. I have received a few serious offers and I'm just giving anyone that has not seen my collection a last opportunity to make an offer before I finalize a sale.

i recommend that u sell your rare gem figures on the bay and shelf warmers that u know wont sell well on the classifeids cause that way u void fees of them not selling!

dude don't sell! This nwa line I'm sure is going too fade. Stores couldn't sell the cs line in the end. How are they going too be able too sell them without the wwe name tag. They aren't going too be able too afford big names like bret hart and warrior. They in order too sell are going too have too make them at less then $10. Which means the quality will be bad. I don't really see this taking off. Where as its also probably gonna be several months maybe almost a year before the nwa figures come out. Save up now and then you can afford them. In a years time there is going too be less people selling these on ebay because the people who have them won't want too be getting rid of them. The prices are gonna drop for a short while because everyones selling. Then people are gonna be trying too buy them back because they are in scale with mattel. If Mattel doesn't do a classic line then these are going too be almost unbuyable.
If you sell wait awhile until when the nwa line comes.
