For me, 1970 (Of which I have only seen the highlights) looks to have been a great WCc.
What about you guys?

2006 cause it's the only 1 I remember ;D I bet 50% of replys will be 1966 Scotland, the Dutch or Ireland have never won it so I can't use that idea.

Out of the ones I've watched fully, 1998.
Out of the ones I've seen highlights of, 1982.

2002, because it was the first one I was really hyped for. i was a bit too young for the '98 one, being only 5 and wanting to play alot more This one should be good as it's the "comming of age world cup" for me, and my mates.

1974 for me. The Dutch team would have been on a level with the Brazil team of 1970 they were so good. Its such a shame corruption in football meant that Germany would be handed the World Cup.

From the stuff I have watched on TV/Internet, I'd say 1990.

2002. Mostly because of the qualifiers and Beckhams amazing free kick to send us there. I always remember watching the games at like 7am before I went to school because of the time difference, sometimes we actually watched the games at school ;D. I also enjoyed Senegal's route to the quarter finals.

For the England games pretty much every class was watching and there was even a big screen put up in the cafeteria.

We did that at our school, I've never followed England and Holland didn't qualify for that World Cup so I just hung out with the people who weren't interested in football

1998, I had the game for the PS1 as well and was just completely addicted to it all, I even cried when Owen scored 'that' goal against Argentina

1998 by a mile. I really didn't like 2002, every game was always dark and at night, and apart from the England Games and the Italians going out to Korea, there wasn't that much else that happened, except from an amazing Brazilian Side dominating it.
I remember everything about '98. Every single Match, all the best Players of 'our' generation, e.g. Zidane, Ronaldo, Bergkamp, Batistuta, Shearer, Vieri, Del Piero, Henry etc. The Kits were all amazing, everything from the Owen Goal to the late Austrian Polster Goals, the Brazilian Side was one of my favourites ever, the Dutch and Argentinians were all amazing. Then there was the Croatians with Davor Suker getting the Golden Boot. Even the Morroccans with Chippo. I still watch my All of the Goals of the World Cup 98 DVD.

That Bergkamp goal has the be one of the greatest World Cup goals ever, perfect long ball, little flick past the defender then curled into the top corner. Brilliant! and on my birthday too which was a bonus!

Watched bits of 1994, but 1998 was my first proper one, ever since I've enjoyed them equally but I'm so excited for this one.
