Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone had a list of all the Superstars Jakks signed for the WWE Classic Series, but did not end up making figures of them.
I can think of a few off hand, but if you can think of others, please list them. Thanks.
- "The Doctor of Style" Slick (Seriously, why wasn't Slick made? He was signed years ago, but they never made a figure of him for some bizarre reason. He could've been released singally or in a 2-pack with Boss Man or 2-pack with Akeem or even a 3-pack with Boss Man & Akeem. There was guaranteed money to be made there for sure, but Jakks didn't make him. Why?)
- Brad Armstrong (I swear he was signed to the WWE Classic series, but they never made him. He certainly would've been the "Ted Arcidi" of the series, that's for sure)
- "Luscious" Johnny Valiant (They made his brother, "The Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant, but not "Luscious" Johnny for some reason. They had more than enough time to make him, but didn't. Why?)
- Pat Patterson (Seriously. Come on Jakks. This man was the first ever Intercontinental champion in history and you DID sign him, but you cancel it in the end? I just don't get it)
- Outback Jack (Man, I would've loved to have seen another Outback Jack figure after all these years. And I did recently find out that Jakks did sign him and he was scheduled for CS #27, but they cancelled him in the end. I would've bought him for sure.)
- Corporal Kirchner (I remember reading a rumor that Jakks signed Kirchner for a deal to get a figure, but nothing came of it. Again, I would've bought Kirchner for sure.)
I can't think of any others, but if you guys can, please list them here. Thanks alot.
