If he said Bryant, it wasn't cause he is not familiar... cause he is a huge Daniel Bryan supporter.

When Cole said his last name is Bryan not Bryant, JR should have turned to him and said "I thought it was Danielson" Just to see Cole's reaction

From the Raw letters to Mean Gene's side stage to the ring ropes and Lord Alfred Hayes......all of that stuff was truly awesome. Loved the WWF jackets, old Raw theme, steel barriers and the Mean Gene plugs. Could have done without JR. Chocolate Shark, dude is out for one match and he cant even get the competitors' names right, especially after being corrected 3 times and probably countless times in his head set. Bitter old man. GO AWAY! You'd still wait for his bitter, old butt outside his hotel room, so stuff it, lumpy. Zing!

In summation: CM The Anti-Stopper has been owned. I really liked the set for the old school Raw. Though if I had been in charge of the set, I would've had the old block letter WWF light-up sign hanging over or sitting next to a simple curtain like in the late '80s/early '90s. Maybe a small screen with it too. Or have the set they had last night with no "RAW" letters and the WWF light-up sign in place of the "A." The old neon entry way under the TitanTron could've been cool too. But it was Raw so the "RAW" letters were just fine.

I think it was a clash of fandom if you know what I'm saying. The average WWE crowd nowadays is mostly children. Just as you said, I don't think that most of them could even comprehend the nostalgic beauty that was placed before them. For instance, if we took the crowd from the 1/4/10 Raw and put them in the place of tonight's crowd, they would've went apesh** for George Steele's random appearence, and be singing the words to Slick's rap. Unno? Tonight's Raw just wasn't something that the average 5-14 year old kid could appreciate. We remember all the little details that WWF used to have that they made it a point to bring out tonight. They don't. I guess that's why I didn't care that the crowd was dead for most of the night, because I could understand why. Next time, they should try to do a retro show in a city with more wrestling history. The really need to shoot for the Chicago's, New York's, Philly's, and Greensboro's of the wrestling world. Yeah your right. But thats also the tricky thing. I cant figure out if the crowd was too young to enjoy the nostalgia, or if it was just a bad crowd altogether. I mean, Hershey, PA isnt the in the handful of citys that come to mind when you think of the typical wrestling cities, but they sure did make it seem like it tonight. It might have just been as you said, bad location. It was a bad crowd. I was there. They were dead. But that had alot to do with WWE. When you guys went to commercial we were met with dead silence most of the night. And I think the old school, while fun, was overdone. Maybe a bit at the beginning, middle and end, but it just appreared to drag through the whole show. Plus it being 3 hours and not a whole lotta matches to keep the crowd poppin, It turned out to be just what it was, a nostalgia show . Certianly not complaining but the show was really phoned in which surprised me going into a big PPV. perhaps it plays out differently on TV, I'll have to watch.

While we could tell that the crowd was dead from the TV, you'd enjoy it alot more watching from your home. They outdid themselves by making it seem like a production from the early 90s.
