Very sad. I always saw this guy as me if I ever reached that age. I'm a huge fan of Salinger and his works. I mean sure, he was 91 and the most reclusive person known to mankind -- but I always thought he would release another novel. Oh well. In totally weird batcrap news, I could've sworn I heard Salinger was seen at the Terminator 4 movie premiere last year. I'm gonna go listen to "Catcher in the Rye" by GNR. RIP. You'll be sorely missed.

Wow that sucks, im not a massive reader buy Catcher in the Rye is one of the best things ive read, loved that book, sad loss.

I was gong to post this so it is good that I didn't since it was already posted.
I never read the book but I might later.
He was old so it is no shock that he died but it is still sad.

Definitely sad news. Catcher in the Rye was a great book. I read it my sophomore year in highschool. Since then I always loved it.
