I'm so fed up by the ad breaks when ESPN show the live UFC shows... it's just so frustrating! Just when it's cutting to guys like Undertaker or a UFC guy etc. in the crowd, we cut to an ad... just when they are previewing upcoming shows, we cut to an ad... just when the cameras are going backstage, we cut to an ad. Not to mention, it usually comes back half way through the build-up of the next fight... I don't think we even got any of the Goldberg and Rogan talk/intro before the main Lesnar/Carwin fight last night(?)
Am I being overly fussy? It's just it takes you "out" of the event and seems totally unecessary. I'm thinking of e-mailing ESPN and complaining or saying I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription (...I'm not of course, but they don't know that!). Maybe if enough of us kick up a fuss...?

I don't think you're being overly fussy. If I paid for an ESPN subscription and got constant adverts I'd be annoyed. Emailing them won't do a thing, they won't care if one person threatens to leave and unfortunately I doubt enough people are annoyed by it to start some sort of frenzy.

I had Setanta before these clowns took over and they were horrendous so I didn't pick up ESPN when that came on. Cancel mate. There's plenty of places online you can watch Sports for free.

It just seems that for £12 a month, showing ads during the live broadcast (at 3-6 in the morning!) is a bit unecessary... especially as the UFC is all a lot of people subscribe to ESPN for. Still, it's not as bad as Sky Box Office (PPV) showing ads between the rounds of their big boxing events - that's disgraceful.  |

I dont mean to be a dick but i watch UFC to see the fights, not to see whos in the crowd! So i dont really care.

I'm not that bothered about the crowd shots... it's more the back-stage or dressing room footage and talk/build towards the fights I don't like missing. And the previewing of upcoming shows and events. |
