How do you fix a loose shoulder joint that spins? Any way to tighten or make it snug?

I heard people stuff cotton inside the chest cavity or spin thread around the joint. I tried the cotton deal and all I got was a cotton filled Terry Funk with a crazy spinning arm, I call it his "golpe de molinete" (windmill punch).

I tryed that once to, had pretty much the same result. I just admit defeat with damaged figures and throw them in the bin and buy a new one. If you don't want to buy a new one, you could always just try putting blu-tac around the joint, it does hold it in place but it usually goes pretty stiff and hard to move.
