Indy World 2002 Backstory:
Ring of Honor 2002: In April 2001, owner of RF Video Rob Feinstein started up a wrestling promotion where wrestling was the main attraction and not “sports entertainment”. Feinstein was looking to start a company to lead the DVD sales of his website after Extreme Championship ended up going out of business in January 2001. Thus, in order to garner as much profit as possible he would develop his own company and sell the events straight to VHS through his website.
Rob Feinstein would end up hiring former ECW employee Gabe Saplosky to book ROH. Saplosky would end up developing a “Code of Honor” system which consisted of the following: 1. You must shake hands before and after every match. 2. No outside interference. 3. No sneak attacks 4. No harming of officials 5. Any action resulting in a disqualification violates the Code of Honor.
The first show is scheduled to take place on February 23rd, 2002 called the “Era of Honor Begins”.
Jersey All Pro Wrestling 2002: “Fat” Frank Iadeavia founded JAPW on April 19th, 1997. JAPW only held two shows in 1997, however as Frank booked various wrestlers who weren’t getting steady work because of the politics involved in the Jersey wrestling scene. Frank teamed up with a man named Jeff Shapiro to run shows at the Charity Hall. By 1998, Shapiro would be a investor for the company as JAPW continued to rise in popularity.
2000 is considered JAPW’s peak in terms of popularity as they were featured in many top news outlets all over the New Jersey area. With JAPW being a hardcore wrestling type of company their future didn’t look good when a bill was passed that prohibited “extreme wrestling”. JAPW tried to go to Philadelphia but they were prevented by the State Commission. Thus, JAPW was forced to change their style to less hardcore and more of a strong style. JAPW still have hardcore matches, but nothing too severe to get them in trouble.
JAPW’s first show of 2002 is scheduled to take place on February 2nd, 2002 as it is a memorial show for the recently deceased Russ Haas. All proceeds will be going towards the Haas family.
Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling 2002: With Extreme Championship Wrestling going out of business a year ago, the Blue Meanie wanted to start up a company that would be centered around former ECW wrestlers and other independent wrestlers. However, he didn’t have the proper funding. His girl friend, well known porn star Jasmine St. Claire was able help him out by using her royalty checks from her adult videos.
With the money available, Menaie and St. Claire were able to lease the ECW Arena to run their shows.
3PW’s first show is scheduled to take place on February 15th, 2002 called simply “Inaugural Show”

Dude I love this allready, not sure how you will be able to handle 3 indy companies unless you followed all them at the time, kinda wish you waited till 03 to have PWG instead of CZW, or an early Chikara would have blown my mind , I don't see many people following the CZW part, good luck and i'll be following.

ROH is awesome. JAPW is awesome. CZW is... eh, whatever. Two out of three is not bad. I like it already.

I have no interest or real knowledge of these promotions (minus ROH, a little). However, this could be really cool. You'll be able to flow freely between promotions and even integrate them if you choose.
Good luck with this.

Also, hopefully you feature MLW a little later on.

Nice write up I kinda like having two of the promotions starting up and another allready running, three new promotions might be abit overkill, hoping London, Punk and Strong all get pushes in thier respective promotions, I would love for JAPW to have a kinda working relationship with Chikara meaning that you can bring in a few guys, really looking forward to this but I don't see you sticking with this, please prove me wrong, good luck.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling presents Russ Haas Memorial Date: 2/2/2002 From: Bayonne, New Jersey
The entire JAPW locker room enter the ring and have a tribute to the recently deceased Russ Haas. Their was also a ten bell salute. Charlie Haas was in attendance and thanked the fans for their support through this tough time.
Opening Contest: Amazing Red defeated Sonjay Dutt in 7:34 - A great opener to open up the show. Both men gave their all as they are fairly new to JAPW. - Red almost won the contest following the Red Eye. Dutt got a near fall of his own following a double springboard moonsault. - Red picks up the win following the Code Red and Red Star Press.
Second Contest: Josh Daniels defeated Mike Kruel in 4:46 - This match was rather mat based and both traded several submission moves. - After several reversals, Daniels managed to lock in the cloverleaf and picked up the win.
Third Contest: Insane Dragon defeated Jay Lethal to retain the JAPW Lightweight Championship in 10:05 - As expected, these two traded a series of high spots and put on a good show for ten solid minutes. - Dragon planted Lethal with a tornado DDT and nearly picked up the win. Lethal came back with a release German suplex. - Lethal took Dragon over with a full nelson suplex but couldn’t get the three count. - Dragon managed to hit the Slice Bread #2 to retain the title.
Fourth Contest: Roderick Strong defeated Xavier in 5:18 - Roderick controlled the majority of the contest taking Xavier down with several different versions of a backbreaker. - Xavier got some offense in which was mainly highlighted with a overhead belly to belly suplex. - Strong finished Xavier off with the CX 02’.
Fifth Contest: DA Hit Squad defeated the Backstreet Boys to retain the JAPW Tag Team Championships in 12:09 - A damn good tag team match between these two teams. - Acid took both Mafia and Mack out with the Acid Trip on the floor. Mafia took Acid out with a half nelson suplex back in the ring. - Kashmere got in on the match taking Mack down with a spear but was caught on a springboard cross body attempt. Mack delivered a swinging side slam for a near fall. - With Mack and Kashmere battling on the floor, Acid attempted the Acid Bomb on Mafia. However, Mafia got out of the move and connected with the Burning Hammer to retain the titles.
INTERMISSION
Sixth Contest: American Dragon defeated John Walters in 10:16 - Early on these two battled it out on the mat trying to get the advantage. However, things picked up once Dragon connected with a suicide dive to the floor. - Walters put on a good fight taking Dragon out with a inverted DDT and a Gory neck breaker, but couldn’t put Dragon away. - Dragon blocked a super kick and connected with a German suplex. Dragon quickly locked in the Cattle Mutilation and picked up the win.
Seventh Contest: Low Ki defeated Slyck Wagner Brown to become the number one contender to the JAPW Heavyweight Championship in 11:44 - Ki and Brown traded a series of stiff kicks with Ki getting the better of the exchange. - Brown managed to take Ki out with a leg lariat and a northern lights suplex but Ki got out of the pin attempt. - Ki delivered a handspring knee lift in the corner and spiked Brown with a sick brain buster. - Brown attempted a sit out power bomb but Ki managed to slide off and roll Brown up for the win.
Eighth Contest: Christopher Street Connection defeated the Solution in 3:29 - CSC antics really bothered the Solution here as CSC made out on the apron as their tags. - CSC got out of any of the holds that the Solution put on them by simply rubbing their back sides on them or feeling them up. - The comedy match, which it was, ended when the CSC hit the Gay Basher on Havok.
Main Event: Charlie Haas defeated Homicide in 20:05 to win the JAPW Heavyweight Championship - Haas was very emotional as the crowd was really behind him to win the championship. Homicide was determined to retain his championship, despite how emotional the night has been. - Haas took Homicide down with several suplexs and nearly won the championship several times. - Homicide took Haas down with a double leg slam and a frog splash off the top but couldn’t get the three. - Homicide hit a tope con hilo knocking Haas out and knocking the guard railing down. - Haas was able to reverse Da Cop Killa attempt and took Homicide down with a series of German suplexs. - Haas was able to lock in the Haas of Pain after a battle to get the hold on. After several moments, Homicide was forced to tap and Haas won the title! - After the match, the locker room again emptied and Haas was overwhelmed with the reception. Homicide got up and shook Haas hand and hugged him as everyone in attendance gave a standing ovation for Haas and everyone involved with the show.
End of show.

Loved the JAPW show I know you didn't want too much detail but this is perfect for me, nice to do a show to Russ, great fast paced opener, meh at the second, hoping Dragon loses the title to somebody well known Lethal would have been a good choice, Strong/Xiaver should have gone longer but I understand Strong didn't really break out for a while yet, prefered the Backseat Boyz to win, Loved Danielson/Walters as a terrific tech match, not famliar with Brown so glad Ki won, meh at the comedy match, great main event hoping Haas gets a good reign, good luck and keep this up.
