I dont have any pictures but I do have the jakks ring. If i'm not mistaken the mattel rsr and the jakks rsr are the same size actually but i'd still say just wait for the mattel one, it'll be available within the next 2 months

Yeah I figured that, but I was wonderin if da ropes height would be too tall for da Mattels ya know..
like it would look silly if Kane wasnt a lot bigger then the jakks ropes.
but yea I might just have to wait it out.

The rope height on all the Jakks rings, including the real scale, is way too low. Rey Mysterio figures tower over the top rope, let alone Kane. I'd wait for the Mattel one. I've got the Jakks cell one but I'll still probably get the Mattel one.

I use them in the ring sometimes and I think they work pretty well in there!

I would still wait for the Mattel ring cause Mattel has put out these great figs that are so much better than Jakks. So just think of how much better the Elite Ring could turn out to be.

Well for starters they are making the first 1,000 or 10,000 with a Smackdown set of ropes and skirt so you can swith between Raw & Smackdown.

From what I read they are going to be blind though meaning you won't know if you have one until you open the box.

Jon from RSC told me that Mattel has decided to hold off on these plans for the time being.

The only thing that could make Mattels RSR any better or different is to have the fabric mat and skirt cover a spring loaded under piece. Like a Spring ring mat. That's really the only thing that's missing from an RSR,mat bouncing capabilities. Otherwise there's not much that could be better or worse about it. I was looking forward to the SD setup though.Too bad that doesn't look like its happening.

Well it is still listed to have a set of stairs and a floor mat which ought to be pretty cool in the long run.

Here's the Basic 1 HHH standing on the ring apron of the Jakks RSR - The top rope is at crotch height on those figures. Imagine if the top rope was really at crotch height for everyone. Running the ropes would be like playing Russian roulette with one's sperm count. The stupidly low ropes were the major failing with the Jakks ring for me. I hope Mattel fixes this.

I see what you mean now, The top rope SHOULD be hitting the mid section of the abdomen on an average height figure. I do hope the Mattel RSR does fix that.

I never really realized that! I've have RSR's ever since 2004, and YES! Those ropes are way, way, way too short. I hope Mattel's rings are more acurate.

Not to be a d*ck, but this is really a senseless thread considering no one has the ring in question. He's mainly asking how Mattel figures look in a Jakks RSR.
