Hi guys - I've started collecting the Mattel Legends figures - but it looks as though two of my all-time favorites won't be getting a figure by them any time soon (if at all). So I'm after a Hogan and Flair figure to go with my collection - out of the ones released, which do you think is the best/your favorite? Ideally I'm after one that is a similar size and "fits in" with the Mattel Legends figures (...and preferably a red and yellow Hulkster, pre-nWo). Thanks for your help!

As for Flair, you can't go wrong with black robe internet exclusive, blue robe CS9 or Best of WCW in purple.

Hulk Still Rules boxset, WM 19 Flair/Taker. Those would indeed be in scale with Mattel. If you want more than that, customs are in order.

CS 8 HOGAN NWO & Ric Flair edition exclusif ringside festival He said pre - NWO Your best bet is Hogan from the R3 Tech 3 pack (yellow trunks) and the only R3 tech Flair (came with undertaker) These I'm pretty sure would be in scale with mattel

My mistake, it's WM 18, not 19.

Thanks for the suggestions guys... I've just looked up the "Hulk Still Rules" set which looks great! I can't find the R3 Undertaker/Flair 2-pk... (anyone have any pics/links?). Were there a lot of figures made in this R3 style? It might help fill in the gaps for the ones Mattel probably won't be making... Cheers.

From the database. There was also a VERY bizarre black-haired variant of Ric.

If you do order the r3 Flair, make sure it has white hair, because some of them came with black hair.

I would personally pass on the R3 Flair. Just get the CS2/9 Flair head and put it on a Mattel body. Its a perfect fit and an easy swap for a Terry Funk or Cody Rhodes body. That is the best way you are going to get true continuity with your existing collection.

Thanks for the pic (karma given!)... does that 2-pack include a robe as well, or just the figure? I couldn't see a robe, but you never know... I would personally pass on the R3 Flair. Just get the CS2/9 Flair head and put it on a Mattel body. Its a perfect fit and an easy swap for a Terry Funk or Cody Rhodes body. That is the best way you are going to get true continuity with your existing collection. Yeah, I might do that... I'd really like one in a robe - they look great (and Flair's GOT to be in a robe, lol). Was there ever a R3 type Mick Foley or Mankind figure? If not, I'll probably go for the exclusive Wrestlemania 22 boxed version... looks very cool! Cheers.

As some people have mentioned, if you want them in scale with Mattel, you should definitely go with the R-3 Hogan and Flair, or make a couple of customs using RA/R3 heads.
As for their best RA figures, my favorite Hogan is either the CS8 WM Hogan or the CSTT5 Hogan that came with Warrior. I seem to like the smiling scan on that figure for some reason.
For Flair, I'd go with the CS9 or the one from the 3-pack that came with Perfect and Heenan.

My favourite Hogan figure is the CS11 one... but I think the best looking MOC Hogan figure is the 2-in-1 Hogan (ticket giveaway). I have all the Hogan figures from the CS line, and pics of most of them can be found at my old thread -- CLICK HERE. God bless.
