Does anyone work for kgb_ or ChaCha? Just curious what your experience has been if you have. I applied for ChaCha, did all of their damn video training and questions, then apparently failed and was not allowed to retake the test. This pissed me off so I did kgb's training, and just recently took their final test. They emailed me and said they'd get back to me within 7 days, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyone else given it a try? What are your experiences with the company?

Why do I smell a scam somewhere? Its no scam. Have you ever texted ChaCha before? Its free. Ask them a question, any question. Their number is 242242. They make their money from advertising. You text them, they send you a text with an advertisement, usually some local pizza place or new DVD coming out, then they send you the answer. Its free. If you work for chacha you get like 4 cents an answer or something.. At the end of the month you can direct deposit it to your bank account or get it put on a debit card they send you, free of charge. I only know so much about them because they are based in a suburban city right outside Indianapolis kgb_, on the other hand, costs 99 cents an answer. As a kgb_ "special agent" you get 10 cents for every question you answer. The kgb answers are typically more quality, which is why they charge...

Seriously I texted chacha asking "Do you like cheese?" and I got a list of all the kinds of cheese the guy liked, but he said he did not like pepperjack.

I've been trying to apply to Chacha for about a year now, and I'm constantly being told they're not accepting any new guides

I did Kgb_ for like a week. It was a pain and not really worth the money. Training took about 2 weeks...I got a direct deposit for $4 and some change...

My buddy at college did it. Honestly, replies take time and at 10cents a reply, you'll be lucky to make minimum wage. good luck though....he was a ing genius and couldn't be efficient enough to make minimum wage.

Federal minimum wage is $7.25. Assuming you get paid .10 an answer, you would need to answer 73 questions an hour to top that. If you get paid .04 an answer, you'd need to answer 182 questions an hour to top minimum wage. Meanwhile, the first service is charging the questioner .99 cents an answer and paying you .10 so they pocket .89 a question. The second company is taking in ad revenue for which the companies probably pay about .40-50 cents so they're making a similar profit margin. It costs them virtually nothing to provide the service (an SMS server costs about $2k to set up) and they pay a lot of people less than minimum wage to work for them while getting no benefits whatsoever. Sounds like a scam to me.

Sounds like a scam to me. Well, if you're just sitting on your computer playing spider solitaire or EWR, while listening to music or Between the Ropes, you can get paid while doing any of that.. Granted its not much money, but its a little extra money for essentially copy and pasting answers while listening to music or something
