DISCLAIMER: This is the first company on the boards (to my knowledge) where winners are decided at random. So, if your favorites don't win, don't complain to me. It adds more excitement for me, and, hopefully, you as well. Check out the WWA News & Info thread for more information.
WWA-X Preshow
- Evan Bourne & John Morrison def. Santino Marella & The Brian Kendrick via Air Bourne
- Chris Jericho def. Edge via Codebreaker
- Paul Burchill def. A.J. Styles via Brainbuster
Episode #2 | March 17, 2010
"You're Not in on the Joke" by Cobra Starship pipes through the arena speakers while the camera pans the fans, who are on their feet, ecstatic to be in the arena as WWA's Endurance Eps. #2 eminates from Denver, Colorado! At ringside, Joey Styles and Jonathon Coachman welcome everyone to the show! They announced that Paul Burchill had made an official challenge to Jay Roclass for a match at Risky Business, and he was going to answer sometime tonight!
Beth Phoenix, who demanded a match in the Cruiserweight division last week made her way to the ring. Styles and Coach reminded everyone of how Santino tricked her into believing her friend, Evan Bourne, had made some cruel comments about her ability to compete with the Cruiserweights, which evoked her challenge. She grabbed a microphone from Michael Buffer, and demanded that someone come out and face her. Bourne grabbed a microphone, saying "Listen, Beth, we need to talk. Santino lied to you. The things he said, he misconstrued my words, he made me look like a jerk, when everyone knows he's the jerk. I know, Beth, that you can beat anyone back there, man or woman. You don't have to prove anything to me. So, what do you say, you and I go to the back, and we forget any of this ever happened?" Bourne started to walk away, but Phoenix did not move. She said, "Evan, this isn't about proving anything to you. I know Santino lied, but it finally occured to me: if Santino can be the Cruiserweight Champion, then I shouldn't have ANY trouble putting that belt around THIS waist." Beth signified a belt around her waist, while Bourne smirked from the ring apron. He hopped down off the apron, shaking his head at her and walking up the ramp. As Bourne got halfway up the ramp, "It's Time!" hit over the speakers and the former champ, Shane "The Hurricane" Helms made his way to the ring, set to accept Beth's challenge.
CRUISERWEIGHT MATCH: Beth Phoenix vs. Shane HelmsThis match was surprisingly quick. Helms stepped into the ring and tried to hit Phoenix with a clothesline, but she ducked under it and locked him in a full nelson. She then lifted him up in the air and planted him face-first on the mat with the Glam Slam! She rolled Helms over on his back and pinned him for the three count, and the win! Phoenix slid out of the ring, performing her signature taunt as she smiled at Bourne, who nodded his head, impressed.
Winner via pinfall: Beth Phoenix - (0:19)

Shane Helms stumbled into the backstage area, entering the locker room, where the Grey Shirt Security stood, holding his bags. They informed him that they had been called to take him -- "his time here was done." Helms punched the door and then took off running away from the Grey Shirts! They dropped his bags and started after him.
TAG TEAM MATCH: C.M. Punk & Kofi Kingston vs. The ColonsThe man with the best hair in the business, according to WWA Managing Partner Apollo Creed, Carlito, and his brother Primo made his way to the ring first, receiving a decent pop from the crowd. Before their opponents made their way to the ring, Primo cut a short promo, telling Carlito, "the next WWA pay-per-view, Risky Business, is gonna have all extreme matches, where the stipulation is determined by the strengths of the competitors the match. And that's why I heard that Apollo Creed wants you in a hair match! But the only person they could find who had hair worse than yours is the Coach!" The camera zoomed in on Coach's bald head, as he looked extremely confused. Carlito smacked Primo on the back of the head, telling him to get serious. Punk and Kingston finally made their way to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd, and as they entered the ring, Punk's biggest fan, Serena appeared in the front row of the crowd, screaming at Punk. Despite the distraction, the match went on and proved to be a great, back-and-forth battle between two of WWA's newest pairings. The fans were torn, cheering on both teams as they continued to trade the offensive advantage. Finally, Carlito seemed to be in control in the ring, so Primo took out Kofi Kingston, knocking him off the apron and then hitting him with a somersault plancha, taking them both out on the outside. C.M. Punk reversed a DDT attempt by Carlito and lifted him on his shoulders for the GTS, but Carlito reversed, bringing Punk down to the mat with the Lung Blower! Carlito went for the pin, but as the referee was about to come down with the three count, Serena jumped into the ring and attacked Carlito! The referee immediately called for the bell, but Serena continued to assault Carlito! When Punk realized what was happening, he grabbed his #1 fan and pulled her out of the ring.
Winners via DQ: The Colons - (7:11)
Carlito stood up, looking confused and distraught over what happened. Primo climbed into the ring with him, while Serena's mood quickly changed with Punk holding on ot her. She wrapped her arms around him for another hug, but he pushed her away, saying she cost him the match. She looked around, then began crying, as she wrapped her arms around Punk again. Punk looked confused, but then acted sympathetic to her, walking her to the back with him. Holding his ribs, Kofi yelled at Punk, but he ignored him as he walked up the ramp. Meanwhile in the ring, Primo pointed off into the balcony, trying to distract his brother. When Carlito looked away, Primo stomped on his foot! Primo started laughing histerically hopped around, holding his toes. Carlito stopped and pushed Primo, who still couldn't stop laughing as they walked to the back together.

Backstage, CM Punk sat Serena down in the locker room backstage. Kofi stormed in, yelling at Punk for what happened, but he stopped him, and brought him out into the hall. Punk told Kofi that Serena was already upset enough over what happened, he didn't want to get her any more depressed. Kofi said that there was something wrong with her in the head. Punk said he didn't know, but he would take care of it. "It'll never happen again, I'm sorry. Next time, we got it." Kingston shook his head as Punk walked back into the locker room.
The No. 1 Contender to the Welterweight Championship, Matt Hardy, made his way to the ring, grabbing a microphone. He said, "It's my understanding that at the pay-per-view in under a month now, all the matches will be specialty matches, so it stands to reason that if I cashed my Welterweight Title shot, I could make it a ladder match, that's something I've been good at over my career. But then, I come to find out that there's already a ladder match taking place at Risky Business, so I figured, why don't we take it a little higher?" Hardy pointed at the rafters above the entrance ramp, signifying that he was looking for a scaffold match! Before he could go on, "Pricless..." hit over the speakers and Ted DiBiase, Jr. made his way to the ring. DiBiase mocked Hardy, saying he didn't belong on the Risky Business card -- despite his title shot, he is still ranked at the bottom of the Welterweight division. Hardy said he won the shot fair and square, "and if memory serves, Ted, I beat your old partner in the Feast or Famine match to get it." DiBiase laughed at Hardy, then said, "You know, you're right, that's true, but, at least MY former partners, aren't going to jail your BROTHER." Hardy started pacing, peeved at what DiBiase said. He continued, "Matt, I'll put it to you simple... Let's not take it higher, let's go lower. Let's put a briefcase on a pole in the corner of the ring. And in that briefcase, let's put your title shot and 100,000 of my own dollars. And when I win, I get to keep both. Think about it." Dibiase started to turn away, but Hardy immediately accepted, saying "it's on!" and then clubbing DiBiase in the side of the head! DiBiase dropped to the mat and rolled from the ring, grabbing his head.

Chavo Guerrero and Santino Marella made their way to the ring as we returned from commercial break. Chavo grabbed a microphone, saying that since he had a title shot from Feast or Fired as well, maybe he should "cash in for a Scaffold match, and toss Evan Bourne off the top of that tron." Santino then suggested he "give it to Santino, who can cash it in in a much safer match." Guerrero told him to shut up. Evan Bourne's music hit over the speakers and he and Bryan Danielson made their way down to the ring. Danielson had a mic in his hand, interrupting "Or, or, or... And this might be hard for you to accept, Chavo, because your other option is to shut up! And tap out." Danielson dropped the mic and slid into the ring.
CRUISERWEIGHT MATCH: Bryan Danielson w/Evan Bourne vs. Chavo Guerrero w/Santino Marella
Danielson and Chavo immediately started to trade blows, but then the "American Dragon" sent the "Mexican Warrior" to the ropes and began to take control. Danielson dominated for a few moments, until Chavo was able to get a cheap shot in, thumbing Danielson in the eye on the corner. He stumbled out, allowing Guerrero to take control of the match. Guerrero beat down Danielson for several minutes, looking to have the match in-hand when Beth Phoenix started walking to the ring. Phoenix began chasing Santino around the ring, eventually he crossed into the ring. Beth rolled into the ring, but Chavo grabbed her, mocking her. The momentary distraction was enough for Santino to get away, but also enough for Danielson to get up to his knees and chopblock Chavo! The last of the fighting Guerreros dropped to his knees, and Beth slid out of the ring. Danielson then jumped over Chavo and locked him into Cattle Mutilation! With the submission locked in, it didn't take long for Chavo to tap out! On the outside, Bourne helped Beth up, but she pushed him away, continuing to make a b-line for Santino.
Winner via submission: Bryan Danielson - (8:04)
Backstage, Mark Henry stepped out of his locker room, and Shane Helms came running by. He stepped behind Henry, saying that "he needed to help" him. Henry stood by for a few moments, but then reached his arms back and picked Helms up onto his shoulders! He walked out into an opening, where the Grey Shirt Security walked around the corner. Henry handed him off to the Grey Shirts. One of the Grey Shirt members explained to him that they were removing him from the locker room because they needed a room for the women. They laughed at him, "What did you think we meant?" Helms laughed twice, and then collapsed to the ground, out of breath. Henry walked off, heading toward the ring.

Backstage, Jay Roclass met Maryse in the hallway outside the women's locker room, as she finished tying off her top. She asked him if he was ready. He said he thought so. Desmond Wolfe interrupted them, offering some advice for Roclass regarding Paul Burchill, and that was not to fight him. "I know I can beat him, I have beat him, but I don't know if YOU can beat him, Jay." Roclass, offended, told Wolfe that he COULD beat Burchill, and he could beat Wolfe as well, but he was hoping Apollo Creed would change his mind, giving him a match against PJ Money. Wolfe backed off, saying he wasn't trying to tell Roclass what to do, then left, saying he would see him in the ring before he put his sunglasses back on and walked away.
INTERDIVISION MATCH: Mark Henry vs. Zack Ryder w/Rosa Mendes
The "World's Strongest" heavyweight, Mark Henry, made his way to the ring first for this interdivisional match and received a mixed reaction. The cocky Zack Ryder made his way to the ring next, along with the lovely Rosa Mendes, and he received primarily boos from the sold out crowd. Ryder used his speed in the early going to stay in the match, but Henry proved to be too powerful, finishing every momentum swing before Ryder could get too far in control. Henry finished off Ryder with the World's Strongest Slam for a pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Mark Henry - (8:07)
Joey Styles and Coach run down the Risky Business card, which is now shaping up to be a very exciting night. In addition to the matches previously announced, they revealed that Bryan Danielson, Chavo Guerrero, Santino Marella, and Beth Phoenix will ALL be challenging Evan Bourne for the title at the PPV in a Championship Scramble Match! Shelton Benjamin had challenged Desmond Wolfe to a submission match! And now, it could be announced that Jack Swagger and Randy Orton would be competing in a Falls Count Anywhere match! Finally, they announced that next week on the show, C.M. Punk and Kofi Kingston would once again team up against the Colons.

Backstage, Randy Orton glanced back and forth at his partners tonight - M.V.P. and Shelton Benjamin. He asked, "How did I get on a team with you two?" M.V.P. said he was wondering the same thing. Orton shook his head. "No, no... Let's put the past behind us. Tonight is not about that. Tonight, I need to beat Swagger. Shelton, you want revenge on Wolfe. And you want a chance to prove yourself once again. It's not that hard for the three of us to get along for one match. We win together, we leave seperate. Let's go."
INTERDIVISION MATCH: Christian vs. Big Show
Big Show made his way to the ring, solo, for the next match-up, as he tried to improve Jeri-Show to 4-0 in singles competition against E&C. Christian made his way to the ring next, receiving a huge pop from the fans. Much like the previous contest, Show seemed dominant in the early going, stifling any offense that Christian could amount. With the match in firm control, Show stopped with Christian in the corner to taunt him to the crowd. Christian signalled the referee over to the corner, signalling that he was bleeding. The ref walked over, but then Christian ducked out of the way as Show charged the corner, smashing the referee against the turnbuckles. With the ref down in the ring, Christian grabbed a chair and climbed back into the ring. He smashed Show over the head with the chair not once, but twice; the second time, the chair stuck around his neck. Christian then dropkicked Show, sending him out of the ring like a falling tree. The referee returned to his feet, and started counting out Big Show. Show slowly began to stir as the ref got to 7, and was back to his feet as he reached 9, but he counted 10 just before Show slid back into the ring, and he counted him out of the ring!
Winner via countout: Christian - (8:13)
Big Show threw the chair into the ring, and Christian bailed to the outside. Big Show slammed the chair down in the ring and pointed at Christian. He then reached behind him and pulled the referee -- former athlete Charlie Haas -- towards him. Show grabbed Haas by the throat and gave him a huge chokeslam, directly onto the steel chair! Show continued to hold on to him though, and pulled him to his feet. He reared back and gave Haas a knockout punch, sending him flopping out of the ring with a thud. Big Show then stood in the ring and stared at Christian, scowling as the show faded to its last commercial break.

MAIN EVENT | SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH: Desmond Wolfe, Jay Roclass, & Jack Swagger vs. M.V.P., Randy Orton, & Shelton Benjamin
With Lt. Commissioner serving as referee following the vicious assault on Charlie Haas, it did not take long for this match to errupt into an all-out brawl. The team of Roclass, Swagger, and Wolfe made their way to the ring first, receiving mostly boos but a few cheers for Roclass's valet, Maryse. Benjamin, MVP, and Orton made their way to the ring next, also receiving a mixed reaction. Benjamin and Wolfe did not take long to begin fighting out of the ring and into the crowd, where they disappeared. The battle between Orton and Swagger started in the ring, though they, too, eventualyl brawled out of the ring and up the ramp. This left Roclass and MVP in the ring, and the two men stared each other down. The two men stepped into the ring as the WWA Champ, Paul Burchill stepped out on the stage, staring down Roclass. Roclass and MVP battled it out in a great singles match, despite the fact that it was supposed to be a six-man tag. After several minutes of back-and-forth action, MVP took control of the match, forcing Roclass into the corner. He went for a running big boot, but Roclass ducked out of the way, and MVP ended hung up with his leg over the top turnbuckle. Roclass grabbed MVP and pulled him off the ropes with a high-impact STO. Roclass then hooked both legs for a pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Jay Roclass, Jack Swagger, & Desmond Wolfe - (12:07)
Striker grabbed a microphone after counting the fall, asking Roclass what his decision was regarding Burchill's challenge. Roclass stopped to look around as the fans seemed reluctant. "Burchill, I wasn't going to accept this match, I didn't like the fact that you thought you were going to 'prove yourself' as a champion by beating me, but then I was told that I would get to choose the stipulation as challenger. So, I thought about it... And you know, a lot of match ideas have been thrown around here lately, but I know there's a match that you love. So, I'm going to take you on in your match style, and I'm going to take your title -- a London Street Fight. Your rules, my victory -- MY World Championship. I'll see you at the pay-per-view.
