-The July 8th edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.14 (1.1) cable rating with 1,450,000 viewers. The first hour went up against Lebron James' 'The Decision' on ESPN. tnawrestlingnews.com
Pretty good for their competition.

I'm impressed. Odd that TNA seems to do their best nowadays with major competition, but hey, any way they get it.
Good for TNA.

Not like it's a break through and they are getting dramatically better ratings.

Not like it's a break through and they are getting dramatically better ratings. Beats an 0.9. I still think they should be doing way better than the lowley numbers they do now, but for TNA, it's a good number. It won't mean much if they fall back down to an 0.9 next week, but for now, against major competition, good job by TNA.

That is quite a good rating so good for TNA.
Now only if they could keep it consistent.

Yeah, but their last two PPV buyrates have been "well below 10,000" according to Meltzer.

That's ok I suppose. But they used to get higher than that consistently.

It's good for them that they've reached 1.0+ again, but the thing is. They have done it before and it dropped back. So will just have to see if it stays like that.

TNA has maintained their core audience against the NBA Finals and Lebron's announcement. I guess when TNA fans want to watch fixed sports with formations of a superfaction, they stick with wrestling.

And I really doubt that Meltzer is in that The guy apparently has WWE executives as sources so I don't think it is too much of stretch to think he has a TNA source who is in a similar position.
