Howdy folks, I am in a pickle. I've got my router set up on my laptop so I can try access internet connection signals from our main PC, but when I try to connect my laptop up, a message will say IP addressed needs renewed and won't allow it to go online.
I have no idea how to renew it. I then come onto the main PC to see if I can help it out at the other end, and there isn't much luck. Basically if I can renew my IP adress it'll get me going, but I have no clue how
Please help any ideas?

try going to the command prompt and typing is: configip /renew it's ipconfig. In order to go to the command prompt, go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. If you're running Vista, you need to right click on Command Prompt and choose Run As Administrator. Then type in ipconfig /renew
