Got my Paraguay shirt earlier today for the Tourny I need to get the new Holland shirt, but it is a bit uninspiring. The away looks good though.

What are you lads plans for the World Cup then? Just watching at home or doing anything special for the England games etc.?
I plan to have my arse firmly planted in the sofa with some beers watching the games/in the pub with my Chelsea best mate watching the England games.

I'll watch most matches at home, might go to my brothers house in London to watch a couple of games or we might even go to some of his friends World Cup parties. I can't wait, will this month never end?!

Michael Ballack out of the World Cup. Damaged a ligament and won't be able to resume training for 8 weeks due to KP Boateng's tackle in the FA Cup final. Boateng isn't going to be well liked by the Germans now as he used to play U21 for them, before looking to switch to Ghana.

Booked it!
I am officially going to the World Cup to watch England V USA! Did it through Thomson, was £1195 each in total. This covers Match Tickets, Return Flights, Accomodation and Transfers!
Can't believe I'm actually going. Even when I bought the original Tickets through FIFA last year I still didn't really think I'd end up going. I've literally got my overdraft increased and put the whole thing on that!
All I can say is you only live once and it's a boyhood dream to watch England play in the World Cup.

I'm sure you're going to see a great game! With that being said, I'm anxious to see how far the US makes it this year. One can only wish they make it to the end, but a realistic guess? I really have no clue.

I really have no clue. I think the USA could reach the quarter finals but I think it will be round 2 for you With that prediction, would anyone else be up for a World Cup prediction league? it was fun when we did the Premiership predictions a couple of seasons ago

Keeps the board pretty active aswell during the World Cup. You going to do it?

The best thing about predictions is seeing how horribly wrong it goes

Keeps the board pretty active aswell during the World Cup. You going to do it? Will do, I'll work out a plan tonight, maybe predict each round of matches at a time. Actually, I'll wait until the teams have been announced so that we all have a better idea of who might be playing.

Surely there's a website that's doing it.

Surely there's a website that's doing it. I have joined the ESPN one but in that you predict the group winners and the rest of the knockout rounds before the tournament begins. This way, like DB said, it keeps the board a bit more active, plus this way we can do all individual results and no one has to sign up for other websites and that rubbish.
