Does anybody else find themselves going to Walmart to get 1 or 2 things and coming out like 2 hours later with a cartfull of stuff?

That's how their store is designed man. There was special on Walmart on one of the news channels a while back.
Everything you buy is sent via computer to their head quarters where they keep track of it. The items most often purchased on average (like milk) are placed in certain areas. Using milk as the example - most people often by it every time they go grocery shopping, so they place it in the very back of the store, so even if you do have a list, you have to pass by thousands of other items you may see, and buy as well.

Yes, I think most people have a few things on their minds and end up throwing "this" or "that" into their cart and soon have $100+ total at the register.

Nope never happens to me. When I go to the store for one thing I only leave with that one thing.

No, because for the most part I'm good with my money. Or I'm broke from buying/paying things I really need.

Often I leave with tons of stuff I never intended to buy and not with the thing I did intend to buy which leaves me needing to go back.

I often find myself being the one to tell people I'm with to not buy certain things because a lot of it is not necessary..

My Walmart question: can anyone else not remember the last time they were greeted? I mean, Walmart greeters have the easiest ing job in the world.

I get greeted all the time at my Walmart. I usually read their name tag real fast and say Hello to you, ____ and it kinda flips them out.
I find myself going into Dollar Tree for like super glue then dropping 20 bucks since everything is a dollar.

They put best sellers in the back I believe. So if you go back to get milk you may pass by the birthday cards & remember its someone's birthday soon, therefore, you buy it. See what I mean?

Not really. Usually I have something in mind I want to buy. Once in awhile I'll walk out with a few surprises if they have some stuff o nclereance or some good looking snack food they got laying around.

Yes i do it all the time, But then again its when i get off work, I Work at my local walmart. But you know i would say that probably more than 25% of wal*marts sales are from its workers, Everyone always buys something when they get off work, And everybody always gets lunch there.
