just got my elite 5 swagger from rsc, i'm kinda feeling every scan he's had is off, including that dumb looking jakks scan. i just cant pin point the problem though

Will you be posting pics? I think Swaggers scan is supposed to be an angry pout, but it is hard to tell with no close pics of the face.

So far no, no Mattel Swagger is looking right. I'm keeping my JAKKS Swagger.
I do want to see more pictures of Elite, or the Figure Insider video to see the face more from different angles. The singlet idea is perfect, both attires are great, especially the red white and blue. Might beat the Wrestlemania one, but we'll see.

i HATED the first one, the newer one looks pretty good compared to both Jakks version and Mattel's first crack at it. whatever though, Swagger's just gonna be one of those guys who won't get a good headscan for a while. Don't like it, don't buy it.

the scan on the basic isnt THAT bad, its mainly the hair mold and color. This one isnt the best in likeness but I dont think in general it looks horrid at all, just not much likeness

Did they fix his tights and give him the more traditional wrestling tights (like Kurt Angle's with the thin strip up the back) instead of the Finlay style top where the back is really wide?

I really hate to disagree with you guys, but I love the new Gary Busey scan of Swagger! It captures his new pissed off look as well as his accurate hairstyle. I think it's pretty darn close to being as good as you can get it. Plus, remember protos NEVER look as good as the real thing. Lets wait and see!

Swag's got a kind of goofy look to him, I personally think Jakks nailed it. His eyes had a bit of a "highin" look to them...but they got his mouth, jawline & hair perfect.
Mattel's first scan was horrid, he looked like a 15 year old kid. I kind of like the Elite 5 scan, but I'll have to see it in person before I fully judge.

Well no matter how bad the elite scan is, it probably wins by default. Cause the basic scan is horrendous.

The basic scan isnt too bad but it was a bit too tanned, could have been painted better and the hair is what threw it off. At the moment it appears better to me than the elite but i think the elite will look better in person or closer pics. Swaggers a hard guy to capture in a figure unfortunately. The elite hair on the basic swagger might have looked alright.
