Jim Ross, "Welcome to the beautiful Mohegan Sun in lovely Connecticut. Tonight we will see the World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair defend his title against someone who Ric Flair says he will hand pick, because in his first defense he wants to get it right."
Bobby Heenan, "No doubt the main event will be a brawl for the ages. Ric Flair will manage to find someone good enough to face off with him and it will be a historic night."
Jim Ross, "Oh here comes Dean Malenko and he doesn't look happy."
Dean Malenko enters the ring and takes a mic.
Malenko, "I have two things I want to address. The first is that I was robbed out qualifying for the US Title match. I demand to have a re-match with Paul Orndorff. No distractions, no outside interference, nothing, just a straight up match. The second thing I want to address is Arn Anderson. The man that not only distracted me and caused me to lose last week, but the man who refused to shake my hand and congratulate me on becoming the new 4 Horsemen. I want to know Arn, what's the big deal, why wouldn't you shake my hand?"
4 Horsemen music plays and the other 3 Horsemen come out. Arn is carrying a mic and begins speaking before even entering the ring.
Arn, "Dean, I'll give you a reason as to why I didn't do those things. I just don't like you. I don't think you are a good enough wrestler to be matched up with the three best wrestlers in not only this company but in the world. And you don't have the Horsemen air about you. We like to party, go out on the town, get some women, ride in expensive jets and the finest limousines. You ride coach. I mean really coach, that right there should disqualify you from becoming a Horseman. You just don't live the lifestyle. You aren't able to hang with us and enjoy the finer things in life. You are content with having your $10 watch and your $100 suits, which you own 2 of. You don't like to bask in the glory of the spotlight. You are just not right for the Horsemen. And I will give a simple proposition to Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard. It's either me or him. We can continue living the good life or you can chose the reserved man who will stifle your fun and be a complete downer. The choice is yours gentlemen, I hope you choose wisely. Now I'm going to leave before I do something I'm going to regret."
Arn lays the microphone down and walks away and the show goes to commercial
Jim Ross, "What intense words Arn Anderson just had for Dean Malenko, welcome back everyone, it is time for the first match of the evening. Let's send it up to Gary Michael Cappetta."
GMC, "In the corner to my right, weighing in at 234 pounds and hailing from Dallas, Texas, Steve Casey. His opponent, the man in the corner to my left, weighing in at 317 pounds from Detroit, Michigan, Kevin Nash."
Casey starts on the offensive give lefts and rights to Nash, but he isn't budging. It isn't effecting him at all. Nash throws some punches back at Casey which are having more of an effect. Nash runs off the ropes and delivers a big boot. He picks up Casey and brings him up and slams him down with a Jacknife powerbomb. Nash makes the cover and gets the 3.
Nash leaves the ring and the ref helps Steve Casey to the back. The next two participants come out
GMC, "In the corner to my right, weighing in at 275 pounds and from Sweetwater, Texas, Barry Windham. His opponent, the man in the corner to my left, weighing in at 315 pounds from The Department of Corrections in Cobb County, Georgia, The Big Boss Man."
The match begins with a collar and elbow tie up. Boss Man being the bigger man is able to push Windham into the corner and the ref starts the 5 count. Boss Man gives a break and then kicks Windham in the mid-section. He grabs Windham and throws him between the ropes into the turnbuckle, shoulder first. Windham gets up and turns around and is met by punches. Windham ducks one of the punches and begins trading jabs with the Boss Man. Boss Man knees Windham in the mid-section and then DDT's him. He proceeds to stomp on Windham. He picks up Windham and runs to the ropes attempting a clothesline, but Windham ducks and goes to the ropes himself and hitting a flying fist right in the Boss Man's forehead. Windham punches Boss Man a few times and then grabs him and goes down with a Russian Leg Sweep. He picks Boss Man up and hits a few upper cuts. He raises his right hand into the air with all five fingers extended. He drives his hand down and clamps onto the Boss Man's forehead with the Claw. Boss Man isn't strong enough to survive the Claw and he taps.
The Finals of the US Championship ended in a double disqualification as Dean Malenko came down mid match and attacked both men and proclaiming himself as the new US champion. Malenko grabbed the belt and walked off.
Commercial break
Ross, "Welcome back, Ric Flair is in the ring, ready to announce his opponent."
Ric Flair, "Wooooo. As the World Heavyweight Champion, it is my duty to defend this belt against all comers and tonight I am doing just that. My opponent tonight came up to me and asked if he could have a shot at my belt. I said he wasn't going to win because it is my belt. Wooooo. So without further ado, my challenger. Terry Funk."
Ross, "Well after last week, I'm glad to see this match. I want to see Funk and Flair after that beating Funk gave him. Maybe Funk can reach his goal of becoming champion here tonight. Wait a minute. That's not Terry Funk, that, that's just Tully Blanchard with a pair of Funk's tights, a Funk t-shirt and a headband. What is the meaning of this?"
Blanchard, "Ric, you are the man. And well I don't think I can beat you. I'm just a withered up old man, past his prime, trying to recapture his glory days. I can't beat a man at his physical peak such as you. I can't compete against the greatest wrestler in the world today. I just can't do it. I know I tried getting one up on you last week, but it was a mistake. I know I couldn't beat you, it's why I had to attack you from behind. So I'm just going to lay down and let you pin me and show these fans that you truly are the man."
Blanchard lays on the ground, Flair covers him and a disgusted ref counts the three. Blanchard and Flair get up and shake hands.
Flair, "Well it is nice of you to admit all of that. I am the greatest in the world and I just proved it by beating one of the supposed baddest men in the sport. Guess it goes to show you that you're nothing but trash. Now get out of my ring."
Blanchard leaves and is about to leave through the curtain when Terry Funk jumps the guardrail and attacks Flair from behind. Blanchard doesn't see this and keeps walking. Funk is just hitting Flair with right after right. He hits him so many times, he's busted open. Funk stands up and raises his arms in the air and the show goes off the air.
