Yes, these Mattel Chase belts, what is the hoopla?
They aren't worth anything because every single basic figure has 1000 produced of these. Fools are paying ridiculous amounts of money on ebay because of the number? really. Yeah its a nice collectors item to have MOC/loose but some people on here act like they found a gold mine and it perplexes me.

I think it's just nice to find one of the guy you wanted. I have HHH & Austin MOC, but the rest I've opened.

Yeah I don't understand it either. I didn't understand it with the Jakks ones either. I refused to fork over hundreds of dollars when they first came out. I ended up getting a WHT with a BOWCW Flair for like $13 and that included a custom robe.

I've only found one, and opened it. Beyond that, I really have no desire for it. Same with Jakks. The only reason I paid $20 for the figure was for the belt.

It's 1,000 per series, at least what I thought. Not 1,000 per figure. I don't think they'd do 6,000 per series. I've never seen the same number on 2 different figures.

I've never seen the same number on 2 different figures. its a 1/1000 for every debut figure in the basic line. Each figure in series 1 had a 1/1000, but if a character ever repeats in a basic set it wont come with one.

Each new wrestler debuting in the basic singles lines (Basic/ Heritage/PPV) gets 1000 belts made for them. So Basic Series 1 all 6 wrestlers received 1/1000 belts so that was 6000 belts made in Series 1. (1000 for each wrestler) Heritage Series 1 - Orton, Taker, Edge & Austin each received 1000 belts. So there's another 4000 belts Basic Series 2 - Kane, Henry, Kozlov, Punk, Rey, Swagger will each receive their own 1/1000 belts so that's another 6000 belts released in Basic Series 2

I really dont get it. The belts look pretty stupid IMO. Maybe good for MOC collectors, but Id rather have actual belts, instead of a big round gold circle belt.

some people like to collect numbered items... they only made a 1000 of each fig with belt....when you really realize that is not THAT many... plus half of them will be found by some kids that will destroy the belts playing with them..hence in reality in a few years the number will actually go down because of that..and many people open theres...so in years to come to find one MOC will be more around 500 or so im estimating

I have a few MOC and have left a few on the pegs. There are way to many of them to be rare. I just hope to trade mine for figures I can't find or come in two packs.

People are paying 1 of 500 prices for things that are 1 of 6000 or so or more, since each figure gets a 1000.

Historically, something that's numbered will have a greater value in the future. It may not seem special now, but in 10 years, an Orton figure that has what can be construed as a definite production number would be more valuable than one that's just a regular figure.

i'm gonna grab any i find and keep 'em moc. only if i find 'em in stores though, and no more than 1 of any given guy. been lucky enough to find 2 so far (cena, kane). i'll aim for 1 from every series (shouldn't be too difficult, but figs have been getting harder and harder to find in my neck of the woods)

I've found two; opened both of them. Didn't make much of a difference to me. I guess the cool thing is like there was only one Kofi Kingston Belt #748 out of a thousand in the entire world. I mean, in that sense it's like a one of a kind kind of thing. As far as value, who really cares? Don't know who'd pay for something like this anyway. Sure, it would be cool to get a Kane 666, Punk 420, or any actually numb3rered 0001. But, yeah, there's hoopla for some reason with ordinary numbered belts. Plus, they're really ugly looking.

the only one that I would pay more than retail for is the Stone Cold Steve Austin, #0316 of 1000.
Even then, 20-30 bucks max maybe.
I'm sure there is an 0619 of Rey Mysterio some where, as well.
