- WWE has reportedly signed Val Venis to return to the company. It's unknown yet if he will be performing on TV or working as an agent. Venis worked for TNA earlier this year when Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan came in. - To update the earlier story on Val Venis returning to WWE, word is that he will begin working again with the company on their European tour in early November. Still no word yet if he will be returning as a performer or as an agent. Before his WWE release in early 2009, there was talk of having Venis work with some of the younger talents. Source: F4Wonline.com Even if he works backstage we're still bound for some Val Venis special appearances

..but WWE signs him back
and 'YAY, Venis is back"

There's an old school RAW in like two weeks isn't there? That's probably why he's back.

I wonder how long he lasts, and if he will be just there like Regal is.

I always enjoyed the guy's work, so I'm glad to see he's back. My guess would be that he's going to help out with younger talent, but should he return in an in-ring capacity, I hope he doesn't get jobbed out in every match.
Val Venis/Goldust storyline FTW!

Good news. I was glad to see him in his brief TNA run so I'm even happier to have him back in WWE.

I love the Libertarian Libertine as much as the next guy, but really...what's he gonna do? Be Kane's running mate?
