There's a saying in business that 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers which basically means its the loyal customers who contribute a large part of your business. With niches like TNA and action figures, its pretty specific and means alot. To lose a large portion of people here will be quite a problem.

i've bought the good mattel's but im not that impressed i think people like mattel just because they like to bitch about jakks, so mattel have individual scans? no they dont, they have MORE scans, as the mattel line goes on, we'll see the same scans over and over again. the accessories, the t-shirts in the elite series look awful, the seams look like they haven't been finnished properly, compared to jakks t-shirt, which looked great. plastic - the quality of material used for the figures is poor, we've seen this many people have said that when opening their ------ figure a foot/arm/leg has fallen off. arms - the shoulder joint is too big, making the arm look miniscule on the joint. chest - the chest seems to have imploded inwards, where as most real wrestlers have bolder wider chests. Price! way OTT £17 for a two pack is laughable mattel do have a few ups though the fact that they include the t-shirts is nice, even if they are a little shoddy enterance greats look great, something jakks never attempted some scans are great like Kane, Hornswoggle. most well informed post on this matter i have yet seen... i agree 100 percent... the very few who are inlove with mattel ignoring all those flaws listed above because they either 1, love to bitch about jakks or 2 have nothing better to do....lol

I think some of the Anti-Jakks sentiment is incredibly overstated, and don't think they deserve to be as belittled as they are when you look at their overall performance. A few bad months doesn't make them the worst company ever, and Mattel isn't automatically superior because anyone on here declares them to be, and so on.
That being said, Jakks has done themselves absolutely no favors as of late, between them being perpetually out to lunch the last several months of the WWE license, the fiasco with UFC series 2, and the absolutely piss poor showing they made at Toyfair. It's been a long time since they first showed the TNA prototypes, and with all the months that passed they couldn't come up with anything else to show? Hey guys, you do remember this is for RETAILERS right? The fans are just incidental, Toyfair is where you're supposed to be selling your products to retailers to get them interested in carrying your lines. This was an opportunity to really make a strong showing, and they completely wasted it. Good job

The shirts are better than Jakks. If you even watched WWE you would see that a lot of guys don't have the seams so that their shirts are easier to rip. And in all my years of watching WWE I've never seen anyone wear a turtleneck t-shirt. As far the torsos go. For the most part each person looks good, Kozlov and Kane could be a little less buff, but that's ok. How long did Jakks ONLY have 3 torso for RA? How many times did we get Orton with a heavyweight torso, Nitro with a super heavyweight torso, a classic star with the wrong torso? None of my figure have had broken parts, except for my ECW1 CM Punk along with half the board! Really, other than select head scans, Jakks will never be better than a Mattel figure. The complete attention to detail and realness of the figure blows any Jakks figure away.
