Jingle All The Way Home Alone 1 & 2
I can seriously watch Home Alone 1 & 2 so many times in December that it gets annoying.

Thumbs up to the other mention of The Ice Harvest... that's definitely going on my to-watch list again this year.

How sad is is that none of you people have even mentioned "It's a Wonderful Life", you people need help.

How people can watch A Christmas Story over and over again without getting the piss annoyed out of them by half the kids in that movie is a miracle beyond me.

I'm not a fan of Christmas movies. I'm more of a Halloween guy.

Are there any movies you just have to watch, to get you in the holiday mood? For instance, I start the night before Thanksgiving and watch Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Then, on Thanksgiving night, well after our meal, I pop in the original Home Alone to get into Christmas mode. Finally, anytime between then and Christmas Day, I watch the original The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. Love the thread you started. +1 Karma. I do all the same movies as you - and for the last 20+ years, watch PTA - on Thanksgiving Eve. Greatest movie, ever!

As for everyone else, I'm digging the lists...Glad to see some other people like Jingle All The Way. It's a pretty corny little film, but I saw it in theaters as a kid and I've loved it ever since. Phil Hartman was awesome as the annoying neighbor.

To not appreciate it is to not appreciate life itself.

There are some people out there who just like to drop names because they're considered "classics." It gets entirely annoying. I've seen the movie a handful of times, it's not that I don't appreciate it, it's simply that I just do not like it.

Note: If you do not sense the amount of sarcasm dripping from the very words I am typing then I weep for your soul.

-- My younger sister and I always watch the 2 Christmas specials of MST3K on tape ("Santa Claus conquors the Martians" with Joel, and "Santa Claus: the mexican movie" with Mike).
Good times!
