Like it or not, people have their feelings about suicide "victims" that are NOT going to change. Deal with it.

Part of doing that is not caring what others have to say. Whatever Kanyon's depression stemmed from, I doubt it was fans bashing his homosexuality.

I always like Mortis. But Kanyon was a great innovator in the ring. Sad to hear about this and condolences to his family over this Easter weekend.

Like it or not, people have their feelings about suicide "victims" that are NOT going to change. Deal with it. People are too quick to write off suicide as a 'cowards way out' - and while sometimes that might be 100% correct, none of use know what Kanyon was going through or the demons he had. People should wait longer than a day to come up with their own two cents - especially over someone's death. Like oh I dunno how long they should wait... maybe until ALL of the facts surrounding his death are released? He was a human being, and more so he was a guy who tried entertaining us wrestling fans for years. Surely asking for some respect of people isn't too much of a tall order? BTW, I'm not bashing you bro, I was addressing those people you mentioned, not you yourself.

Mortis will go down as one of the coolest looking wrestlers of all-time. He was one of my favorites to watch on WCW Saturday Night back in the day. Really a shame. Quoted for truth. Well said.

Although it sucks that he died, its interesting to see the amount of people that start praising him only now like he was the greatest ever cause the same thing will happen with the next wrestler that dies.

NO ONE is doing that, we're sharing memories and talking about his career. I'd imagine the majority of people who couldn't careless or just don't 'get it' weren't wrestling fans or at least WCW fans when he was really given a chance to shine and show his talent. The guy was a phenomenal talent, God forbid those of us who were fans talk about him.

I did remember seeing him, from when he debuted as Mortis, to when he turned on Raven and the Flock, to when he got thrown off the Triple Cage at Slamboree and into his WWE run which didn't really last long. It just seems like a lot of people are all of a sudden praising him to be the greatest just cause he died. If that first post came off looking a bit like an ass, it wasn't my intentions.

hey I always enjoyed kanyon not because he died.. I have his theme in my playlist and on my mp3 player for a long time now. He's on my myspace freindlist. i once sent him a emssage when he came out and said he may be a gay bastard, but we love him anyways lol My favorite time was when he was with Raven and Saturn. I'm not praising him because he died... he was one of my favorites.

I understand what you mean, I just didn't know how you meant it, since its hard to judge that sort of thing through text, you know? No worries, thanks for clearing it up.
