(AIRDATE: FEBRUARY 09, 2004)
WWE logo appears on screen.
Footage from last week is shown setting up tonight’s main event six pack challenge.
J.R.: Welcome to Monday Night Raw. The Rose Garden in Portland is rockin’ as tonight we will find out who will challenge Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania. Once again I’m Jim Ross here at ringside with Jerry “The King” Lawler.
King: J.R. we have a lot on tap tonight including that huge six pack challenge that will determine Kurt Angle’s WrestleMania opponent, but we are kicking things off with a Money in the Bank qualifying match.
MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH
CHRIS MASTERS VS. JEFF HARDY
Hardy punches away at Masters. He nails Masters with forearms and then goes to the ropes. Hardy ducks under, but gets caught with a clothesline from the other side. Masters pounds on hardy. Masters sends him in. Hardy leaps into the air, but Masters catches him and slams him down as Simon Dean looks on.
J.R.: Chris Masters has been impressive since coming over to Raw recently and his power seems to be keeping the high flying Hardy at bay. Only one of these men can join Smackdown’s Dynamite Kid and CM Punk in the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania.
Masters drops an elbow, but Hardy moves. Hardy kicks Masters and sends him in, but Masters reverses him into the corner. Hardy comes back with a cross body for a near fall. Hardy goes to the ropes. Masters catches him again and goes for a tilt-o-whirl, but Hardy turns it into a huracanrana and then dropkicks Masters to the outside. Hardy goes for a baseball slide, but Masters catches him and plants him on the floor. Masters stomps on Hardy and then pushes him back into the ring.
King: Jeff Hardy seems to be getting blocked at every turn. He may need a new game plan.
Masters drills Hardy with knees to the ribs. Masters pounds on him and delivers a back suplex and then a back breaker for a near fall. Chris Masters uses a short clothesline and then plants him with a side slam for a near fall. Masters knees Hardy in the back and then hit’s a suplex for another near fall.
J.R.: Chris Masters is in control and he may be headed to WrestleMania.
Masters sends Hardy in. Hardy ducks, but comes back right into a power slam. Masters drops an elbow and gets yet another near fall. Masters goes for a power bomb, but Hardy slips out and connects with Twist of Fate.
King: That was out of nowhere.
J.R.: This is the opening that Jeff Hardy needs.
Jeff Hardy goes up top. He comes off with the Swanton Bomb, but Masters gets his knees up. Chris Masters goes for the Master Lock, but Hardy rolls through for a near fall. Masters knees Hardy and sends him to the corner. Hardy goes up to the top and hits Whisper in the Wind. Hardy then plants Masters with a front face drop and goes back to the top. He delivers the Swanton Bomb. Hardy hooks the leg for the three count.
J.R.: The Swanton Bomb gets the job done as Jeff Hardy pulls out the big win here and secures his spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania. Right now let’s send it over to our colleague Gene Okerlund.
Gene: Joining me at this time is one of the participants in tonight’s six pack challenge. He is John Cena. John, tonight you will face five other men including Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, the Miz, Triple H, and a still yet to be named competitor for a chance to face Kurt Angle at WrestleMania.
Cena: Mean Gene, tonight may be the toughest challenge of my career. It may be the toughest challenge of the career of any of the participants, but the stakes are just too high. It doesn’t get any bigger than headlining WrestleMania in Madison Square Garden and challenging for the World Heavyweight Title. I’ve been waiting my entire life for this opportunity. I know it won’t be easy. I know it’s not a walk in the park. But tonight I plan to walk away from the six pack challenge with an all expenses paid trip to the granddaddy of them all. John Cena is going to WrestleMania!
Gene: Thank you very much John Cena.

WWE Rewind: Footage shows the non-title women’s match from last week which ended quickly in a double count out.
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
VICTORIA © VS. TRISH STRATUS
J.R.: Trish Stratus is about to get her opportunity at Victoria and the Women’s Title. This should be a heated contest to say the least.
Trish nails Victoria with forearms. She sends her in, but Victoria reverses. Trish comes back with a Thesz press and pounds away. Victoria turns Trish over and nails her. Trish turns her over again, but Victoria rolls out of the ring. Trish follows and the two fight outside. Trish rams Victoria into the ring apron and then pushes her back in. Trish slides back and slams Victoria and then drops a leg and gets a near fall.
King: This is the best kind of Divas action there is, the hot and bothered kind.
Trish applies the headlock. Victoria sends her in. Trish knocks Victoria down and goes to the ropes. Victoria kicks Trish and then delivers a suplex. She follows with a couple of elbows and gets a near fall. Victoria connects with a neck breaker and then rakes Trish across the ropes. Victoria elbows Trish out of the corner and then covers her for a near fall. Victoria stomps on Trish and then plants her with a side slam for a two count. Victoria pounds away and gets set for the Widows Peak, but Trish slips out and rolls her up for a near fall. Victoria kicks Trish and then nails her wit a dropkick. Victoria rams Trish into the corner and hangs her upside down. Victoria charges in, but Trish pulls her self up and then connects with a sunset flip for a two count. Trish pounds on Victoria and sends her in for a dropkick. Trish goes for the Chic Kick, but Victoria ducks and knocks Trish into the ropes and gives her a back suplex. Victoria makes the cover using the ropes for leverage, but the referee sees and warns Victoria. Trish clotheslines Victoria. She delivers two more and then goes for Stratusfaction, but Victoria lifts her and Trish lands on the apron. Victoria tries to nail her, but Trish ducks and slides under, then nails the Chic Kick. Victoria falls through the ropes to the outside.
J.R.: Trish connects with that Chic Kick, but unfortunately Victoria lands on the outside of the ring which won’t help Trish win the title.
Trish pushes Victoria back into the ring, but she rolls right back out. Trish tries to go out, but the referee is trying to keep Trish back. Victoria grabs her Women’s Title and she nails Trish with it. The referee calls for the bell.
King: It looks like Victoria has just saved her title once again thanks to a blatant disqualification.
Eric Bischoff walks out into onto the ramp.
J.R.: Wait here comes our General Manager Eric Bischoff.
Bischoff: Hold on. This has gone on long enough. The two of you need to settle this. I am not going to allow yet another match to go unsettled. So Victoria at WrestleMania on March 14 you will defend your WWE Women’s Title against Trish Stratus one more time. Only this time it will be falls count anywhere!
J.R.: Wow what an announcement from Eric Bischoff. Trish will get another opportunity at WrestleMania in what may very well be the first ever Women’s falls count anywhere match. I have to give it to Bischoff for making this happen.
World Champion Kurt Angle, U.S. Champion Booker T., and World Tag Team Champions Haas and Benjamin are talking in the locker room, but they make sure to not allow anything they say to be heard.
King: That looks like a big powwow going on their with a lot of gold being displayed.
J.R.: There has been a lot of collusion it seems with Booker T. and Angle and company as of late which has allowed Booker T. to avoid losing his title to Rey Mysterio and also allowed Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin to recapture the Tag Titles from Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard last week here on Raw. Later tonight we will see Haas and Benjamin in action as they take on the Nature Boy Ric Flair and Rey Mysterio.
King: That should be a great match.
J.R.: Right now let’s send it up to our new broadcast colleague standing by in the ring, Matt Striker.
Striker: Ladies and gentlemen my name is Matt Striker and I am glad to be here. Please welcome my guest at this time, he is one of the brightest stars in the WWE today. He is Mr. Kennedy! Mr. Kennedy it seems that as of late you have been running into some trouble with the resident Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Kennedy: What you should realize Matt Striker and I know you do because you were a school teacher so you have an understanding that most people don’t is that by getting in the face of Stone Cold Steve Austin I have brought the world’s attention right to my doorstep. When you come to the WWE you have to stand out. You have to set your goals high and by setting them on Austin I have done just that.
Striker: So with that being said, what might your next goal be?
Kennedy: Matt I want in the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania. I deserve to be in it. Because I know that Mr. Kennedy deserves to stand on the top of the ladder in the middle of Madison Square Garden and pull down that briefcase and take my place as the man who will become Champion.
The sound of glass shattering hits and out comes Stone Cold Steve Austin.
J.R.: Here comes the Texas Rattlesnake. Here comes the toughest SOB in the history of the WWE!
Austin: Mr. Kennedy, let me tell you a little story. You see I just had a meeting with Eric Bischoff. Now most of the time I find Eric Bischoff to be a huge piece of trash. He’s the kind of guy that will Fed-Ex your termination papers to you while you’re sitting at home with an injury. But today Eric and I were on the same page. Bischoff was all ready to put you in the Money in the Bank match. In fact he said I think Mr. Kennedy is going to be a huge Superstar and I want to give him the opportunity to succeed. I told Eric that was all well and good, but if he didn’t hear me out first I would take his sorry a$$ to this ring and proceed to make him scream like a little school girl for the rest of this show. So in conclusion what I am trying to tell you Mr. Kennedy is that at WrestleMania you will find yourself in the middle of the ring at Madison Square Garden. You will have the chance to succeed, but it won’t be standing on a ladder. It will be going one-on-one with Stone Cold Steve Austin! Oh and that’s the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so!
J.R.: Kennedy and Austin will collide at WrestleMania! What a huge contest that is going to be on the grandest stage of them all.
Mr. Kennedy slides out of the ring. Austin calls for a few beers to be tossed into the ring. Kennedy comes back in and tries to attack Austin. Kennedy knocks Austin into Matt Striker. Kennedy bails. Austin turns to Striker and gives him the Stunner.
J.R.: Welcome to the WWE Matt Striker!
King: School is in session and Striker just got his bell rung.

“WrestleMania XX - 35 Days Away”
J.R.: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. Still to come tonight our huge Six Pack Challenge to determine who faces Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Right now however the rookie Colin Delaney tries once more to get his first win, but his challenges keep getting tougher. He’ll face Batista right now.
COLIN DELANEY VS. BATISTA
Delaney slides out of the ring as Batista enters. The bell rings and Delaney slides back in under Batista. He quickly goes out to the apron again and this time to the top and comes off with a dropkick.
J.R.: A nice effort from Delaney here, but that dropkick has no effect on the Animal.
Delaney goes to the ropes, but Batista clotheslines him.
King: I think Colin Delaney’s head is in the fifth row.
Batista scoops up Delaney and gives him a power slam. Batista then connects with a spine buster and finally delivers the Batista Bomb to pick up the quick victory.
J.R.: Folks and just like that it is over. Poor Colin Delaney has a lot of heart and determination, but after suffering losses to both Triple H and Chris Masters, he fares no better here against the Animal Batista.
Smoke fills the aisle down the ramp and out of the fog comes Paul Bearer. Bearer gets into the ring with microphone in hand.
J.R.: The long-time manager of the Undertaker is here on Monday Night Raw.
Bearer: Oh Batista. You my friend have had plenty of time to reflect after burying my Undertaker alive back in October at Saturday Night’s Main Event. But you see Batista, my Undertaker did not cross over. He is not resting in peace. The Undertaker’s spirit has risen and he wishes to renew his quest to collect your soul. Oh Batista you will see the Undertaker again. You will see him face to face in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania! Oh yes!
King: What a bombshell. The Undertaker will return at WrestleMania and he will face Batista. That is going to be some battle J.R.
Batista: Paul Bearer, I have a message for you to take to the Undertaker.
Batista kicks Paul Bearer and gives him the Batista Bomb. Batista picks the microphone back up again.
Batista: See you at WrestleMania.
J.R.: WrestleMania is shaping up to be one of the biggest in history. It will all go down on Sunday March 14 from Madison Square Garden in New York City. We will find out who will challenge Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania later here tonight.
King: I can’t wait for that J.R., but we already know that the Rated R Superstar Edge will challenge Bret Hart for the WWE Championship. Who will leave New York City with the WWE Title in a battle of the Canadians?
J.R.: We also know that the WWE Women’s Title will be decided in a Falls Count Anywhere match between Champion Victoria and challenger Trish Stratus. What will happen when the two Divas spill out to the floor for an all out war?
King: The Big Red Machine Kane is ready to get his hands on Muhammd Hassan at WrestleMania. Hassan put kane out of action and unmasked the monster back at Summer Slam. Now Kane is back and he’s looking for vengeance.
J.R.: Kane’s brother the Undertaker is also returning to action at WrestleMania when he faces the Animal Batista. We have not seen the Undertaker since he was buried alive by Batista back in October. Now Paul Bearer has assured us that the Dead Man will walk amongst us again.
King: WrestleMania will also featured the Money in the Bank ladder match. Eight WWE Superstars will compete to retrieve a briefcase which contains a contract for the WWE or World Title. The winner can cash that contract in at anytime from the moment they win all the way up until the next year’s WrestleMania. Already qualified for the big match are the Dynamite Kid, CM Punk, and Jeff Hardy.
J.R.: Don’t forget about the Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin gave us the news earlier tonight that he will go one-on-one with Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy is looking to cement his name in the WWE history books by taking on the toughest SOB in WWE history. Will Kennedy be able to tame the Rattlesnake at WrestleMania?
King: Plus a new ECW Champion will be crowned at WrestleMania. All of the ECW roster is currently competing every Tuesday night to determine which two Superstars will face off for the gold at WrestleMania. Tune in to ECW tomorrow night to see the latest in the on-going battle to secure a spot at WrestleMania.
J.R.: We will see all this and so much more in just over one month’s time at WrestleMania XX. But we are only moments away from seeing the Nature Boy Ric Flair and Rey Mysterio join forces in tag team action against the current World Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. It’s a huge tag team battle and it’s next!
-Commercial Break-
Gene Okerlund is standing by backstage.
Gene: Please join me in welcoming my guest at this time the Miz. Miz tonight you will compete in the Six Pack Challenge to determine who headlines WrestleMania against Kurt Angle for the World Title. After such a short period of time in the WWE you have really come a long way.
Miz: Gene Okerlund, you act as if you are surprised by my success. I mean just because Hulk Hogan wasn’t an overnight sensation. Just because Triple H struggled at first. It doesn’t mean that someone as talented as me couldn’t get it done. I debuted at the Royal Rumble and nearly won it. If it wasn’t for the double teaming by Edge and Jeff Hardy I would have already secured my spot at WrestleMania. Well tonight I will defeat the five other men in the Six Pack Challenge and I will go on to face Kurt Angle at WrestleMania and then I will become the World Heavyweight Champion. The reason being…is because I’m the Miz! And I’m Awesome!!!
Footage is shown of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin recapturing the Tag Team Titles.
J.R.: Last week here on Raw Haas and Benjamin took the Tag Team Titles back from Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard in a two out of three fall contest which saw Booker T. get involved. Haas and Benjamin were also instrumental in making sure Booker T. retained his U.S. Title against Rey Mysterio. Add to that Ric Flair being attacked in the locker room by Haas and Benjamin and here we have a big tag team grudge match.
NON TITLE MATCH
CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. REY MYSTERIO & RIC FLAIR
Ric Flair fires away at Shelton Benjamin. He rams him to the buckle and gives him a hard shot. Charlie Haas gets into the ring, but Flair chops him. Rey Mysterio comes in with a charging cross body knocking them both over the top to the floor. Ric Flair snap mares Shelton and then drills him with a knee. Flair gives Benjamin a suplex and makes the cover for a two count.
King: Flair and Mysterio have every right to be in a state of rage against the World Tag Team Champions.
J.R.: No doubt they are equally angered by World Champion Kurt Angle and U.S. Champion Booker T. The quartet of title holders are holding the keys to the castle here on Raw right now and everyone is gunning for them.
Flair rams Benjamin into the turnbuckle and tags in Rey Mysterio. Flair chops Benjamin and then Rey springs in with a leg drop for a near fall. Mysterio stomps Benjamin and then kicks him. He sends him in, but Shelton reverses. Rey ducks and hit’s a spring board into a cross body and then hammers away. Rey hit’s a low dropkick and gets a near fall. Rey forearms Shelton and sends him in, but Benjamin reverses. Rey spins around and plants Shelton with a DDT. Rey makes the cover, but Charlie makes the save.
J.R.: It’s always scintillating to watching Rey Mysterio here at ringside.
Shelton Benjamin knees Rey and tags Charlie in. Benjamin plants Rey with a side slam and then Haas delivers an elbow for a two count. Charlie Haas pounds on Rey’s back and then delivers a gut wrench suplex. He delivers a second one and gets a near fall. Haas drops a knee and then pushes Rey into the corner. He lifts Rey up top. Charlie goes for the superplex, but Rey fights out and goes up and over and drops Charlie on the turnbuckle. Rey hit’s a fast leg drop for a two count. Haas manages to tag Shelton back in. Shelton grabs Rey before he can make it to his corner, but Rey rolls through on Benjamin for a near fall. Rey goes to the ropes, but Shelton hit’s a heel kick.
King: You can’t take your eye off of these guys for one second. Every time you think someone has the upper hand, they don’t.
Shelton delivers a German suplex for a near fall. He kicks Rey and delivers a side Russian leg sweep followed by a short arm clothesline. Shelton delivers a gut buster and has the cover, but Rey kicks out. Shelton sets up a power bomb, but Rey lands on his feet and dropkicks Benjamin into the corner. Rey rolls him up for two. Rey drops Shelton into the rope and he connects with the 619.
J.R.: Rey dials it up successfully.
Rey gets set for the West Coast Pop, but sees Charlie Haas inching his way and Rey dives out onto Charlie. Rey then climbs back up to the top. Booker T. runs out and shoves Rey off the top for the DQ. Booker T. rolls into the ring and plants Rey with the Book End. Ric Flair finally gets back into the ring and he chops Booker T. Shelton Benjamin plants Flair with a DDT. Booker T. kicks Rey out of the ring. Haas and Benjamin work over Flair inside.
J.R.: This is another assault on the Nature Boy Ric Flair being perpetrated by this new super group of champions.
Chris Jericho runs to the ring with a chair in hand. He nails Haas with it. Benjamin rolls out. Booker T. takes off as well.
King: I don’t know what Chris Jericho is doing out here, but thankfully he is.
Jericho helps up Ric Flair. Flair backs away as Jericho picks up a microphone.
Jericho: Ric Flair, it may be too little too late, but I would to apologize to you. After what happened at the Royal Rumble I was upset. I was distraught after not winning the World Championship. I blamed you Ric. That was a mistake. I mean you are Ric Flair and you deserve better. You deserve better than to be left to fend for yourself in a two-on-one situation like you were right now. Ric Flair you deserve a straight up face-to-face one-on-one contest. Ric Flair you deserve a break today…
Jericho nails Flair with the microphone and then plants him with the Code Breaker.
J.R.: Are you kidding me? Chris Jericho just came to the aid of the Nature Boy only to leave him lying once again. Chris Jericho isn’t sorry for anything. Chris Jericho is a pompous jacka$$ in my view.
Jericho: Ric Flair I hereby challenge you to face me one-on-one on the sacred ground of Madison Square Garden at WrestleMania. I hope to see you there.
King: Oh boy Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair at WrestleMania. I hope Flair accepts. What a match that would be.
J.R.: I can’t imagine Ric Flair backing away from a challenge and you can bet the six men competing in our main event won’t back down either. The Six Pack Challenge to determine who faces Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania is our main event next!
-Commercial Break-
WWE Slam of the Week: Footage shows the set up for the Six Pack Challenge that occurred on last week’s Monday Night Raw.
World Champion Kurt Angle heads down to ringside and takes a seat.
J.R.: The World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle is joining us here at ringside to get an up close and personal look at the competitors in this match as he will face one of them at WrestleMania.
SIX PACK CHALLENGE
JOHN CENA VS. TRIPLE H VS. HULK HOGAN VS. THE MIZ VS. GOLDBERG VS. TBA
J.R.: We are awaiting the sixth and final participant in this match so we can get underway.
Out from the back comes Ken Shamrock. Shamrock is introduced as the final participant. Kurt Angle stands out of his seat with a look of disdain on his face.
King: J.R. I hate to steal your lines, but I think business has just picked up.
J.R.: Wow what a blockbuster. The World’s Most Dangerous Man as he has been called. It’s Ken Shamrock. Shamrock a former competitor here in the WWE as well as in the octagon. Shamrock showed his face on numerous occasions recently sitting at ringside watching some of Kurt Angle’s matches. This is going to be most interesting.
John Cena starts off against Triple H. The Game punches Cena. Cena fires back. Cena sends him in, but Triple H reverses. Cena kicks the Game and then clotheslines. He nails him again and then slams Triple H.
J.R.: These two have gotten into a rivalry after what took place during the Royal Rumble match and now they are fighting it out to try and get to the main event at WrestleMania. Remember King in this match you can tag in and out to anybody you would like and it is elimination rules. The match continues until all but one man has been eliminated.
Cena pounds on Triple H. He sends him in, but the Game reverses. Cena ducks under, but Triple H catches him with an elbow. The Game plants the knee and gets a one count. Triple H delivers a suplex and then follows with several elbows for a near fall.
King: The best strategy here J.R. is to stay on the apron for as long as you can and let everyone else do the heavy lifting and then you come in and take the victory.
Triple H suplexes Cena. The Miz reaches in and tags himself in. The Miz covers Cena, but he kicks out. Miz kicks and pounds on Cena. Miz hit’s a neck breaker and gets a near fall.
J.R.: This Miz is something else. He has made a certain impact in a very short period of time here in the WWE and he certainly hasn’t endeared himself to anyone along the way.
The Miz sends in Cena. Cena tackles the Miz. He drills him again. Goldberg reaches in and he tags himself in. Goldberg pounds on Miz and sends him in for a big back drop. He clotheslines the Miz. He delivers another and then lifts Miz up into a gorilla press and then turns it into a power slam. Goldberg has the cover, but Miz gets a shoulder up.
J.R.: Goldberg is remembering the loss he suffered to the Miz last week here on Raw. Goldberg would like to redeem himself here tonight.
The Miz rakes the eyes of Goldberg and gives him a knee lift and then quickly tags Hulk Hogan. Hogan comes in. He punches Goldberg and quickly grabs a side headlock. Goldberg sends him in. Hogan comes off and the two collide, but no one moves. They try again and no one moves. Hogan goes to the ropes. Goldberg leaps over and then hiplocks Hogan. He scoops up Hogan and slams him down. Goldberg misses a fist drop and Hogan pounds on Goldberg.
King: That’s what you get for stealing one of my moves.
Hogan slams Goldberg and drops an elbow. Hogan steps on Goldberg’s face and then sends him in. Hogan connects with the big boot. The Miz again tags himself in by slapping Hulk Hogan on the back. Hogan nails Miz and pulls him into the ring. Goldberg lunges forward with a spear, but Miz moves and Hogan gets nailed and falls out to the floor. Miz hit’s a running a knee lift on Goldberg. Triple H reaches in tags Miz. The Game comes in and quickly hooks up Goldberg and plants him with the Pedigree. Triple H has the cover and Goldberg is done.
J.R.: What action we have here in this ultra important contest and Goldberg has just lost his opportunity to headline WrestleMania thanks to the Pedigree from Triple H.
Ken Shamrock jumps into the ring for the first time in the match. Triple H tries to nail him, but Shamrock blocks and hiplocks the Game over. He takes him over with an arm drag and then hooks him with a leg trip and then quickly goes for an ankle lock, but the Game kicks him off.
J.R.: Ken Shamrock can come out you from all angles, non pun intended. Kurt Angle is engrossed in this contest sitting here at ringside.
Shamrock elbows Triple H. he nails him again and then connects with a belly to belly suplex. Shamrock hit’s a back suplex and gets a near all. Shamrock delivers a German suplex and then takes down the Game by his arm and pulls it back. Triple H manages to get back up and turns Shamrock into a back slide for a near fall. Shamrock takes Triple H back down, but he kicks him. Triple H works on Shamrock’s leg and then goes to his knee. The Game pounds on Shamrock. Shamrock fights back. He goes to the ropes, but Triple H catches him with a spine buster.
J.R.: What a scintillating spine buster from the Game.
Triple H goes for the Pedigree, but Shamrock hooks the Game and knocks him down. Shamrock tags John Cena back. Cena comes off the top with a big leg drop on Triple H. He makes the cover, but the Game kicks out. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Triple H slips out and delivers a neck breaker. He then tags Hulk Hogan. Hogan comes in and slams Cena. He sends him to the corner and follows in with a clothesline. Hogan sends Cena across and gives him another clothesline. Hogan delivers the atomic drop and then sends him in for the big boot. Hogan cups his ear to the crowd and then goes for the leg drop, but Cena moves. Cena lifts Hogan up for the Attitude Adjustment and plants him. Miz tags the back of Cena and leaps in with a big elbow drop and covers Hogan for a three count.
J.R.: The Miz has done it again. The Miz now has a victory over the legendary Hulk Hogan.
King: The Miz is never going to let us hear the end of it.
John Cena nails the Miz. He give shim a spinning slam and then delivers the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena has the cover, the Miz kicks out. Cena pounds the Miz and rams him into the turnbuckle. He delivers a flying tackle the Miz and then applies the STF. The Miz struggles trying to find a rope to grab. Miz can’t get free and finally taps out.
J.R.: Well the Miz has been eliminated after a tremendous showing. It was not meant to be for the Miz to headline WrestleMania so soon after his debut.
King: This leaves us with Ken Shamrock, Triple H, and John Cena. Kurt Angle cannot be happy about tis.
Triple H is back in and nails John Cena. He nails Shamrock as well and then pounds on Cena. He sends him in, but Cena reverses. Triple H connects with a face buster and then a clothesline. The Game plants a big knee and gets a near fall. Ken Shamrock reaches in and pulls the Game out of the ring and runs him into the ring steps. Angle gets out of his seat and rams Shamrock with the title belt. Angle then rams Shamrock into the announce table.
J.R.: Kurt Angle is trying to take out the competition here. This doesn’t bode well for Shamrock.
Triple H gets back up on the ring apron. Cena nails the Game. Cena pulls Triple H up onto the turnbuckle as he climbs. Cena superplexes the Game back in. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Triple H slips out and spins Cena around and drills him with the Pedigree. Triple H covers Cena and uses the rope for extra leverage to get the three count.
J.R.: Wow John Cena is done. Cena’s chances for a WrestleMania main event have gone up in smoke. Now the Game is left with Ken Shamrock who has been beaten down by our World Champion here at ringside.
Angle hooks Shamrock and gives hi the Angle Slam through the announce table. Several officials come down to ringside and pull Angle back. They escort Kurt Angle away from ringside. Triple H grabs Ken Shamrock and pushes him back into the ring. Triple H covers Shamrock. Shamrock gets a shoulder up.
King: I thought that was it. I don’t know how Ken Shamrock could have gotten out of that.
Triple H plants the big knee. He follows with a second one. Triple H sends Shamrock into the corner. He pounds and stomps on Shamrock. He whips him across the ring. Triple H continues his assault. Triple H clotheslines Shamrock under the bottom rope. Triple H covers him again, but this time Shamrock gets his foot on the bottom rope. Triple H shoves the referee back for not counting. The Game delivers two suplexes and then sends Shamrock in for the high knee. He sends him in again and delivers the spine buster. Triple H sets up the Pedigree.
J.R.: Looks like Angle vs. Triple H for WrestleMania.
Shamrock hooks Triple H’s leg and knocks him back to the mat. Shamrock turns him and applies the ankle lock.
J.R.: Just like that the tide has turned and now Ken Shamrock is in control with a Kurt Angle-like maneuver.
Triple H tries to fight it. He tries to break free. He inches his way to the rope. Triple H reaches out trying to grab anything he can. He nearly gets there, but Shamrock pulls him up to the center of the ring. He turns the ankle further in and Triple H taps out.
J.R.: Ken Shamrock has done it! Shamrock has beaten the odds and now Ken Shamrock will be staring face-to-face at Kurt Angle at Madison Square Garden for WrestleMania. Triple H’s ankle may be broken in half. Ken Shamrock is looking for the World Title. He’s looking for Kurt Angle. Will Ken Shamrock be the next World Heavyweight Champion? Thank you for joining us. We’ll see you next week on Monday Night Raw!

WWE Slam of the Week: Footage shows the set up for the Six Pack Challenge that occurred on last week’s Monday Night Raw.
World Champion Kurt Angle heads down to ringside and takes a seat.
