Are there any movies you just have to watch, to get you in the holiday mood? For instance, I start the night before Thanksgiving and watch Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Then, on Thanksgiving night, well after our meal, I pop in the original Home Alone to get into Christmas mode. Finally, anytime between then and Christmas Day, I watch the original The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.

TBS usually does like a 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story on Christmas eve, so that occupies me from all of the excitement, because usually that day seems to take forever! i think last year i watched it 4 times in one day. best christmas movie ever! didnt someone like make a post to see which character you were last year?

We watch Gingerdead Man with Gary Busey on X-mas Eve. This year it will be a double header. First Gingerdead Man and then Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust!

I've never seen A Christmas Story. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It's probably my favorite one... After Thanksgiving I'll start watching all of my usual ones: Home Alone 1 and 2, Jingle All The Way, It's A Wonderful Life, The Santa Clause, A Christmas Story, Elf, Christmas Vacation.... I feel like I'm forgetting a ton

Jinge All The Way, Home Alone 1 & 2 and Cool Runnings (nothing especially Christmasy about Cool Runnings, just it's usually on TV in Britain around Christmas time, so as soon as I see that it's on TV I feel it's coming towards Christmas ;D)

Lots of 'em. I've never seen A Christmas Story. Glad I'm not the only one. My only tradition movie for this time of year is Die Hard.
