Former partner of a successful tag performer, now a multi-time World Champion, but never a champion himself. He's won titles, but never "the" title. He's got great acting skills and in-ring ability, but for some reason he doesn't get what's coming to him.

I always hated Owen Hart, but Christian has always been a whipping boy. He was one of those people who'd come to the ring when the undertaker was ABA, and you knew that he was going to get a last ride.
Christian is great at selling other people really well, and it's all he really needs to be. He doesn't have a marketable look, and if he ever had popularity, it's long gone now with his character.

In years to come, I don't believe that Christian will be remembered to have the influence that Owen did. Not a bad comparison though.

British Bulldog? If you mean bret that's a really bad comparison as they were never really a tag team, the only started tagging to set up their fued.

Yea Im really lost on that one cause Owen was only really a team with 4 guys. Neidhart, Koko, Yoko and Bulldog. Only Yoko held the world title and that was BEFORE he was even part of that tag team. Same would even go with Bret if you wanted to stretch and include him. Christian is more like Marty Jannetty. All the talent in the world but just cant get over that hump. Unlike his partner who has exploded and become one of the biggest names in the company.

Owen always had the credibility to be WWF Champion [well, until 98] whereas Christian didn't [later than 2004].

Owen always had the credibility to be WWF Champion [well, until 98] whereas Christian didn't [later than 2004]. Owen didn't always have the credibility, IMO. He definitely did after winning the KOTR in '94 and going on with the feud he and Bret had(best feud EVER). And, Christian got that credibility in '05, IMO when he got in the Title picture with Cena and Jericho. Owen is a Legend in many people's point of view(mine, too), so it is hard to compare him to anyone in the current scene. However, Christian is quite similar in many ways, they are/were both incredibly talented wrestlers and entertainers. Will Christian be held in as high regard as Owen now is? I tend to think, no. But, no one will know for sure until Christian is retired and his career is complete. On a side note, I just wanted to say, I loved the Yoko/Owen tag team more than anything. Probably my favorite "thrown together" team.

Kid Kash was this generation's Owen Hart That pictures just reminds me of how pissed I was when Owen didn't beat Shawn for the WWF Championship...or even get a PPV title shot. I marked out like crazy when Owen attacked Shawn after the D-Generation X PPV. Great face turn there, was completely logical, and really could have shot Owen into the main event. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, it's better that Owen didn't get the belt at that time, but man, I was ready for it. Actually it could have worked. Since Shawn hurt himself at the Rumble, they could have had Owen take the belt from him the night after or at No Way Out (replacing the tag match with MYSTERY PARTNER SAVIO VEGA). Then, Owen can go back to being a heel for whatever reason and face Austin at 'Mania 14, considering the history they have. Though going over Owen wouldn't have had the same impact as going over Shawn did, it could have worked. Owen just would have been a transitional champion.
