With the reports that Fergie is retiring at the end of the 2011 season, I want to know who Utd fans want or other fans think , will be the next Utd manager.

Whilst I hope Sir Alex is a long way from retiring, I would like Mourinho or Guardiola.
In a dream world, it would be Cantona, but he has no experance of management.

Jose Mourinho seems like the biggest name that would jump at the chance imo. Be a big way to return to english football.

I voted for Mourinho.....just above the rest so far. When Keane was doing well at Sunderland I thought he would be ideal, but done nothing for Ipswich

No idea. Hard question. I used to think it would be Pep but hes not leaving Barca anytime soon. I dont see Mourinho at any other English club other than Chelsea. I think one of the established top half managers outside the (real) top 4. Hope its no one foreign though.

Gotta be Mourinho imo. He's more or less publicly declared he wants to manage them.

When Keane was doing well at Sunderland I thought he would be ideal, but done nothing for Ipswich To be fair, his resources have been somewhat limited at Ipswich and they were on a few good runs midway through the season which has saved them from any relegation fears. As much as I hate him, Keane is a good man-manager and gains respect from players. David Moyes I reckon, thats who Fergie wants I think... I think Moyes is really under-estimated as a manager, one of the top managers in the game IMO. Well worthy of a shot at a big club like United, he's pretty much taken Everton as far as he can.

Mourinho or Moyes, but I can't even begin to imagine United without Fergie, will be very strange.

I try to follow Man U as much as I can but sadly these days I haven't got time. I really hope Fergie doesn't retire anytime soon and if he does he should stick around in some capacity.

If Mourinho doesn't go to City in the summer or Liverpool, maybe even Chelsea again before the end of the 2010/2011 season then possibly Manchester United. Orhwerwise... I really cant see it.

I think Mourinho is the only suitable replacement, but I think Sparky might get the job one day.

O'Neil would be a decent replacement IMO. I dunno what I'd do if Mourinho went there.

I don't think it will be Jose Mourinho, he doesn't appear to be a long-term manager. And that is what United will be looking for. I've been saying for the last couple of years that I want Martin O'Neill as our manager.
