I had the set that included Flair. I was really young, and I don't recall how my ring broke, but I know it did, and I was devastated, but not as devastated as I was when this bully roofed most of my figures.

those are amazing. I only have 3-4 AWA figs, but I enjoy them. the head sculpts are surprisingly good for early/mid 80s, i think.

The only thing I've got left from the AWA Remco line in my collection is a MOC Fabulous Freebirds 3-pack which I got signed by Michael "P.S." Hayes when I met him many years ago at a car show in Toronto.

What does it say on the referee on the 1st box (the one with Flair)? Nice, btw! I believe it says the referees name, which is Dick Woehrle. Also, here's a pic of the back of the box.

I got the set with the Road Warriors when I was a kid. Imagine being 6 or 7 and getting a set with a ring, 6 wrestlers, and a ref all in one box! It was definitely awesome.

Living in Toronto, Canada - I am old enough to remember several AWA 2-packs and 3-packs warming pegs, but I don't remember seeing either of these ring sets in stores.
Thanks for posting.

Very cool sets that go for alot when they do come up for sale. I always wanted them. My favorite thing about them is the $100,000 paycheck!

As a child I owned the Jimmy Garvin/Steve Regal/precious set. I loved it so much. i wonder if I could find it again now...
I also had a Baron Von Raschke figure in later years that I found at a flea market.
i loved AWA figures, I wish I had been able to get more of them.
