Case File TD-001
Subject: Trace Demon
Attending Psychologist: Dr. Michael Crane
The following is the transcript from Dr. Michael Crane, taken during an interview with the acting director of WFWF, Trace Demon. The purpose of the following report is to determine whether Trace Demon is mentally stable enough to continue in his role as acting director of the company.

Trace Demon cuts an imposing figure when he sits down. There is menace is his eyes, definite signs of sleep deprivation and over exhaustion. He appears to be having problems sleeping, or is working far too hard in comparison to his hours of sleep. Despite this, he still seems to hold some kind of charismatic charm that just fills the room. This was the man that was described to me before our session, a man so confident in his abilities that he cared little for his own health. He shows no signs however of the mentally instability that his dossier described, other than potential insomnia.
Dr. Crane: Thank you for attending Trace.
Trace Demon: Not really my choice Doc.
Dr. Crane: What do you mean?
Trace Demon

Dr. Crane: Thank you for attending Trace.
Trace Demon: Not really my choice Doc.
Dr. Crane: What do you mean?
Trace Demon
Clearly, Trace Demon has no filter to block out those comments that any self respecting individual would keep to themself.
Dr. Crane: You understand that this is a necessary measure, don’t you Trace.
Trace Demon: Who told you to get me in here Doc? It was Sean, wasn’t it?
Dr. Crane: I’m afraid I’m not allowed to discuss that with you Trace. Right now we are here to discuss you.
Trace Demon: It was definitely Sean. He wants me out and he thought that this would be the easiest way to do it. Get someone to declare me mentally unstable and I’m out of a job, right Doc, that’s how it goes.
Dr. Crane: That is correct. If you are found not to be in a suitable mental state then you will not be allowed to continue with the job that you are currently undertaking.
Trace Demon: Well I’m afraid you can tell Alex Sean that he isn’t getting what he wants, I’m not going anywhere.
There is a clear and present hate in his voice when he speaks of Alex Sean. Almost like he holds some greater personal grudge with the man the transverses the normal professional rivalry that is present in many of his fellow professional wrestlers.
Dr. Crane: Why is it that you show such hatred towards Alex Sean? I mean, while he is indeed a rival within the promotion that does not mean that you have to hate him.
Trace Demon: Obviously you don’t watch a lot of our shows, do you? Alex Sean isn’t just a rival to me, he’s a man who thinks I don’t deserve to be where I am. He’s a man who opposes everything I stand for – freedom, self respect, and the love of this business. Alex Sean would love nothing better than to kick me to the curb and get rid of me for good. He wants me gone so he can have his wicked way with everything I’ve built up over my run as acting director. He understands that I am the only person who will stand against him and the owners of the WFWF and work for the good of the company, not the good of their bank balance. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not against capitalism, I’m no communist after all, but if money is the primary motivating factor for an individual in the WFWF, then they’ve come to the wrong place.
His words make sense, and as he speaks them I can sense the passion he has for the business, for the company and maybe even for the fans. This is not what I expected when I sat down with this man. Maybe he is not necessarily the evil man that had previously been described to me, but potentially he is what is called an anti-hero.
Dr. Crane: That is a very strong opinion Trace, but what evidence do you have that anybody is out to get you.
Trace Demon: I’m not paranoid so don’t try and spin this one around on me. Just look at the match Sean has set up for this week.
Dr. Crane: You’re a wrestler Trace, surely matches come with the territory.
Trace Demon: I’m never going to be one to object to a match. I’ll go out there any night and fight anybody who is put in that ring with me. But we are talking about Aaron Ashton and High Horror, two religious freaks who clearly have problems of their own. I mean, even I can sense the tension between those two, and I’m meant to be mentally unstable, right? These are two men who couldn’t rely on their own talent, because it wasn’t getting them anywhere, so they turned to some divine being instead, they thought that it would help them win matches, help them rise to the top of the ladder.
Dr. Crane: Maybe they just thought that religion was the right thing to turn to, it helps a lot of people Trace, and you can’t deny that.
Trace Demon: It was Karl Marx that once said ‘Religion is the opium of the people’ and he was right. Sure, religion can spur people on, but it’s all lies and crap. The Revelation aren’t religious, they don’t believe in any of the crap that they’re shovelling down the fans throats. They’re just looking for an excuse, a reason why their careers have so far amounted to nothing. That’s all religion is Doc, an excuse, a scapegoat for losers like High Horror and Aaron Ashton to hide behind.
Trace Demon’s words are cohesive and rational, his argument makes sense. While it may at first appear to be the rant of a madman Trace Demon clearly has the clarity of mind to make a decisive argument. His psychoanalysis of High Horror and Aaron Ashton is above par and shows intelligence and analysis skills that you would not find in a mentally unstable person.
Dr. Crane: If my notes are correct Trace, were you not formally a loyal follower of religion.
Trace Demon: I used to be delusional; I used to spend half my time drunk of my face and believing that God exists, that he wanted me to cause anarchy. But then I realised the truth, that I was lying to myself, using the drink and drugs and religion to dull the fact that I was hiding from the truth – that I was acting like an idiot. I realised that the only important thing is enjoying the life we’ve got, and making sure that everyone else enjoys the ride in the process. I’ve realised the importance of the fans, the thrill their screams and chants bring. But that doesn’t mean I have to pander to them, I’m still going to do things my way, live life the way I want, but I’m going to make sure people enjoy watching it, watching me as I tear down Alex Sean’s would be kingdom. Interview’s over Doc, I’ve got a life to lead.

Final Conclusions:
Trace Demon is a man whose actions and mannerisms have long sparked debate on his mental state, and during his earliest months within the company it is true that he was potentially delusional, but I cannot state that I am in any doubt on his current mental state. Trace Demon is in complete control of his actions, and is not driven by any instability, but rather a fully sane and rational mind.
That however, is potentially more worrying. If Trace Demon was mentally unstable then his actions could be explained as that of an unstable man. However, Trace Demon’s actions are actually that of a highly manipulative and driven individual. Trace Demon is fully aware of what he is doing, and I believe that is more worrying than the alternative.[/center]
