I like that you brought Curt Hawkins back up to be a member of the Dudebusters, and the six man tag match should be decent. I can dig Jericho versus Mysterio, although I am not a fan of Mysterio. I am not a huge fan of the opening contest as it seems thrown together, but I may be incorrect because this is the first show I am reading out of the diary. MVP and Henry winning is okay, but I think R-Truth and Morrison would have been the better choice. I love that you gave Zeke a manager, because he can seriously be a dominant force with a mouthpiece. I am a Goldust mark, so I cannot say I love the fact that he was fed to Zeke; however, it does make sense. A Kane/Zeke feud is interesting and it should help Zeke look like a serious force, although Kane is pretty dry at this point. I really do not like Batista coming to Smackdown to make a promo as I view him as a Raw superstar now – it seemed like a random way to build up their match at the PPV. I love Vickie and I love the unfair match she set up for Beth. A solid first hour main event, and the right trio went over. I do hope the Dudebusters pick back up their heat in time. I love the Punk promo and it is actually making me excited for the Dog Collar match against Mysterio. I am not a fan of Drew randomly facing Darren, but Shelton causing the disqualification makes the situation a little better. I love the idea of having Shad and Paul turn heel and become “classy.” I think I recall someone else doing it in their diary and it worked out well, so I am sure you can too. Beth winning was the right call because it helps her build back up her dominant character. Jericho winning is fine, but it doesn’t do much for me. Edge leveling Jericho with the Spear is good, but I hope Jericho gets the momentum going into Extreme Rules. Overall it was a decent show. Some things did not make much sense to me, but I also have been out of the loop.

-Nice open segment, looks like a good episode. -Good Tag match, not sure about Face vs. Face though, but at least the ending furthers a Shomiz/JM/RT feud. -Zeke with a manger is very smart, good for him to beat Goldust. -Nice promo from Batista. -Match looks good. -I like Edge&THD winning, should build momentum going into Extreme Rules. -Shelton going for gold? -Good Promo, but the fetus part was too far for me tbh. -Good that Darren didn't win, Shelton vs. DM? Bryan vs. Young/LG/Punk? -Nice to see BETH WIN THE TITLE! -Very Good match, makes sense for Jericho winning as he and Edge win going to Extreme Rules. -SPEAR! SPEAR! Good way to end the show. -Good edition of Smackdown!

Monday 19th April 2010 | East Rutherford, New Jersey Live on USA! "Burn It To The Ground" by NicklebackWWE Superstars TapingAlicia Fox and Katie Lea def. Eve and Gail Kim Christian def. Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match - We kick off RAW tonight with a limousine pulling up, and with that, 'The Animal' Batista steps out of the limousine, the crowd booing as tonight, Batista is not even scheduled to be competing, and so his appearance here is baffling. Batista heads for the arena, as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler talk about how John Cena is facing Sheamus tonight; he doesn't need 'The Animal' around! - The opening video package airs as we then cut to the live arena where pyrotechnics go off, and the Hartford Civic Center crowd are energised for tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW, with six days until Extreme Rules; live on pay-per-view! Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler hype John Cena facing Sheamus, but also we will have an eight man tag team match featuring ShoMiz teaming with Legacy to take on MVP and Mark Henry & John Morrison and R-Truth! - The theme of Batista hits the arena to loud boos, the lights going out sans a spotlight, and 'The Animal' makes his way down the rampway wearing a suit; Batista expressionless, wearing shades to cover his eyes. Batista climbs into the ring to boos as he grabs a microphone mentioning that with six days until Extreme Rules, he wants to make sure that he is at an equal level with the WWE Champion, John Cena, and so he has given himself a match tonight, with cooperation from The Lonely Island; the Guest Hosts for tonight, where it will be Batista taking on Triple H! The crowd go nuts as Batista continues, mentioning that the reason he wants to be equal with John Cena, is because he will then not be accused as being a fluke and a coward by beating Cena half to death by the critics at Extreme Rules. Batista tells everybody that he's doing Cena and the fans a favor and listening to them for once; and so he's given them all a reason to be joyful about. Batista states that he plans to annihilate Triple H tonight for Sheamus at Extreme Rules, and in return, Sheamus will weaken Cena for him! Batista smirks as the crowd boo, but the theme of Triple H suddenly hits setting off the audience! Triple H stands on the rampway and asks Batista if he does truly believe his own hype. Triple H mentions that Dave just goes wherever he wants, whenever he wants, but he's sick of Batista just being in everybody's face; first getting mad because a midget ruined his chances at being World Heavyweight Champion; so what does he do? Move to RAW and take out the WWE Champion instead! Triple H wishes Batista luck in their match tonight as Batista looks ready. Commercial - MVP, R-Truth, John Morrison and Mark Henry defeated The Legacy and ShoMiz A solid eight man tag team match to open up RAW tonight, as the SmackDown combination of R-Truth and John Morrison were teaming with the men they rivalled this past Friday on SmackDown, MVP and Mark Henry, as they are technically in the same boat, in trying to take the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships from Big Show and The Miz. Miz was arrogant with Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes, acting a bigshot and playing team captain; MVP wouldn't have any of it, though. It would be Mark Henry isolated, with assistance from a big boot from Show as Legacy and ShoMiz four-teamed the 'World's Strongest Man', but he soon got the tag to John Morrison. Morrison made the save, and Miz soon went for the Skull-Crushing Finale; Morrison reversed and rolled Miz up for three! - John Morrison celebrated with R-Truth as MVP and Mark Henry glared at the combination; everybody wants a shot at the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships lately it seems. The Miz looked angry as Big Show comforted him, the two grabbing their belts and leaving. Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes were left in the ring as the crowd booed, Legacy grabbing microphones and blaming it on the WWE Universe and their obscene obsession with Bret Hart and Randy Orton! Commercial - We return to RAW as Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes were still stood in the ring; the two talking about how Randy Orton and Bret Hart are things of the past, mentioning how the fans just continue to buy into the charade and liking the past. Cody talks about how at twenty four, Randy Orton became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion of his time, meanwhile, Cody is twenty four now, and where is he after being in the company for two years just like Randy? He's pushing daisies in Legacy with his good friend, Ted Dibiase aged twenty seven week in and week out, whilst double-their-age Bret Hart is semi-main eventing WrestleMania! They say it's ridiculous, but suddenly 'Voices' hit, and the man himself, Randy Orton stepped out to a huge reaction! Orton spoke about how he used to mentor Legacy, but how stupid he was! Orton mentions that he was the World Heavyweight Champion, but he got to that level with having passion for the business; not betraying higher ups! Orton says he likes how Rhodes and Dibase continue to try and take out legends, because that's what brought him to the top once as the 'Legend Killer', but he says that he no longer needs that; in fact he wants to prevent that from now on! Orton challenges Legacy to a tag team match with Bret Hart at Extreme Rules, but when asked by Dibiase what the stipulation will be, he decided on a street fight! The crowd popped as Rhodes and Dibiase had evil intentions it seemed. - We cut to the backstage area as Maryse is shown walking down a corridor, and for some reason Maryse has been assigned to a bikini match tonight on RAW; her opponent? Not announced yet, but we'll find out momentarily! Commercial - We cut to the ring as the WWE Divas Champion, Maryse is stood in the center, and she has a microphone in hand and wearing a bikini as she begins to talk about how she was assigned to shed her skin tonight, everybody in the WWE Universe knowing that she has an important bikini contest this Sunday at Extreme Rules where her title is at stake. Maryse asks for her opponent to get this over and done with without getting any bruises on her pure, silky skin. Suddenly, Jorma Taccone appeared on the stage, of Lonely Island as he asked the WWE Universe if they loved divas! Maryse tells Jorma to cut to the chase, as Jorma announces that she will face Kelly Kelly's friends tonight. Maryse is confused, but the theme of the Bella Twins hit! - The Bella Twins defeated Maryse in a handicap bikini match Wasn't very good a match, nor was it very long, but it did go down very well as Kelly Kelly popped up on the stage, Jorma Taccone standing and putting his arm around her whilst watching in awe as these three divas wrestled it out in bikinis. Maryse tried to take down Brie, before going for the French Kiss DDT but Nikki tripped her; Brie bridged over for the three! - Maryse went nuts as the crowd cheered, The Bella Twins celebrating in victory before Kelly Kelly headed down for the ring as Maryse rolled out of the ring and attempted to leave with her WWE Divas Championship. She then turned to face Kelly; getting a good pop as Kelly pulled out a water pistol! She squirted Maryse as Maryse ran away in fear of the bitter coldness of the water! - We cut to the backstage area as John Cena was standing around with Josh Mathews, and Josh asked the WWE Champion of a last-minute word going into Extreme Rules. Cena told Mathews that he's happy; Josh is happy. Thus, everybody's happy. Except from somebody called Dave Batista. He says that Batista is obsessed with his spot; why? Because he wishes he was better than him. But the loss to him at WrestleMania XXVI proves to everybody that he believes his hype; and thus he will fail! Cena tells Batista that he can hope and hope, but he will quit this Sunday in I Quit! Cena lastly comments on Sheamus, saying that he's the roadblock; but he will surpass him. Cena is prepared. Commercial - We return to the backstage area as David Schaffer is standing by, talking to Evan Bourne about how impressed he is with Evan's quickess. He asks Bourne immaturely for an autograph, looking for paper before William Regal walks in to boos, threatening to get Evan out of the way. As Shaffer returns from his venture for a scrap of paper, he turns around to find the much larger Regal in front of him. He reminds Schaffer of the situation with Kofi Kingston, and how tonight he wants to put an end to it. Schaffer asks what is it he requests exactly; Regal demanding an Extreme Rules match with Kingston! Schaffer shrugs and accepts. - John Cena defeated Sheamus by disqualification A solid first-hour main event here, as John Cena and Sheamus fired back and forth with heavy blows, both men simply attempting to get the better of the other man. Sheamus and John Cena share a lot of history with one-another, especially from this past winter as Sheamus defeated Cena in a huge upset to win the WWE Championship. Cena was fighting for him and Triple H here, however; as Sheamus and Batista had bonded together to take out their respective opponent tonight in preparation for their respective matches this Sunday at Extreme Rules. Sheamus attempted the Pump Kick, but got the top rope and Cena nailed his hiptoss; Sheamus evacuating the ring! Sheamus soon rolled into the ring again, with a huge strike to the ribs of Cena with a sledgehammer! - The crowd booed as Sheamus dropped the sledgehammer in satisfaction, as John Cena fell to all-fours, clutching his beaten ribs and then setting up for the Celtic Cross, but Cena tried to fight it, just for Sheamus to drop him with the crucifix powerbomb! Sheamus taunted the crowd in attendance to loud boos before leaving. Commercial - William Regal defeated Kofi Kingston in an Extreme Rules match A pretty decent match here as Kofi Kingston came out with a trash can and a few toys in the trash can; the 'Jamaican Sensation' sporting jeans tonight for this street fight of an Extreme Rules match. William Regal had his brass knuckles out at the beginning of the match, but sharp kicks from the unorthodox arsenal of Kofi's moveset with the assistance of a trash can lid shielded the knuckle shots from Regal. Kingston was able to avoid the brass knuckles for the main part of this match, nailing the Boom Boom legdrop onto a trash can onto Regal before setting up for Trouble in Paradise, but when he tried it, Regal nailed him with the brass into the knee of Kofi! Kofi groggy, Regal hit him in the face for victory! - William Regal celebrated his win with holding his brass knuckles high; Regal getting many boos after defeating the fighting Kofi Kingston, as officials ran down to attend to the 'Jamaican Sensation'. A little sample of what to expect this Sunday, at the pay-per-view Extreme Rules! - We go to the backstage area as Batista and Sheamus were both seen standing face-to-face, discussing how things went swell with John Cena's annhilation earlier. Batista thanks Sheamus for his deed but Sheamus thanks Batista for opportunity. Sheamus encourages Batista to pay him back against Triple H tonight. Batista nods before leaving. - An advertisement for WWE Extreme Rules airs, live on pay-per-view this Sunday; from the First Mariner Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Commercial - We cut to the arena as the WWE United States Champion, Christian was shown sitting down at commentary; as this Sunday he will face Jack Swagger in a tables match for the WWE United States Championship. He talks about revenge on the 'All American-American' and firstly watching him tick in this match tonight. - Jack Swagger defeated Yoshi Tatsu A pretty decent back-and-forth match here, surprisingly, as these two ECW alumni battled it out here on RAW; Mr Money in the Bank mocking Christian throughout the match and talking trash. Yoshi Tatsu wouldn't go down though, as he slid out of many of Swagger's moves, even dodging the Gutwrench Powerbomb. Swagger almost lost too, on two occasions as the WWE United States Champion smirked from the announce table. Yoshi kept fighting, but Tatsu missed a diving crossbody, and Swagger nailed the Gutwrench Powerbomb for victory. - Jack Swagger celebrated his win, stepping outside of the ring and grabbing his Money in the Bank briefcase; Mr Money in the Bank waving his briefcase in Christian's face from the other side of the announce table. Christian soon got up and slapped Swagger! Christian and Swagger brawled at ringside before Christian tossed Swagger onto the table and pulled out the ring steps! The WWE United States Champion got prepared to jump onto Swagger, through the table, but Swagger ran up the rampway in relief! - We go to a corridor as Zack Ryder and Carlito were talking, but suddenly they were interrupted by a random man in a furr jacket with golden hair, wearing shades and holding a boombox above his head. He started playing the song 'Boombox' by The Lonely Island as this meant that this was our Guest Hosts appearing! Santino Marella appeared as he asked if this was Andy Samberg, the futuristic man saying no, but suddenly Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer appeared, asking Andy how it was going. Samberg dropped his boombox and told them that he was ruining his mysterious vibe. Santino started screaming in happiness and joy as Andy tried to run away, just for Santino to grab him by the collar! Marella told Andy not to be rude, but he had some suggestions for songs, pulling out a sheet of paper reading out 'Punch You in the Unibrow' instead of 'Punch You in the Jeans', 'Who Said We're Italian' instead of 'Who Said We're Whack', 'Marella-Olympics' instead of 'Space Olympics', and last but not least; 'Incredigood' instead of 'Incredibad'! Samberg tried singing out a bit of 'Incredigood' or so it would sound before David Scauffer scurried on, taking the paper from Santino and yelling Evan Bourne's name! Carlito and Ryder continued to be confused as Jorma Taccone appeared in full Ryder gear! Carlito says 'WE said you're whack'! before Ryder followed up with a simple 'You know it'. Taccone looked upset as we cut away. Commercial - An advertisement aired, promoting the shuffle-up of the WWE roster, as next Monday, at 7/8 PM CT, a three-hour RAW will air live for the WWE Draft! And as of Sunday night, everyone is a free agent, and everybody will start a fresh, only on USA! - The card for Extreme Rules was read out by Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler: Batista vs John Cena for the WWE Championship in I Quit; Chris Jericho vs Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel-Cage; Triple H vs Sheamus in Last Man Standing; Randy Orton and Bret Hart vs The Legacy in No Holds Barred; CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio in a Straight-Edge or No Straight-Edge Dog Collar match; Maryse vs Kelly Kelly in a Bikini Contest for the WWE Divas Championship; Christian vs Jack Swagger in a Tables match for the WWE United States Championship; and lastly added, Tag Team Turmoil for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships! All this Sunday, live on pay-per-view! Batista defeated Triple H These two certainly have met in the past, at WrestleMania 21, Backlash and Vengeance 2005. But tonight it was about taking down the other man and punishing him for another person. For Batista it was about weakening up the 'Cerebral Assassin' Triple H for Sheamus this Sunday at Extreme Rules; but for Batista also, it was about proving himself as dominant and being able to win just like John Cena, his rival did earlier tonight. The two just brawled around the ring and the arena, not giving either man a chance at momentum regain when in control; and Triple H nailed his spinebuster with the intention of damaging a muscle of 'The Animal', possibly to make Batista weak in his I Quit battle this Sunday with John Cena. Batista worked the ribs of Triple H that were still taped; revealed that Hunter had broken two ribs from the sledgehammer to the gut from Sheamus. Batista just gave Triple H too much abuse, and Triple H soon went down for three to a second Batista Bomb! - Batista celebrated his victory to loud boos as 'The Animal' looked so anticipated for his battle against John Cena this Sunday at Extreme Rules. Sheamus walked out to the rampway and smirked at Batista, who smirked back. Batista and Sheamus were tall as Triple H remained unconscious in the ring; and this Sunday, it'll be all about inflicting pain at Extreme Rules! RAW cuts to a close. RAW Results Batista def. Triple H Yoshi Tatsu def. Jack Swagger William Regal def. Kofi Kingston in an Extreme Rules match John Cena def. Sheamus; DQ The Bella Twins def. Maryse in a bikini handicap match John Morrison, R-Truth, MVP and Mark Henry def. Legacy and ShoMiz

Raw, nice opening segment and Batista/Triple H is always good, so I look forward to that. Great way to open up by putting four teams in one match, I hope to see ShoMiz retain the titles though at Extreme Rules. Interesting tag team match here, but I am still extremely skeptical on your use of Bret Hart, I just find it highly unrealistic, especially teaming him with Orton of all people. A Handicap Bikini match, okay, haha. The next match was well booked. Cena wins, but Sheamus gets the spotlight and builds his feud with Triple H. I am liking your use of Regal, he is definitely in need of a push on Raw. Glad to see Swagger with a victory, his match with Christian should be good, but I see Christian retaining. Very happy to see Batista over Triple H as it gives Batista some serious Extreme Rules momentum and I hope he defeats Cena, taking back the WWE Championship. Good Raw and I look forwar to reading your Extreme Rules.

We are in my favorite state in the world, New Jersey; however, you claim we are in the Hartford Civic Center which is incorrect. I like that Batista shows up in the limo to start the show and King and Cole hype that Cena doesn't need his interference. I like that Batista doesn't want his victory to be a "fluke" and his match against Triple H should be a solid main event. You are actually doing a decent job with the tag division and the faces going over makes sense. I like that Show is like a mother figure to Miz and comforts him when he gets sad. Legacy blaming the lost because of ShowMiz's obsession with the Harts. I like that you are furthering the Orton-Legacy feud; however, I hate that Orton is getting Bret Hart involved, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I'm not really a fan of the divas handicap bikini match, but it seems decent - although not very PGish. I like the Cena promo as it was effective. Kofi versus Regal should be a showstealer. I like Sheamus defeating Cena, although I don't think that was the smartest booking in the world. Regal defeating Kofi was the right call. I like that Batista and Sheamus have a little alliance going on. I love that you're building Swagger up slowly, and I've always loved the matches between Christian and Jack Swagger. Santino's segment was cute and well thought out, but I really hope Ryder gets a push soon. Good idea giving the card one last run-down. Batista defeating Triple H was the right call and Raw has some good matches set for Extreme Rules. Overall, you had a good storyline advancing show; however, some things make little sense.

-Good opening promo, Batista coming out of the limo is good -Eight man tag opener was solid, good that Morrison pinned Miz as Miz has owned him when they go at it -Legacy vs. Orton & Hart is an interesting match -Maryse losing to the Bellas doesn't make her look bad so I don't mind it -Sheamus beating on Cena with a sledgehammer to cause the DQ was a good idea -Not sure why Kofi/Regal was Extreme Rules and even less sure why Regal won -Swagger beating Tatsu would've been a fine match and glad Swagger won. I see Swagger losing at Extreme Rules, due to his Money in the Bank briefcase which I feel is more important -The Loney Island sketch seemed realistic -Sheamus interfering was the right move and Batista winning was great
Solid Raw, Extreme Rules is shaping up to be great.

Tuesday 20th April 2010 | Uncasville, Connecticut Only on SyFy! "Wild and Young" by American Bang- We open up NXT this week with Matt Striker in the backstage area, as there is no Rookies with him at the start of this week; Striker, the Host of NXT taking us back to last week on NXT, where it would be a Rookie battle royal, where the winner would be able to change their Pro and obtain a WWE Intercontinental Championship shot on SmackDown. It was a hard fought battle, but Darren Young was victorious with assistance from CM Punk, but the bigger shock was Young becoming a part of the Straight Edge Society and succeeding. On SmackDown, Young came so close to winning the belt and beating Drew McIntyre, but Young was interrupted by Shelton Benjamin and Daniel Bryan. Striker confirms that it's true what Daniel Bryan posted on his Twitter account; CM Punk will face Daniel Bryan in an independent dreammatch tonight! - The official theme song plays, as we cut to the arena, pyrotechnics going off, and Josh Mathews and Michael Cole introduces us to this week's edition of NXT, hyping up the main event as being an independent dreammatch, CM Punk taking on Daniel Bryan! With two weeks until the next elimination in the series, NXT gets physical! - Skip Sheffield (4-4) with William Regal defeated Heath Slater (5-3) with Christian A pretty decent match to start things off on NXT, as these two eliminated one another in the Rookie battle royal last week; and Christian had a good night last Tuesday night, as he retained the WWE United States Championship and overcame The Miz in a hard-fought battle. Skip Sheffield continues to impress with his personality, but Heath Slater's aerial tactics managed to disable Sheffield's strength mechanism for a time in the bout. Sheffield soon however managed to nail the Backpack Stunner and gather victory. - Skip Sheffield celebrated his victory as Heath Slater rolled out of the ring, Christian attending to him, but suddenly William Regal laid Skip Sheffield out with brass knuckles! Regal got loud boos as he stood tall! What is going on with William Regal lately? Regal has just laid out his Rookie! - An advertisement aired, promoting WWE Extreme Rules, live on pay-per-view this Sunday, Sunday 25th April 2010 from Baltimore, Maryland! Commercial - Returning to the backstage area, we watch The Miz as he is shown talking to Matt Striker about how he may have lost the WWE United States Championship, but two things still drive his engine; the fact that he is the WWE Unified Tag Team Champion and how much he wants to see Daniel Bryan fall. He continues to run down his supposedly ingrateful Rookie, Daniel Bryan before Bryan actually appears behind him, telling Miz that he didn't like him very much either, but he still goes on because he has the passion for the company that Miz just walked into with his reality television show gimmick. Daniel states that he needs no gimmick; and tonight, he'll show why he has been known as one of the best in the world! - Darren Young (7-2), Wade Barrett (4-5) and Luke Gallows with Serena defeated Justin Gabriel (4-3), Matt Hardy and David Otunga (7-2) with Chris Jericho A decent six man tag team match here but David Otunga remains without his Pro, R-Truth backing him up. Otunga was still dominant, however, against his rival in past weeks, Wade Barrett. Justin Gabriel and Matt Hardy didn't quite get along, but Darren Young was once again on fire with Luke Gallows. Gallows overpowered Matt Hardy as Hardy continued to try and fire back. Wade Barrett and David Otunga soon went over the top rope, however; and Young took the opportunity and connected with the Face-Cleanser for the three on Gabriel! - Darren Young celebrated his victory to boos as Luke Gallows and Serena raised his hands as winner. Wade Barrett knocked David Otunga down and out with a clothesline as Chris Jericho smirked; the duo leaving. Matt Hardy meanwhile attended to Justin Gabriel; Darren Young told everybody by yelling that CM Punk would wipe the floor clean with Daniel Bryan! Commercial - Michael Cole and Josh Mathews talk about Extreme Rules, this Sunday and run down the card. - CM Punk defeated Daniel Bryan (2-7) In what was known as an independent circuit's dreammatch, the 'Straight Edge Messiah' taking on once known as the 'Best in the World'. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan traded hard blows in the early goings, both men actually gaining a good reaction from the Connecticut crowd, the fans slowly getting behind Bryan as Punk stretched him out and just pounded on the poor NXT Rookie. CM Punk continued but Bryan mounted a comeback, Daniel taking Punk down and actually applying the Cattle Mutilation to a loud pop, but Punk struggled, reversed it into a rollup for a near fall! Punk and Daniel continued to brawl back and forth in fast-paced action, but Bryan tried a diving attack from the top, Punk caught him and the GTS finished it! - CM Punk celebrated his win to loud boos as he grabbed a microphone and bent beside Daniel Bryan's unconscious body, telling Daniel that he may have been the best in the world, but he is now a mere Rookie by NXT standards. Punk spoke about how the Straight Edge Society may be in its last week of initiation, but he has faith that Rey Mysterio will suffer, and he will surrender and will give into the resistance of the Straight Edge Society! Punk smirked as the crowd booed, NXT going off the air! NXT Results CM Punk def. Daniel Bryan Darren Young, Wade Barrett and Luke Gallows def. David Otunga, Justin Gabriel and Matt Hardy Skip Sheffield def. Heath Slater

NXT, I am pleased that Skip Sheffield defeats Heath SLater here, Sheffield is a favourite of mine, however, I love what you did with Regal. His character is developing great and laying out Sheffield is something I can see him doing. Good victory for the heels, I see Young and Barrett going onto big things. I am glad you went with CM Punk winning this one, Daniel Bryan just wouldn't have seemed right. Good NXT.

Extreme Rules is a nice card. Awesome graphics! Unsure about having Bret in the tag match with Orton, especially after seeing his performance at Mania, not sure how realistic that is. Didnt like to see Kofi lose, so I hope this starts a push for Regal. Interested to see how the Cena/Batista I quit match goes.

Friday 23rd April 2010 | Uncasville, Connecticut Only on MyNetworkTV! "Let It Roll" by Divide The DayWWE Superstars TapingDolph Ziggler def. Matt Hardy, Goldust and Mike Knox to gain contention to the WWE Intercontinental Championship (Hardy turned heel) R-Truth and John Morrison def. MVP and Mark Henry - We open up this edition of SmackDown to a recap of last week, where it was Chris Jericho taking on Rey Mysterio in what become a huge battle to see who was the better of the two, but in the end it was Chris Jericho who prevailed, cheating or no cheating. However afterwards, as the World Heavyweight Champion headed up the rampway in celebration, it would be Edge who vented his frustration on Jericho, and Jericho got SPEAR'd on the rampway! - The opening video package airs as we cut to the live arena, pyrotechnics going off and the crowd going nuts for SmackDown, two days away from Extreme Rules; live on pay-per-view this Sunday! Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcomed us to the show and referred to Extreme Rules, noting that tonight we would see CM Punk team up with Chris Jericho to take on Edge and Rey Mysterio in what should be a grand main event; but also, John Morrison and R-Truth get their shot at ShoMiz's WWE Tag Team Championships; all on SmackDown tonight! - We open things up with the theme of The Dudebusters, as the crowd booed; Curt Hawkins, Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta all wandering down the rampway to boos. The three climbed into the ring and grabbed microphones as Hawkins started things off, mentioning that they are The Dudebusters, and they'll do whatever it takes to climb the WWE mountain; knowing the beast that it is. Croft mentions that they don't only talk about good they are; they think of the future, too. Barreta states that the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships should be theirs soon, and a win over The Hart Dynasty tonight should ensure them of a shot at ShoMiz's titles! - The Dudebusters with Curt Hawkins defeated The Hart Dynasty with Natalya A pretty solid tag team bout to open up SmackDown tonight, as Curt Hawkins managed Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft in this match against their rivals as of late it seems, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. Smith and Kidd's teamwork was well done, as they managed to equalise against Croft and Barreta's great strategy sense, presumably from the hours of playing World of Warcraft and/or Call of Duty. Kidd soon attempted to apply the Sharpshooter on Croft, but Barreta pretended to have hurt his leg, capturing the official's interest, and this allowed Hawkins to sneak in the ring, lay out Kidd with the Laugh Riot (Lifting DDT), Croft covering for victory! - Caylen Croft dived up in joy to boos, as Trent Barreta hugged him; Curt Hawkins joining the duo in celebration as Natalya attends to Tyson Kidd; David Hart Smith not looking too pleased. The Dudebusters head up the rampway as the Hart Dynasty remained in the ring, but the theme of Cryme Tyme then hit; the rechristened combination of Shad Gaspard and Jayson Paul making their way down to the ring! Shad grabbed Natalya by the hair and shoved her down as David Hart Smith tried brawling with Gaspard, but Paul got involved; Cryme Tyme delivering the G9 on Smith! Cryme Tyme left, having made a statement! Commercial - We go to the backstage area as Drew McIntyre was stretching as he was suddenly joined by Shelton Benjamin! Benjamin put his arm around McIntyre and asked McIntyre if he had a match tonight, as McIntyre said that he hadn't actually asked Vickie Guerrero for a match tonight yet. Shelton laughed and told McIntyre that he'd see him in the ring tonight, and the title will be on the line! McIntyre looked stunned as Benjamin had finally caught the WWE Intercontinental Champion off guard! - We return to the arena as the theme of 'This Fire Burns' hit, the crowd instantly booing as CM Punk led out his Straight Edge Society, consisting of Luke Gallows, Serena and Darren Young. Punk led them down as he had a dog collar around his neck with a chain; and CM Punk walked hesitantly down to the ring, where he stood under a spotlight; red in the background on the audience, as his Society stood around the spotlight. Punk had a microphone as he began to talk about how his empire formed when he was a teenager; when his father and his mother enjoyed smoking cigars and sipping alcohol to heal their sorrows, Punk turned down their requests of trying alcohol or cigarettes and it turned out to be the purest decision in his life. Punk dedicated his life to Straight Edge, and now he wishes to save others. Punk blames Rey Mysterio for being his father in disguise; a man masked by the need of alcohol. Punk criticizes Rey for being selfish, and how he only wants to sabotage the Society, hence why this has been brought on to end the Straight Edge Society in exchange for his lifetime membership in the group. Punk tells the production truck to play his playtoy's music, because right now they were about to experience a dog collar match! CM Punk with the Straight Edge Society defeated Jimmy Wang Yang in a Dog Collar match An easy match for CM Punk, as Jimmy Wang Yang attempted to nail his high-risk unorthodox style of moveset, but the dog collar wrapped to his neck, and the chain caused Punk to use it to his advantage, and Punk manipulated and tortured poor Wang Yang. Punk choked Wang Yang and beat on him with his stiff kicks and forearm blows, evening strangling Wang Yang over the top rope, but Punk ended it with the GTS; and following that, Punk easily dragged Wang Yang around, touching all four corners. - CM Punk celebrated his victory to louder boos, as Jimmy Wang Yang remain unconscious on the canvas; Luke Gallows and Darren Young entered the ring, assisting Serena as well as Serena handed her savior, CM Punk a microphone. Punk told everybody that he managed to do it on a man of Rey Mysterio's basic size; only Rey Mysterio is lighter. And Punk still has the energy to compete in tonight's main event! Punk leaves with the Straight Edge Society as the crowd resume their booing. Commercial - Shelton Benjamin defeated Drew McIntyre by count out; McIntyre retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship A solid match here, as Drew McIntyre has finally been able to gain heat from the SmackDown audience. Shelton Benjmin was enthusiastic to get this match, following three weeks of being unable to have a match with the WWE Intercontinental Champion; McIntyre apparently having matches each and every week. Benjamin finally got it by McIntyre's idleness, however, and Benjamin was out to take down McIntyre and take home the WWE Intercontinental Championship. However, when Shelton attempted the Paydirt, McIntyre slipped out of the ring and left with the belt! - Shelton Benjamin looked angry as Drew McIntyre headed up the rampway, taking a breather and holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship high, causing Shelton to eventually chase McIntyre; and Drew quickly scurried to the backstage area; Benjamin in hot persuit! - We go to the backstage area as Vickie Guerrero was shown on a cell phone talking about how she would act as SmackDown General Manager this Monday on RAW at the WWE Draft, but was soon interrupted by Rey Mysterio, whom entered to a big pop. Mysterio asked Vickie if she liked wagers, as Vickie asked Rey immediately what he wanted. Mysterio mentions their relationship, especially since Eddie passed away, and he says how he's remained respect with her, but before Eddie passed away it seemed as though they had a strong bond; wagering often. Vickie again asked what Rey wanted as Mysterio told Vickie that if him and Edge won tonight; the Straight Edge Society on Sunday at Extreme Rules must be banned from ringside. Vickie asked what was in for her; Rey telling Vickie that he would do anything for Vickie if CM Punk and Chris Jericho won tonight. Vickie accepted. - Going to the backstage area, we see Ezekiel Jackson with Ranjin Singh, and it appeared as though Zeke was coming out for his match, next! Commercial - Ezekiel Jackson with Ranjin Singh defeated Finlay Actually not as one-sided a match as thought out to be originally, as Ranjin Singh guided Ezekiel Jackson through this match with the 'Fighting Irishman', Finlay, whom hasn't appeared on SmackDown too much as of late. Finlay used his street fighting abilities to take apart at Zeke, lashing out at Jackson. Zeke soon managed to switch momentum, however, as Ezekiel Jackson would clothesline Finlay, and begin to throw him around the ring with authority. Zeke ended it with a Uranage. - Ezekiel Jackson roared over Finlay's groggy body as Ranjin Singh celebrated big Zeke's victory, but Ezekiel Jackson hadn't had enough, delivering a second Uranage on the 'Fighting Irishman'! But that wasn't enough apparently, as Zeke would toss Finlay over the top rope, and then pick up the ringside padding, nailing a third Uranage on Finlay! Zeke stood ruthless, over a broken body of Finlay, a message for Kane? - A replay from WWE Superstars aired, as it showed highlights of Dolph Ziggler, Matt Hardy, Goldust and Mike Knox's battle for a future WWE Intercontinental Championship shot, in which Ziggler was victorious, but not before Hardy randomly attacked Goldust! - We go to Matt Hardy in the backstage area, as he is standing with Josh Mathews, and Mathews asks Hardy what has been goinng through his head lately. Matt refers to his previous absence from the SmackDown brand, saying how he was once viewed as a potential WWE Champion, or World Heavyweight Champion, but no; he's been left out. And he was on Superstars, the least watched program of the week competing for an opportunity at the WWE Intercontinental Championship: not the same thing! Hardy told Mathews that he respects everybody around him: Justin Gabriel; his unnamed brother, but jokes like Goldust need to keep out of the spotlight: his spotlight! Suddenly, Goldust rushed onto the screen, spearing Matt Hardy and pounding away at Hardy! The two were broken up by many officials. Commercial - Beth Phoenix def. Layla with Michelle McCool to retain the WWE Womens Championship Not that good a match, or long for that matter, as this one revolved around the new WWE Womens Champion having the odds stacked against her, as Team LayCool were out to try to take back the WWE Womens Championship that both divas were 'cheated out of' last week on SmackDown. Phoenix womanhandled Layla, easily deteriorating Layla and nailing the Glam Slam for the win. - Beth Phoenix celebrated her victory as Michelle McCool tried to sneak in from behind, but when Beth turned her head from celebrating with the WWE Womens Championship, McCool ran into a clothesline! The 'Glamazon' showed herself as the dominator of the SmackDown womens division; getting a good reaction from the crowd! - We cut to Matt Striker and Todd Grisham, as the two discuss Extreme Rules scheduled for Sunday night, live on pay-per-view from Baltimore, Maryland. They run through the card, scheduled to feature: Batista taking on John Cena in an I Quit match for the WWE Championship; Chris Jericho defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Edge in a Steel-Cage match; Bret Hart teaming up with Randy Orton to take on Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes of Legacy in a Street Fight; Triple H battling Sheamus in Last Man Standing; CM Punk battling with Rey Mysterio in a Dog Collar match, where it is joining the Straight Edge Society vs Ending Straight Edge Society!; Also, Maryse defends the WWE Divas Championship against Kelly Kelly in a Bikini Contest; Christian defends the WWE United States Championship against Jack Swagger in a Tables match. And lastly, in a match just added to the card, ShoMiz defends the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships against The Hart Dynasty, Cryme Tyme, R-Truth and John Morrison, MVP and Mark Henry & The Dudebusters in Tag Team Turmoil!Commercial - Edge and Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho and CM Punk with The Straight Edge Society A great main event tonight, as Rey Mysterio had to win this if he was to eliminate the Straight Edge Society from being at ringside in what could be CM Punk's last stand with the Society, this Sunday in the Dog Collar match. Edge and Rey Mysterio teamed like they did in 2002, as the former WWE Tag Team Champions did great against the World Heavyweight Champion and the 'Messiah'. Punk and Jericho did work the legs of Edge, however, and it worked well as the two really made a dominating and convincing combination. Luke Gallows and Darren Young at ringside also made for a good distraction for the 'Rated R Superstar', Edge finally getting the tag to Rey! Mysterio ran out in a big array of amazement, taking out Luke Gallows and Darren Young, dodging Serena's distractions and nailing a double 619 on Punk AND Jericho! Edge SPEAR'd Jericho as Mysterio 'Dropped the Dime', both men pinning their rivals simultaneously for victory! - Rey Mysterio and Edge celebrated their victory in what was essentially a two-on-five handicap match, Chris Jericho rolling out of the ring and grasping his World Heavyweight Championship whilst Rey Mysterio smirked at CM Punk groaning and being helped out by his Straight Edge Society assistants, Luke Gallows and Darren Young! Extreme Rules rolling near as SmackDown went off the air! SmackDown Results Edge and Rey Mysterio def. Chris Jericho and CM Punk Beth Phoenix def. Layla to retain the WWE Womens Championship Ezekiel Jackson def. Finlay Shelton Benjamin def. Drew McIntyre by count out; McIntyre retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship CM Punk def. Jimmy Wang Yang in a Dog Collar match The Dudebusters def. The Hart Dynasty

SmackDown, not a huge fan of The Dudebusters going over The Hart Dynasty, but whatever. Obvious victory for CM Punk, and I hope to see the same result at Extreme Rules. Glad that Benjamin won via Countout as it allows McIntyre to retain the title. Glad that Ezekiel Jackson defeated Finlay, and I like his pairing with Ranjin Singh. Pleased to see Beth Phoenix retain the Womens Championship, as obvious as it was. Very happy that Edge and Mysterio win here, and the Straight Edge Society being banned from ringside is definitely a plus for the Dog Collar Match, especially with it being No DQ. I look forward to Extreme Rules.

The Dudebusters picking up the victory over the Harts is fine because it wasn’t clean. I like the feud between these two developing, and it should be interesting. Cryme Tyme with the post match beat down would have come off awkwardly on television – in my opinion. Punk’s segment was great, and his victory over Yang was a great idea. Drew getting counted out against Shelton works out well. Zeke getting the push and victory over Finlay works well for me. ShoMiz is going to have a hell of a time at the PPV. Edge and Rey Mysterio defeating Chris Jericho and CM Punk works out well as well.
