Now I dont want the MOD to get all upset, I dont want this stickied or bumped or anything, but instead of trying to sift through all the predictions at the end of the year in the MLB thread, why not have our own?
Here are the choices:
AL East AL Central AL West AL WC AL Champion AL MVP AL CY AL ROY
NL East NL Central NL West NL WC NL Champion NL MVP NL CY NL ROY
World Series Champion
So here is mine:
AL East: Red Sox AL Central: Tigers AL West: Mariners AL WC: Yankees AL Champions: Red Sox or Mariners AL MVP Joe Mauer AL ROY Austin Jackson AL Cy Young Cliff Lee or Josh Beckett or Lester
I think the Red Sox either come together, their offense is A+ and things go great, win the division, pound teams in the playoffs, etc win the world series....OR...they struggle, they cant hit, they get older and hurt and fight for 3rd place with the Rays.
It's either or for me on the Sox this year, I do expect Beckett to do great if he doenst sign and win the CY or it to go to Lester or Lee if Beckett does not have a contract year
Jacoby Ellsbury, Desmond Jennings (Once Crawford is dealt), Travis Snider, Fausto Carmona, Gordon Beckham
NL East: BRAVES NL Central Cardinals NL West Dodgers (KERSHAW!!!) NL WC Phillies NL MVP DUH! NL Cy Roy Halladay..Kershaw might steal one before Roy retires NL ROY: Jason Heyward NL Champions: Atlanta Braves
I have said it again and again, if the Phillies have problems, the Braves are good enough and ready to take their crown and pass them. The Braves have the best rotation in that division and if Heyward is what they think he is, they might even have the best overall lineup.
If the Phillies hit well, stay healthy, dont get old, Hamels turns the corner and things go well, they steamroll the NL
Justin Upton and Clayton Kershaw, two of my break out SUPER stars for 2010
2010 World Series champions: Boston Red Sox or the Atlanta Braves

I'll do AL/NL Champion and World Series predictions once the postseason rolls around
