Sorry, just saw the other thread with the whole card. Feel free to lock.
Evan Dunham and Sean Sherk have verbally agreed to face off in a lightweight contest at the yet-to-be-announced UFC 119 on Sept. 25 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Sherdog.com has learned from multiple sources.
The 28-year-old Dunham eked past Tyson Griffin with a split decision nod at UFC 115 on June 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The undefeated Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has collected four straight wins in the Octagon, including turns against “TUF 9” winner Efrain Escudero and Marcus Aurelio.
UFC 119 will mark Sherk’s return to the Octagon following a 16-month absence. The former UFC lightweight champion withdrew from a scheduled bout against Jim Miller at UFC 108 last January, after sustaining a forehead cut that required multiple stitches.
Prior to that, the 36-year-old Minnesotan was forced to pull out of a bout against Gleison Tibau at UFC 104 last October when he suffered a “Grade II AC separation” in his right shoulder while rolling with a training partner.
UFC 119 is tentatively slated to include a heavyweight bout between Joey Beltran and “Ultimate Fighter 10” veteran Matt Mitrione, and a lightweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Melvin Guillard.
The promotion has not yet announced a headlining bout for UFC 119.

Former heavyweight champions Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir have verbally agreed to headline the yet-to-be-announced UFC 119 on Sept. 25 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., Sherdog.com has learned.
MMAFighting.com was the first to report the main-event rematch on Thursday.
Nogueira, who once ruled Pride Fighting Championships’ marquee division in Japan, meets Mir in his 41st career bout. The 33-year-old Brazilian legend suffered a first-round TKO loss to Cain Velasquez at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia, after notching a unanimous decision over contemporary Randy Couture at UFC 102 last August. After Nogueira’s loss to Mir at UFC 92 in December 2008, it was revealed the Brazilian was suffering through a staph infection at the time.
Mir’s second-round technical knockout against Nogueira earned him the UFC interim heavyweight title. The 31-year-old Las Vegas native fought UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar a second time to unify the titles at UFC 100 in July 2009; Lesnar emerged the winner via a second-round stoppage from strikes. Following a dynamic first-round win over Cheick Kongo, Mir again fought for an interim championship against Shane Carwin at UFC 111 in March, but succumbed to punches in the first round.
Mir won the vacant UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 48 in June 2004, breaking Tim Sylvia’s arm with a slick 50-second armbar submission. Following a life-threatening motorcycle accident later that year, Mir was stripped of the title. The father of four made an unlikely return to fighting nearly two years later.
Light heavyweight prospects Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ryan Bader have verbally agreed to face off at the yet-to-be-announced UFC 119 on Sept. 25 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., Sherdog.com has learned.
MMAWeekly.com was the first to report the co-headlining attraction on Thursday.
Rogerio, the twin brother of UFC heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, earned a split decision victory over late replacement Jason Brilz at UFC 114 last May in Las Vegas. The 33-year-old Pride Fighting Championships veteran made an impressive Octagon debut at UFC 106 last November in Las Vegas, boxing out a first-round stoppage against Luis Arthur Cane.
The undefeated Bader scored a third-round knockout against Keith Jardine at UFC 110 last February in Sydney, Australia. Bader, who turned 27 in June, won “The Ultimate Fighter 8” in December 2008 and has reeled off three Octagon wins since then.
UFC 119 is tentatively slated to include a heavyweight bout between Joey Beltran and “The Ultimate Fighter 10” veteran Matt Mitrione, and a lightweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Melvin Guillard.
IM SOOOOO EXCITED! Sean Sherk is my favorite fighter of all time, so getting the chance to see him fight for the second time is a thrill for me. I know I'm the only one, but now I'm cool if Indy doesn't get Lesnar/Cain.
