AJ Styles, imo one of the greatest wrestlers in the world right now. But I think he will always be the name and face of TNA forever. Even with guys like Hogan, Sting, Angle, and others coming, AJ will always be the face of TNA. He has been there since day 1 and has put on some of the greatest matches in TNA history.
Even with the old WWE stars getting the spotlight, AJ will always be remembered as the face of TNA. Although Hogan is always promoted as TNA now, AJ in TNA. Even if AJ is not the gretest wrestler of all-time in TNA, he will always be that one guy that you will always remember. Anyone agree?

AJ Styles really, in my opinion, helped put TNA on the map. He is extremely talented and will be in TNA until the day the company dies. I view him similar to how Sting was in WCW.

easily the best original guy they have and definitely one of the best right now, he is a really awesome wrestler with tremendous ability, without him TNA might not be running right now

Well said! AJ is everything they bill him as. If wrestling was as hot as it was 20 + years ago, everybody would know his name.

Nice post, I definatly agree.
He needs to stop being a heel, it didn't work last time, and it's even worse now.
He should be a face & the TNA World Champ. Basically saying that TNA's Homegrown stars are better than any of these WWE rejects.

I disagree his first heel turn didn't work, because of that turn (alone) he's head and shoulders better on the microphone than he has ever been.

I disagree with the 'He sucks as a heel' comment. I'm enjoying AJ at the moment. He's my favorite part of TNA.

I think he has the skills to be a good heel, but i don't believe him. His mic skills are so much better than they were in 2002 when TNA opened its doors. We all know how good of a guy he is, which makes his heel turn weird. He is the exact opposite of everything he is claiming to be. The greats live the gimmick, they are that person to an extent atleast.

Im saying you need to believe everything you say and do to an extent. Edge has quite a few things in common with his '' persona'' imo. Edge has done some slimey things.

Agree 100%, AJ is no doubt the face of TNA, but admittedly his Flair-inspired heel turn was awkward at best, IMO.

AJ will always be TNA. Even moreso than Jeff Jarrett because Jarrett had a substantial national reputation before he ever thought of TNA. AJ, other than very limited exposure in WCW, made his name with TNA. Without TNA, it's very questionable whether AJ would have ever acheived everything he has in wrestling. At the same time, it's questionable whether TNA gains its national following with AJ and the rest of the early pioneers. So yeah, getting back on track, AJ will forever be the godfather of TNA.

if jerry lynn was still active in the x division, he'd be the only one fair to compare to aj styles other than perhaps daniels. aj has been there for the company through thick and thin, denying wwe invitations along the way. when i think of tna, aj is definetly one of the foremost thoughts.
