Based on the final card for tonight's PPV:
Mickie James vs. Tara;
With Tara willfully admitting she's the Knockout obstical for newBs (alla APA 2000-2001 WWF), it sets up for a Mickie James win, not counting the momentum going into the match. My pick: Mickie James with a pinfall.
Abyss vs. Pope Dinero - Lumberjack Match;
Supposidly, Pope's "congrigation" is to be the lumberjacks, but I have a feeling it'll somehow involve Immortal - maybe taking out some of the "congrigation members" or having them turn on Pope or something like that. I pick Abyss to walk out victorious in this one.
Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam;
Since the whole RVD paranoia storyline, the back of my mind has always said even thou Rob's accousing Sabu, Raven, Rhino of being Bischoff's boy, if there is a Biscoff stooge, it would be shocking but make sense for it to be Dreamer! Tommy wanting to ditch EV.2 to become a new sophisticated member of Fortune, thus leading to the demise of EV.2 (see EV.2 vs. Fortune). Hands down, Tommy Dreamer gets the duke in this one!
Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe;
Obviously, those 2 security fellers will interfer in the match somehow, but TNA needs to be wise by rebuilding some stock into Joe, and by doing so, a win over Jeff Jarrett would be a great start! Joe with the victory via submission.
Fortune vs. EV.2 - "Firing" stipulation;
This is supposidly the final battle between the 2 factions, so it's pretty apparent the Fortune members arn't going anywhere, and neither is Tommy Dreamer (see Dreamer vs. RVD). Dreamer will play a role in Fortune upsetting EV.2! As to who will get the pink slip, rumors are circulating it's Sabu, but Rhino hasn't officially signed a new contract as of yet, so it maybe him. But something also tells me it could very well be Raven, however with Steven Richards (and dare I say Spanky) still permanently on the roster, Raven maybe needed to work with the 2 (Richards and Raven history, Kendrick and Raven could create a stimulating war of words). Fortune wins the war!
Robbie E w/ Cookie vs. Jay Leathel (c) - XDivision title;
To be honest, I'm not really a fan of the X-division title anymore, as it's lost it's grace over the period of time, so it doesn't really matter to me who wins, but to humor you all, I'm picking Jay Leathel to retain the title.
Team 3D vs. Motorcity Machine Guns (c) - Tag Team titls;
D'von & Bubbah are claiming this is their final match, and with the amount of screw-jobs already I've predicted on the show thus far, the Dudleys are no different! With the information of 3D signing new TNA contracts, I'm predicting they'll regain the titles after a cheated victory, before they hop on the mic and say they're not only staying together, but they're warning every team to prepare for a far worse Team 3D than any other company has ever seen!
Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Hardy (c) - World title;
Jeff Hardy will walk away as the champion at the end of the night! As much as it would be crowd pleasing to put the strap on Morgan as an upset (and crowds LOVE an upset, if you watched the Cain/Brock fight), I feel it just isn't Morgan's time (YET!). How it will go down, obviously, Immortal will get involved. I see Matt taking care of a lot of business, maybe guys like Joe, Pope, and a returning Angle would come to assist Matt... but if it doesn't happen tonight, it'll happen down the road sometime: the debut of another Matt. . . . . . Hardy that is, who will cost the challenger the match, thus awarding the title back around Jeff's waist.
And those are my solid predictions for tonight's card. It's a shame the Knockouts title won't be defended tonight, in fact, the last time I recall it being defended was at BFG. Though I doubt TNA has a 30 day defense clause they enforce like the WWE used to do. No Ink, Inc. No Generation Me. No Beautiful People. No more Shark Boy
