Thanks TombstonePiledriver, for suggesting a cw torso...after digging around in my parts box i found one..so been watching steamboat matches while fixing him up... with the cw torso on him im digging this figure even more..i appreciate all the comments and suggestions... im not sure why but honestly i am really really happy with how he turned out the head dosent seem to be much of a issue as it dosent look to out of place to me... but anyway here is a couple updated pics of him with the cw torso..enjoy below is my original post... comments are always welcome thanks everyone Hey all, after chatting with a few board members who have this steamboat about weather the head would work on a jakks body i decided to just take the plunge and give it my best shot... i have placed the mattel dragon head on my custom steamboat jakks body... first a comparison to the cs ric flair ( with my custom paint job) i consider this flair head to be about normal size and going from there this steamboat head while a little smaller dosent seem to bad... and now without any further delay the rest of the eye candy...lol at first i wanst thrilled but after putting the head on the body it seemed to me like the neck muscles in this peticular jakks torso seemed to help with making the head look more normal...to me any way... in the end im very happy with my new dragon and its time to avenge that loss to the honky tonk man!...lol rate/ hate or debate..all is welcome... rock on all:) ;D

Do you think the cruiserweight torso would help at all?

Looks good, just that the head is smaller and have different skin tone. Good one.

Do you think the cruiserweight torso would help at all? Exactly what i was thinking. Im not a big fan of the big ripped torso but I bet the CW torso would be perfect for it.

I think it's too small. The robe does hide it a bit, but not much. While it would be more expensive you might just be better off buying a Mattel Animal and doing a head and boot swap. While it would be an Elite body he's closer to RA size and has the same skin tone and the robe would hide the ab joint.

LOL G2.. well glad i could help i do appreciate you and tombstone suggesting the cw torso..once i found i had one i decided to give it a go... im glad it helped you decide and i look forward to seeing yours... a word of advice, popping the head off is a lil harder then doing it with jakks heads...there is a ball in the head part but the part that gose down into the neck has a hole in it and it gose threw to combine the torso... i wrapped a pice a cloth around his head a couple times and then clamped on with a pair of plyers to yank it out... the cloth prevents scrapping the head with the plyers... odds are there neck joint will stay in leaving you with the steamboat head and a empty hole for maybe the jakks neck ball joint... the cloth helps as ya really got to give it a good pull to get the head off a small pice wrapped around twice will prevent any damage to the head. also the pics dont do it justice but to the naked eye the skin tone difference is very slight you may have to make the hole in the steamboat head a lil bigger to fit the jakks ball joint in there.. i wasnt sure about giving this a try as a few kind members mentioned it may be to small but when compared to the cs flair head or the undertaker head from the pual bearer under taker 2 pack its not to bad..and the karate out fit as you seen fits great:) anyway glad i could help and i hope these pics help anyone else considering this... i am thrilled with this figure and been settling alot of the dragons old fueds all day today...lol rock on everybody:)
