I dont knwo about you guys but the Fact that The American Dragon got Fired is a good thing for me. Dont get me wrong i loved his cole angle and the nXt angle right now in the E.I just think with him gone its time for TNA to step up their game and start having true wrestling matchs in their company no more spot fest or hardcore gimmic junk matchs. They have angle/joe/aj/fallen angel/RVD/Wolf/now I would hope The dragon. This years Turning point could be epic with Angle vs The Dragon and we can start seeing mat based classics

I like hardcore matches and all that but I do agree with you here, they need to step up and put on good techinical matches, Angle vs. Danielson, Wolfe vs. Danielson, Styles vs. Danielson, there is endless possibilities that they can do if they sign him and use him to his potential

I really do not think that technical matches draw anymore. I feel like spot filled matches would be more capable of grabbing a viewer's attention than mat wrestling.

Spot monkeys wont draw any more then a mat technician. Great wrestlers are story tellers. Sabu (a spot monkey) isnt entertaining. Dan Severn, a mat technician, isnt entertaining. It takes a group of abilities to be draws.

I think for the most part tna is new fans fresh fans that are liking the Hardcore and all the gimmic matchs for the most part. They have not seen what Technical wrestling in full and how jaw dropping it can be to view.TNA needs to bring this back as they had when the company first began it also helped launch ROH back in 2002.I think that the X title needs to go back to being about no weight limits and a style. The scene could be epic spankey/wolfe/joe/kurt/rvd/american dragon/fallen/ ect.I think for the story tellin part if they had a belt to feud over it would make it much better.I just hope and pray Paul Heyman is the big surprise he would bring back 15-20min mat based classic I think as he did in early ecw to help draw in new viewers that dont see that in the wwe

And now possibly Bryan Danielson...
GREATEST.
ROSTER.
EVER.
Shame that Russo, Hogan etc. have no idea what to do with it.

wrestling is all about a matter of the viewers' opinions, the company will do their best to keep their viewers happy so it's tough to say one style is less entertaining then the others, they can usually tell what's bettet and gets peoples' attention by ratings and ppv sales
I think TNA should work on some technical matches for now and see if there ratings increase at all and if it doesn't work then do spot matches
