So yeah, I have two 1 of 1,000 Melina's MOC on my wall. Should I open one? I have no real need for two to be MOC and I'm getting into the diva figures now. Should I go for it? Opinions?

IMO you should open one because if you have 2 then you could have a loose figure and belt plus the resale isn't great so you'll always have a loose and MOC one. You'll have one to play with too if you play and you could display a loose if you wnat so yeah I would say you should open it

Might as well. I usually try to keep them MOC if the package is nice and then if i find another i get it to open. The resale on these is terrible so i would just open and enjoy it.

NO! Never open 1 of 1000 figures! Especially if you have two of them

I would open 1 so I wouldn't have to get a third Melina that isn't a 1/1000 to be able to have loose.

I'd open it. My wife saw a case of Series 5 with another 1/1000 Melina at the Garnerville NY Shop-Rite yesterday when grocery shopping.

I would open it as well, considering that you mentioned that you have an extra one. What I would do is open the higher number and keep the lower one MOC.

go ahead and open it. i find them tough to sell. i tried to sell a 1 of 1000 big show on ebay once. did not work out well at all. a lot of it was my fault but i actually managed to lose money on the deal. wen i saw it i thought the belt said 11 of 1000 but the 11 was kind of far over. i ended up selling it on ebay for like only $8.50 plus shipping. after the buyer received it he wrote me and informed me that the packaging had been tampered with and someone had scratched off the first number. it was actually a 111 of 1000. thankfully the buyer had already resold it and wasnt very upset about it. so i refunded his $8.50 and was able to keep the money for shipping since i did provide fast shipping. i guess what im saying is open it if u want the figure loose. i personally dont see the value of 1 of 1000s and dont buy them anymore. if i see one i leave it for someone else to get. although i guess it would be cool if one person was able to track down all 1000 of a particular figure and display them all.

Heres what you do. Take a knife and cut the package right down the middle. (Standing clear of all figures. Take the half of the figure that's open and pose it. That way, you can't lose!
