I never got into the toy replica belt thing before, but the oppurtunity to add to my displays have got me interested. I had the Jakks CW replica belt from an old pack that came with Paul London/Chavo I believe and I just bought the TRU 2 pack with the spinner belt ,Edge/Cena. So I have 1 of each from the companies, and I like the Mattel medallion better than the Jakks spinners I have seen, but the straps on Mattels don't seem as good as Jakks. I fully intend on getting as many classic belts as I can from Jakks, but I was wondering if I should hold out for Mattel to make the modern ones or just go with Jakks on them too. I am probably gonna get the Walmart exclusive WHC with Orton/HHH ,but if the belt is subpar compared to Jakks I may just skip it. So any advice, opinions, etc? Thanks guys

I have pretty much all of the jakks and mattel ones released and the new mattel ones have a more realistic look to them and the straps are a ton better i would recommend any of the mattel ones but jakks did make a few nice ones like the us title, hardcore title, & winged eagle.

The Mattel belts are the closest thing you're going to find that cheap this side of getting a real replica. I bought the ECW Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship and they are replica quality for that price. The Intercontiental that's coming soon looks amazing and as close as the real deal you're going to find. The Jakks' belts were nice and they had a durability to them that the Mattel ones don't, but the styrofoam straps made them feel more "kid like" to me than the Mattel's faux leather straps do. It's just a matter of personal choice than anything man. Go with your gut.
